Chapter 855: Chapter 770: Trueblood Form

At the center of the petals was a vertical pupil, golden, identical to Audric’s dragon eyes.

The vertical pupils slowly rotated, scanning everything around.

Vera’s thorns stabbed toward Audric, blocked by a golden flower.

The tip of the thorns pierced into the petals but could no longer advance at all, as if something held them tightly.

Vera’s expression changed, wanting to retract the thorns, but found that they no longer obeyed.

They were being devoured by the golden flower core, turning to ashes inch by inch from the tips.

Adrian’s water and fire vortex slammed down, simultaneously blocked by two golden flowers.

Flames and water swirled wildly in front of the petals but could not break through the thin golden barrier.

The water and fire elf by Adrian’s shoulder let out a sharp cry, wings vibrated fiercely, releasing a thick red-blue beam.

The beam struck the golden flower, causing it to tremble slightly, a crack appeared on the petal edges, but it did not shatter.

The vertical pupil turned slightly to look at the water and fire elf, the elf’s body suddenly stiffened, as if intimidated by something, and fell from mid-air, caught by Adrian.

Leon’s Holy Silver Fighting Spirit condensed into a silver-white beam, blasting toward Audric.

Three golden flowers simultaneously shielded him; the beam exploded on the first, petals bursting, turning the first flower into countless golden light spots; the beam dimmed by half when hitting the second, which also shattered; on the third, the beam completely dissipated, leaving the third flower intact.

Leon’s pupils contracted.

He had seen these flowers in the arena, where Audric used this move to block all his attacks.

But the flowers then weren’t as strong as now; he could shatter them all in one strike then, now it was immensely challenging.

No one remains stagnant, especially these geniuses whose progress speed is unimaginable to ordinary people.

Leon believed his mastery over inherited power had greatly improved recently, with his strength further advancing.

But he wasn’t the only one progressing; everyone was rapidly growing, fall behind even slightly, and he’d be left behind.

Audric stood in place, surrounded by slowly rotating golden flowers.

Golden scales began emerging on his body, not the previous localized coverage, but full-body scales truly streaming from beneath his skin.

The scales were thicker and denser than before, each glowing with dazzling gold as if condensed from pure sunlight.

His form began to swell, transforming from a humanoid to a larger, more terrifying existence.

His wings re-emerged, no longer the previous ragged flesh wings, but a true pair of dragon wings.

The membranes thick like sails, bone spurs sharp like spears, wing span covering the sky.

His body grew from three meters to five meters, from five meters to ten meters, from ten meters to thirty meters...

Audric’s limbs turned into robust dragon claws, his neck grew elongated, his head no longer human but a true dragon’s head.

Dragon horns curved, dragon mouth fangs intertwined, dragon eyes burned with golden flames.

He soared into the sky.

The golden dragon lifted off from the ground, a flap of wings stirred a storm dispersing Vera’s thorns, Adrian’s water and fire vortex, Leon’s Holy Silver Fighting Spirit.

His body tumbled within the clouds, scales reflecting blinding gold under the gray-white daylight.

His form continued to swell, from thirty meters to fifty meters, from fifty meters to a hundred meters, eventually almost occupying the entire sky.

That was no mere illusion, but a true, living Golden Dragon.

Its presence overshadowed everything on the battlefield, eclipsing all wizards’ energy fluctuations, surpassing millennia of accumulated death aura in this tomb.

It was the ruler of this world.

Duke watched the dragon, watching it coil within the clouds, golden scales like mirrors reflecting the tiny figures on the ground.

In his heart was but a single thought, this was the bloodline of the Golden Dragon.

This was why the Blood Gold Clan could secure a place in the entire Wizard Plane.

The dragon lowered its head, those eyes burning with golden flames gazed down at the ants on the ground.

Its mouth opened, Audric’s voice emanated from the dragon’s mouth, deep, hoarse, like thunder, like a mountain collapse.

"You have driven me to this point, be proud."

"But it ends here."

Clouds behind it surged, golden light burst from its body, illuminating the entire Ancient Battlefield.

Leon looked up at the dragon, the Holy Silver Battle Body on him burned to its utmost.

Silver-white light poured forth from his body, condensing into a towering silver-white illusion around him.

The illusion’s features blurred, but its contours closely resembled him, like an extension of him, or the manifestation of the long-lost heritage of the Holy Silver Knight Order within him.

His eyes had completely turned silver-white, burning with light same-sourced as the illusion.

Vera stood by Leon’s side, her hands slowly raised, fingers spread.

The space behind her began to tremble, unlike Audric’s violent space-tearing, but a gentler, more natural rhythm, like spring’s first breeze over bare branches, like the first seed breaking through soil after rain.

Countless thorns emerged from the void behind her, not the previous purple spiked vines, but an older, more resilient wooden vine, adorned with pale gold little flowers, flower cores flowing liquid light.
