Chapter 161: The Pervert Sounds Delicious

Kerran lowered his gaze toward the silver chains wrapped around his body.

For a moment, he simply stared at them.

Borin, Lareth, and Maren did not relax.

Even though the [Heaven Locking Seal Talisman] had successfully trapped him, none of them were stupid enough to think a Golden Core rogue cultivator would be easy to kill.

Kerran slowly raised his head and smiled. "Do you know where we are?"

Borin’s expression darkened. "What?"

Kerran’s smile widened. "This place is Blood Reed Valley."

A thick blood-red mist slowly began gathering around his body.

"The air here is full of Blood Qi. The ground, the grass, the ruins... everything has been soaked in blood for years."

The silver chains trembled.

Kerran laughed softly. "If you wanted to seal me here, you should have at least brought a High-Rank Noble Grade talisman."

The three men’s expressions changed.

CRACK!

A sharp sound rang out.

The silver chains around Kerran’s arms began to split.

Lareth immediately shouted, "Attack!"

Vines burst from the ground and wrapped toward Kerran’s legs.

Maren slammed his palm down, and a thick stone wall rose behind Kerran to block his escape.

Borin roared and rushed forward with his spear.

[Iron Mountain Spear Thrust]!

His spear shot out like a heavy iron pillar, carrying enough force to shatter stone.

Kerran only grinned.

Blood Qi exploded from his body.

BOOM!

The vines shattered.

The stone wall cracked.

Kerran raised one hand and caught Borin’s spear directly.

Borin’s eyes widened. "What the!"

Kerran pulled.

Borin was dragged forward instantly.

Kerran’s knee smashed into his stomach.

BAM!

Borin coughed blood and flew backward.

Lareth’s face paled. "Damn it!"

He quickly formed several hand seals.

[Hundred Thorn Piercing Wood]!

Dozens of sharp wooden stakes shot toward Kerran from all sides.

Maren gritted his teeth and slammed both palms against the ground.

[Triple Stone Guard Wall]!

Three layers of thick earth barriers rose around himself and Lareth.

Kerran moved like a blood-red shadow.

The wooden stakes pierced only mist.

A second later, he appeared in front of Maren.

His palm struck the earth barrier.

CRACK!

All three layers shattered at once.

Maren barely had time to raise his arms before Kerran’s hand grabbed his throat. "Too weak."

Blood Qi surged.

Maren screamed as the blood inside his body was forcefully pulled out through his wounds.

"Maren!" Lareth shouted.

Kerran threw Maren aside like trash and turned toward Lareth.

Lareth’s hands trembled, but he still tried to form another seal. "You bastard! Don’t come closer!"

Kerran smiled. "Afraid already?"

Lareth’s face went pale. "Damn it... damn it!"

Borin struggled to stand, his spear shaking in his grip. "Lareth, move!"

He forced his Qi into his weapon again.

[Iron Spear Breaking Charge]!

Borin rushed forward with desperate force, but Kerran only glanced at him.

Blood mist twisted around Borin’s legs.

His movement slowed for one fatal instant.

Kerran stepped forward and kicked him in the chest.

BANG!

Borin slammed into the ground, coughing blood again.

Maren tried crawling backward, his face twisted with fear. "No... no, wait!"

Lareth’s expression collapsed. "Kerran, stop! We can talk! We were only following the mission!"

Kerran looked at him with amusement. "You were very brave a moment ago."

Lareth’s voice shook. "Please... please let us go. We’ll leave Blood Reed Valley and never come back."

Borin clenched his teeth. "Lareth... don’t beg him."

Lareth shouted back, fear finally breaking through his anger. "Shut up! I don’t want to die here!"

Maren coughed violently, blood spilling from his lips. "Please... we can give you spirit stones. Talismans. Anything."

Kerran slowly walked between them, breathing in the blood mist with a satisfied smile.

The blood flowing from their wounds gathered around his body and disappeared into his skin.

His crimson eyes gleamed brighter.

One by one, the three men fell completely.

Their trump cards, martial arts, talismans, and teamwork had all failed.

Kerran lowered his gaze toward them with a cruel smile. "Spirit stones? Talismans? Do you really think I care about those?"

Maren’s body trembled.

Lareth’s face turned deathly pale.

Borin glared up at him, still angry but clearly afraid. "You monster..."

Kerran laughed softly. "Monster? Maybe."

His eyes slowly narrowed. "Damian, huh..."

Kerran licked the blood from his fingers. "A shameless pervert surrounded by girls."

His grin became even more cruel. "Good. I think I’ll meet him next."

He looked toward the thick mist where Damian’s group had gone. "A man who spends all his years playing with women should have a very rich body."

Kerran’s tongue slowly passed over his lips. "How delicious."

---

Inside the carriage, Serina calmly poured another cup of tea while Miona sat stiffly beside Damian.

Damian, as usual, looked far too comfortable for someone hunting a Golden Core rogue cultivator.

Miona finally could not hold back anymore. "Senior Brother Damian, how long do we need to keep doing this?"

Damian lazily opened one eye. "Until I am satisfied."

Miona’s face darkened. "You bastard..."

Serina covered her mouth and laughed softly. "Senior Brother Damian, this is not a safe place. We are already deep inside Blood Reed Valley."

Miona nodded immediately. "Exactly. What if Kerran Bloodhand appears while you’re still acting like this?"

Damian slowly sat up and smiled. "Oh? Don’t worry."

Miona narrowed her eyes. "Why the hell are you smiling?"

Damian’s grin widened. "Because if he comes, I will know."

Miona clicked her tongue. "You really make everything sound annoying."

She was about to argue more, but the carriage suddenly stopped.

Outside, Draco’s lazy breathing disappeared.

The huge [Iron Drake] slowly lowered its body, its dark iron scales trembling slightly as its eyes locked onto the mist ahead.

Serina’s gentle smile faded.

Her fingers paused around the teacup, and her calm eyes slowly narrowed.

Miona instantly became serious and reached for her weapon. "Something’s wrong."

Damian’s expression also changed.

He sat up properly, and his earlier laziness vanished in an instant.

Miona glanced at him from the corner of her eye.

For the first time since entering the carriage, Damian no longer looked like a shameless young master enjoying himself.

Damian stared toward the front of the carriage and narrowed his eyes. "It seems our target has come."

Serina quietly placed the teacup down. Her expression remained calm, but the soft smile on her face had completely disappeared.

Miona gritted her teeth. "Damn it. He really came to us?"

Damian smiled faintly. "Looks like it."

Miona glared at him. "Don’t sound so happy about it."

From within the red mist, a low laugh slowly echoed.

"Hehehe... so you’re Damian."
