Chapter 117: Garron Needs Sword Rizz

Garron stared at Damian for a long moment before slowly asking, "So are you saying I don’t have a chance with her?"

Damian rubbed his chin with a serious expression. "Hmm... I don’t really know."

Garron’s eyes brightened slightly.

Damian continued, "After all, I haven’t met Elder Mirena personally yet. I only know what Master told me."

Garron nodded quickly. "Right. Then?"

Damian looked at him calmly. "Then, according to what Master said, you almost don’t have a chance."

Garron’s shoulders immediately dropped.

The old blacksmith suddenly looked like someone had poured cold water over his furnace.

Damian quickly raised his hand. "But don’t worry. I already promised to help you, so I will help."

Garron’s eyes lit up again. "Really?"

Damian nodded. "Of course. But the only thing I know for sure is that Elder Mirena is a sword lover through and through."

He pointed at Garron. "So the only chance you have is simple."

Garron leaned closer. "What chance?"

Damian’s eyes became sharp. "Forge a sword so good that she falls in love with it first."

He paused, then added, "And after that, maybe she can slowly fall in love with you."

Garron froze.

For a moment, he did not speak.

Then he frowned deeply. "That sounds... actually reasonable."

Damian nodded. "Right? Romance is difficult, but swords are simple. Since she loves swords, then you need to attack her through the sword."

Garron rubbed his beard and sighed. "The problem is, her current sword is already extremely powerful."

Damian raised an eyebrow. "How powerful?"

Garron said seriously, "Top-Rank Noble Grade. Its name is [Silver Moon Severing Sword]."

Damian’s expression changed slightly. "Damn. What a great sword name."

Garron nodded heavily. "And it is not just the name. That sword is sharp, pure, stable, and perfectly suited to her sword Qi. Replacing it will not be easy."

Damian clicked his tongue. "No wonder you’re worried."

Garron sighed again. "If I give her an ordinary sword, she will probably throw it back at my face."

Damian imagined that scene for a moment.

Then he nodded seriously. "Yeah, she probably would."

Garron’s mouth twitched. "Brat, you’re supposed to comfort me."

Damian shrugged. "I’m helping you see reality."

Garron grumbled but did not argue.

Damian then smiled faintly. "Don’t worry, Elder. If I find some secret blacksmithing skill, ancient forging method, or a strong sword blueprint in the future, I will give it to you."

Garron’s eyes immediately widened. "Really?"

Damian nodded confidently. "Of course. I already said I would help you."

Garron stared at him for a moment, then suddenly laughed loudly. "Hahaha! Good! Good brat!"

Damian continued, "So what you need to do now is simple. Improve your blacksmithing, sharpen your forging talent, and teach my disciple properly."

Garron grinned and slapped his own chest. "Don’t worry. I’ll train harder, and I’ll train your disciple properly too."

His eyes burned with fighting spirit. "One day, I will forge a sword that makes Mirena unable to ignore me."

Damian nodded in satisfaction.

"Good. The old man’s motivation has returned."

Garron looked toward the furnace, his entire body suddenly full of energy.

The flames inside the Blacksmith Hall seemed to burn even brighter than before.

---

Not long after, Violetta and Vulkara walked out of Vulkara’s room.

Violetta was still holding the small dagger close to her chest, while Vulkara tried to act casual, even though her eyes were a little red.

At the same time, Damian and Elder Garron appeared from Garron’s room.

Unlike before, Elder Garron’s entire mood had changed completely.

His eyes were burning with fighting spirit, his back was straight, and his aura looked so energetic that even the nearby furnace flames seemed weaker than him.

The moment he stepped into the main smithy, Garron roared, "Everyone! Today’s training is doubled!"

The blacksmith disciples and forgers inside the hall immediately froze.

One disciple blinked. "Hall Master?"

Another almost dropped the metal tongs in his hand. "The hell? Doubled?"

Garron crossed his arms and snorted. "Why are you all frowning? Your talent is still low, your control is still sloppy, and your hammer rhythm is still ugly."

He pointed at them fiercely. "Today, I am in a very good mood, so I will teach all of you personally. Double training! Double learning! No one gets to slack off!"

For a second, the entire Blacksmith Hall was silent.

Then the forgers’ eyes slowly brightened.

"Hall Master will personally teach us?"

"Really?"

"Then double training isn’t bad!"

Their earlier fear quickly turned into excitement.

After all, getting personal lessons from Garron was not something that happened every day.

Meanwhile, Vulkara stared at Damian suspiciously. "Master, what did you do to Elder Garron? How can he suddenly become like that?"

Damian smiled mysteriously. "That is the power of love."

Vulkara narrowed her eyes.

Violetta also looked at him quietly.

Damian frowned. "Hey. What are you two thinking?"

Vulkara looked away. "Nothing."

Violetta smiled softly. "Nothing, Master."

Damian’s mouth twitched. "You brats..."

Then Damian looked at Violetta and said, "You can stay here and talk to Vulkara for a bit longer, or you can go back to the mountain peak later."

Violetta nodded softly. "Yes, Master."

Vulkara crossed her arms and looked at him. "What about you, Master?"

Damian smiled casually. "Me? I’m going to the market first."

Violetta blinked. "The market?"

Damian nodded. "Yeah. Since we’re going out tomorrow, I need to prepare a few things."

Vulkara narrowed her eyes. "Prepare things... or look for beautiful women?"

Damian immediately placed a hand on his chest. "You wound me, disciple. Do you think your master is that shallow?"

Vulkara and Violetta looked at him silently.

Damian’s mouth twitched. "Fine. Maybe a little. But I really do need to buy things."

Violetta smiled softly. "Then please be careful, Master."

Damian waved his hand. "Don’t worry. I’m only going to the market. What trouble could possibly happen there?"

Vulkara snorted. "Master, don’t say things like that. It sounds like you’re asking for trouble."

Damian paused.

Then he coughed lightly. "Good point."

After saying that, he turned and walked out of the Blacksmith Hall.

Violetta watched his back for a moment, then quietly held the dagger closer to her chest.

From the side, Garron’s roar echoed again. "Stop smiling! Pick up your hammers!"
