Chapter 114: Selvara Supports Revenge Properly

Damian looked at Violetta’s conflicted expression and sighed softly.

Then he smiled. "Don’t worry too much. If you want to go, just go."

Violetta raised her head and looked at him. "Master..."

Damian waved his hand casually. "What? Why are you looking at me like that? This is good for you. If that place suits your cultivation path better, then of course you should go."

His voice became gentler. "You are my disciple. That means I should help you grow stronger, not lock you beside me just because I feel like it."

Violetta’s eyes trembled slightly.

However, inside Damian’s mind, his heart was already bleeding.

"Damn it... this hurts."

Violetta had already reached Peak Emotional Trust with him.

That meant her multiplier had doubled, and every future gift would trigger a critical reward.

In other words, Violetta was not just a treasure chest anymore.

She was a golden treasure chest with guaranteed critical hits.

Losing her by his side was a massive pain.

A huge pain.

A pain so large that Damian almost wanted to clutch his chest and cough blood.

But this was for her own good.

So even though his heart was screaming, Damian could only let her go.

"Be strong, Damian. Be a good master. A good master does not chain his precious treasure chest at home."

After hearing Damian’s words, Violetta finally nodded.

Since her master had already agreed, she had no reason to hesitate anymore.

She turned toward Selvara and bowed respectfully. "Yes, Grandmaster. Please take me out and introduce me to that place."

Selvara nodded calmly. "Good. I will take you tomorrow. Pack your things tonight."

Violetta nodded. "Yes, Grandmaster."

At that moment, Damian suddenly raised his hand. "Master, can I join?"

Selvara slowly turned her gaze toward him. "You?"

Damian nodded seriously. "Yes. She is my disciple, after all. I want to see where she will stay in the future."

His expression looked sincere and righteous.

Unfortunately, Selvara already knew him too well.

She frowned slightly. "Just say you want to flirt with the women in that place."

Damian’s mouth twitched.

"Damn. How does Master always know?"

Because honestly, she was not wrong.

A place filled with song-based cultivators probably had many beautiful women.

If there were music, songs, elegant robes, and graceful cultivators, then how could there not be beauties?

Damian coughed lightly. "Master, your misunderstanding of me is too deep."

Selvara stared at him silently.

Damian quickly added, "But yes, I am also a little curious."

Selvara sighed. "Fine then."

Damian’s eyes brightened.

But before he could celebrate, Selvara looked at Violetta and said calmly, "We will not go tomorrow. We will go later on Sunday."

Violetta blinked. "Sunday?"

Selvara nodded. "I will train your master a lot first."

Damian’s face immediately collapsed. "Master..."

Selvara glanced at him. "Do you have a problem?"

Damian lowered his head. "No..."

Violetta looked at Damian’s miserable expression and smiled softly. "Yes, Grandmaster."

Damian sighed deeply.

"Damn it. I should have kept my mouth shut."

A few days later, inside the main peak of the Heavenly Sword Sect, Nolan walked out of his courtyard with his sword at his waist.

His expression was calm, but his eyes carried a faint coldness.

Just as he was about to leave, a voice suddenly came from behind him. "Where are you going?"

Nolan stopped.

Sect Master Arven stood not far away, looking at him calmly with both hands behind his back.

Nolan turned around and cupped his hands. "Master."

His tone was respectful, but there was still a trace of impatience hidden beneath it.

Arven’s eyes moved over him slowly, from the sword at his waist to the cold look in his eyes. "I asked where you are going."

Nolan paused for a moment.

He knew there was no point lying to Arven, so he answered directly, "I plan to visit Elder Selvara."

The moment those words left his mouth, Arven’s expression immediately became flat.

"No," Arven said.

Nolan froze. "Master?"

Arven looked at him calmly. "You are not going anywhere near Selvara’s mountain peak. Also, starting today, you are under house arrest for one month."

Nolan frowned. "The hell, Master? Why?"

Arven’s eyes narrowed. "Do you not remember what happened last time?"

Nolan clenched his fists slightly.

Arven continued, "You already made Elder Selvara angry once, and I clearly told you not to provoke her again with your words."

Nolan frowned even deeper. "But I am just visiting."

Arven looked at him like he was looking at an idiot. "Do you think I don’t know you?"

Nolan went silent.

Arven sighed. "The moment you see Damian, you will not be able to hold your tongue. You will say something stupid, Damian will answer with something even more stupid, and then Selvara will draw her sword."

His voice became heavier. "And when that happens, do you want me to stop her or help her?"

Nolan’s expression stiffened.

For the first time, he had no answer.

Arven’s gaze remained cold. "So you better stay put here and calm that head of yours before you make things worse."

Nolan lowered his head, unwilling but unable to argue.

His fingers clenched slightly, but in front of Arven, he could only swallow his anger.

Arven watched him for a moment before his tone eased a little. "Besides, there is no need to rush."

Nolan slowly looked up.

Arven continued, "In three months, the Sword Tomb will open. At that time, many core disciples and talented inner disciples will enter, and Damian will most likely be among them too."

Nolan’s fingers slowly tightened around his sword hilt.

Arven looked at him seriously. "If you want to teach him a lesson, do it there. A fair contest inside the Sword Tomb is acceptable."

Then his voice turned cold. "But remember this. Do not kill him."

Nolan lowered his head. "Yes, Master."

But the cold light in his eyes did not disappear.

"Three months, Damian."

"Let’s see if Elder Selvara still protects you after everyone sees what kind of trash you really are."
