Chapter 116: Garron Will Die Talking

Vulkara brought Violetta deeper into the Blacksmith Hall.

Compared to the noisy entrance and the burning furnaces outside, the room Vulkara led her into was surprisingly quiet.

The moment Violetta stepped inside, she paused.

The room was actually beautiful.

It was not overly delicate or soft, but it had its own unique charm.

The walls were made of dark polished stone, several small flame crystals glowed warmly in the corners, and a large window opened toward the back of the mountain peak.

There was a clean bed, a sturdy wooden table, a weapon rack, and even a small personal furnace placed near the side.

Violetta looked around in surprise. "Junior Sister... your room is really beautiful and luxurious."

Vulkara immediately crossed her arms and grinned proudly. "Of course. I am a genius."

Violetta blinked.

Vulkara lifted her chin even higher. "Elder Garron saw my talent. Also, I am a girl staying in a hall full of rough men, so he directly built a personal room for me."

Violetta smiled softly. "I see."

Vulkara’s grin became brighter. "Not bad, right?"

"It suits you," Violetta said gently. "Warm, strong, and a little rough."

Vulkara paused, then scratched her cheek. "That sounds like praise, so I’ll accept it."

Violetta chuckled lightly.

For a moment, the room became peaceful.

But soon, Vulkara noticed the faint sadness hidden in Violetta’s eyes.

Her smile slowly faded. "Sister, why are you here with Master today?"

Violetta looked at her.

Vulkara frowned slightly. "Did Master do something to you?"

Violetta quickly shook her head. "No. No, it’s not that."

Vulkara stared at her seriously. "Then what happened?"

Violetta lowered her eyes and held her flute closer to her chest. "How do I say this..."

Her voice became softer. "Actually, I found that bastard."

Vulkara froze.

For a moment, she did not react.

Then her expression changed completely.

She knew exactly who Violetta meant.

Her eyes sharpened. "Where is that bastard?"

Violetta was silent for a breath before answering, "He is the Sect Master’s disciple."

Vulkara went silent again.

This time, the silence was heavier.

Even someone like her understood what that meant.

The Sect Master’s disciple was not someone they could touch casually.

After a while, Vulkara cursed under her breath. "Damn it."

Violetta smiled faintly, but her smile looked a little tired. "Don’t worry too much. Because of this, Grandmaster Selvara wants to transfer me to another sect, one that fits my cultivation art better."

Vulkara’s eyes widened. "Transfer?"

Violetta nodded. "Yes. Master and Grandmaster agreed. Today, I came because I wanted to say goodbye to you first."

Vulkara stared at her.

Then, without saying anything, she turned around and walked toward the weapon rack.

Violetta blinked. "Junior Sister?"

Vulkara picked up a small dagger from the rack.

It was not perfect. The blade was simple, the handle was plain, and a few parts still looked a little rough.

But it had clearly been made with care.

Vulkara walked back and directly held it out. "Take this."

Violetta looked at the dagger in surprise. "This is..."

Vulkara looked away slightly. "I know a sword is useless for you. You don’t fight like that."

Then she clicked her tongue. "So I’ll give you this dagger instead."

Violetta’s fingers trembled slightly.

Vulkara shoved it closer. "It’s my first dagger made here. Keep it as a memory."

Violetta slowly accepted the dagger with both hands.

For a moment, she could not speak.

Vulkara crossed her arms and said roughly, "Don’t look like that. It’s not some amazing weapon yet. When I become a real blacksmith, I’ll make you something much better."

Violetta lowered her head and smiled gently.

Her eyes were slightly wet, but her voice remained soft. "Thank you, Junior Sister."

Vulkara turned her face away. "Yeah, yeah. Just don’t forget me after going to that new sect."

Violetta held the dagger close to her chest. "I won’t."

Vulkara snorted. "Good."

Then, after a short pause, she muttered, "And when you become strong enough, come back."

Her eyes became sharp again. "We’ll beat that bastard together."

Violetta looked at her before smiling, warmer than before. "Yes."

---

Inside another room, Elder Garron looked at Damian and crossed his thick arms. "Alright, brat. Why did you suddenly come here?"

Damian leaned against a stone pillar and sighed lightly. "It’s about my disciple, Violetta."

Garron raised an eyebrow. "The pretty one?"

Damian nodded. "Yeah. She is going to another sect soon."

Garron’s expression changed slightly. "Another sect? Why?"

Damian shrugged. "Her talent is more suited for music, songs, dance, and that kind of cultivation path. The Heavenly Sword Sect is focused on swords, so this place isn’t good enough for her future."

He glanced toward the room where Violetta and Vulkara had gone. "Master Selvara already decided to bring her out and send her somewhere better. So today, I brought her here to say goodbye to Vulkara first."

Garron rubbed his beard and nodded slowly. "I see. Since they’re both your disciples, it’s only right."

Damian smiled faintly. "Exactly."

Then his expression suddenly became strange.

Garron noticed it and narrowed his eyes. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

Damian coughed lightly. "Actually, there is one more thing."

Garron’s eyes brightened a little. "Oh? Is it about Elder Mirena?"

Damian nodded. "Yes."

Garron immediately leaned closer, his rough face becoming serious and expectant. "So? Are you finally able to help me?"

Damian looked at him for a few seconds.

Then he said directly, "Hell no."

Garron froze.

His eyes widened. "What the hell did you just say?"

Damian pointed at him with a serious face. "I said hell no. Old man, you are crazy."

Garron stared at him like he had just heard the most insulting thing in the world. "Brat, what the hell are you talking about?"

Damian clicked his tongue. "Elder Mirena is cold, sharp-tongued, terrifying, and probably the kind of woman who can kill a man’s confidence before drawing her sword."

Garron’s mouth twitched.

Damian continued, "And you? You’re a loud, rough, hammer-swinging old furnace who thinks romance can be solved by brute force."

Garron’s beard trembled. "You bastard..."

Damian sighed deeply. "Elder Garron, I’m not saying it’s impossible."

Garron’s eyes brightened again.

Damian added calmly, "I’m saying if we do this normally, you will die before the first sentence."

Garron went silent.

For once, he could not immediately argue.
