Chapter 158: Smoothness Is Also a Talent

The group soon began walking toward Blood Reed Valley together.

Since all of them had accepted missions related to Kerran Bloodhand, moving together was naturally safer than acting alone.

Borin walked near the front with his spear resting on his shoulder. "Since we might be fighting together, let’s explain our abilities clearly."

Lareth nodded. "Good idea."

Borin glanced back at Damian first. "You already introduced your name, but not your skills."

Damian smiled. "I am Damian, core disciple of the Heavenly Sword Sect. I use Sword Qi, movement techniques, and a little roaring."

Miona frowned. "A little roaring?"

Damian smiled mysteriously. "You’ll understand later."

Borin’s mouth twitched, but he continued, "I’m Borin from the Iron Spear Sect. I’m at the Peak Foundation Establishment Realm. I use heavy spear techniques, mainly direct attacks and defensive pressure."

He tapped the long spear on his back. "If Kerran appears, I can hold the front for a short while."

Lareth spoke next. "I’m Lareth from the Green Mountain Sect, Ninth Stage Foundation Establishment Realm. I cultivate Wood Qi and use binding vines. I can restrict movement and provide some injury support."

Maren nodded beside him. "I’m Maren, also Ninth Stage Foundation Establishment Realm. I use Earth Qi. My specialty is stone walls and defensive barriers."

Damian looked at them and nodded seriously. "Very good. One binds, one blocks, and one pokes with a spear."

Borin stared at him. "Pokes?"

Damian waved his hand. "A compliment."

Miona looked completely unconvinced.

Serina smiled gently and spoke next. "I am Serina from the Blue Mist Sect, Ninth Stage Foundation Establishment Realm. I cultivate Mist Qi. I can hide our movements, disturb enemy senses, and create illusions."

Damian’s eyes brightened. "Mist beauty. Elegant and useful."

Miona immediately said, "Don’t call my sister that."

Damian smiled. "Then should I call her useful beauty?"

Miona shook her head. "No."

Serina laughed softly. "It’s fine, Miona."

Miona clicked her tongue before introducing herself. "Miona, Blue Mist Sect, Eighth Stage Foundation Establishment Realm. I use water blades and mist needles. I’m faster than my sister in direct combat."

Damian nodded. "Sharp beauty."

Miona’s eyes narrowed. "Are you unable to talk without adding beauty?"

Damian thought about it seriously. "Usually, no."

At that moment, Lareth suddenly froze.

He looked at Damian more carefully, and his eyes widened slightly. "Wait... Damian from the Heavenly Sword Sect?"

Maren also seemed to remember something. "The new core disciple?"

Borin frowned. "You know him?"

Lareth’s expression became strange. "I heard rumors. They said Elder Selvara accepted a new core disciple recently."

Maren glanced at Damian. "A shameless young master who gives expensive gifts to beautiful women."

The group went silent.

Miona slowly turned toward Damian. "So the rumors were true."

Damian placed one hand over his chest with a proud smile. "Please don’t misunderstand."

Everyone looked at him.

Damian’s smile became even more righteous. "The rumors are incomplete."

Miona blinked.

Damian raised his chin slightly. "I am not merely a shameless young master who gives expensive gifts to beautiful women."

Borin’s expression became strange. "Then what are you?"

Damian spread his hands with complete confidence. "I am a handsome, generous, misunderstood senior brother who gives expensive gifts to beautiful women with taste, sincerity, and excellent judgment."

The group fell silent again.

Miona stared at him for several breaths before speaking flatly. "So the rumors were too gentle."

Serina covered her mouth and laughed softly.

Borin rubbed his forehead. "This mission is definitely going to be troublesome."

Damian smiled proudly. "Don’t worry. Troublesome people are often the most useful."

Maren muttered, "That does not make me feel better."

Damian ignored him and continued walking with both hands behind his back, looking as if he had just successfully defended his reputation.

---

As the group continued walking toward Blood Reed Valley, Damian’s eyes slowly shifted toward Serina and Miona again.

He quietly checked whether they had multipliers.

His gaze focused on Serina first, and the system reacted immediately.

---

[Multiplier: 100×]

---

Damian’s steps nearly stopped.

"Damn. One hundred times?"

Before his expression became too obvious, Damian quickly turned his attention toward Miona.

Another screen appeared.

---

[Multiplier: 100×]

---

This time, Damian almost laughed out loud.

"Goddamn. Both sisters have multipliers?"

The corner of his mouth twitched slightly.

"And both are one hundred times? Hehehe... good luck really is following this handsome man today."

Miona noticed his strange smile and immediately narrowed her eyes. "Why are you looking at us like that?"

Damian blinked and quickly regained his righteous expression. "Junior Sister Miona, please don’t misunderstand. I was simply thinking about battle strategy."

Miona stared at him flatly. "You were smiling."

Damian nodded. "A good strategy naturally makes a man smile."

Serina covered her mouth and laughed softly. "You really do answer everything smoothly."

Damian smiled proudly. "Thank you, Junior Sister Serina. Smoothness is also a talent."

Borin glanced back at him with a tired expression. "Can you focus on the mission?"

Damian waved his hand. "I am focusing."

Inside, however, his mind was already moving quickly.

"One hundred times each. That’s not small at all."

His eyes flickered with thought.

"Now let me think... what kind of good thing can I give them?"

Meanwhile, the other four cultivators continued walking ahead, each secretly wondering whether Damian could truly help them in this mission.

After all, he was a core disciple of the Heavenly Sword Sect. His status was real, and Elder Selvara’s name carried heavy weight.

Unfortunately, his reputation was also strange as hell.

A shameless young master who flirted with every beautiful woman he saw, gave expensive gifts like they were street snacks, and somehow acted righteous while doing it.

Whether his strength could match his confidence was still something they had yet to see.

Just as that thought appeared in their minds, a low growl suddenly echoed from the red grass ahead.

GRRRR...

Everyone stopped.

Borin’s hand moved toward his spear.

Lareth and Maren quickly gathered their Qi.

Serina’s mist began spreading faintly around her body, while Miona’s eyes sharpened.

A moment later, several blood-red beasts slowly emerged from the mist.

Borin glanced at Damian.

Miona’s lips curved slightly.

"Good," she said coldly. "Perfect timing."

Her gaze landed on Damian. "Let’s see what this pervert can actually do."
