Chapter 259: If I Say It’s Not Appropriate, It’s Not Appropriate

Michael naturally didn’t answer Wendy.

She stood in the doorway for a moment, then smiled, and walked in with large strides.

Michael was lying on the bed at this time with his back to the door.

Looking at his figure, Wendy knew that Michael was really angry.

Wendy walked over and sat on the edge of the bed and put her hand on Michael’s shoulder. Before she could say anything, Michael reached out and smacked it away.

"Ah..." Wendy deliberately pretended to be in pain and said with a pained tone, "It hurts, my hand is red because you smacked it."

"Stop pretending, I didn’t even use any force." Michael indeed didn’t use much force, so he knew Wendy was doing it on purpose.

"Michael, let’s talk properly." Wendy also put away her smile and her tone became serious.

Seeing that Michael did not respond, Wendy went straight to the bed and helped him up.

Michael did not want to get up. Wendy’s little strength was not enough.

"Michael, I’m only going for three months." Wendy sighed and said, "I’ll try to get the project on track as quickly as possible and it might not be three months, but I’ll be back in two months, okay?"

"On track?" Michael said, obviously still angry, "Do you know what kind of project they’re going to do? Have you signed a contract with them yet? Have you been shown the specific project plan?"

"I..." Wendy didn’t know any of what Michael was talking about.

After a long moment of silence, Wendy sighed and said, "Michael, Mentor is my savior after all. I have to return the favor sooner or later. This time, he has come to Lake City personally. I really can not refuse again. Didn’t Mentor promise us? If the board doesn’t release me in three months, he will help me."

"If Timothy treated you as a disciple and had affection for you, he wouldn’t have pushed you again and again." Michael still couldn’t figure out why Timothy just insisted that she go back.

This matter wasn’t that simple.

"Mommy, come and see. The wedding photos are so beautiful!" Leah knocked on the door with a smile.

Wendy turned her head to look at the half-closed door and saw Lynn’s tiny figure excitedly standing at the door.

"Coming." Wendy answered Leah before smiling at Michael and saying, "Wanna go check it out?"

"What’s so great about wedding pictures when you’re leaving?" Michael’s tone became heavier and heavier.

Wendy sighed again and didn’t force Michael but went out on her own.

Several people came into the house carrying the wedding photos in.

The staff member in the lead asked with a big smile, "Where do you want to put this wedding photo?"

The staff added, "Usually this is hung above the bed so would you like us to place it for you now?"

Wendy remembered that Michael was in his bedroom, and wondered if he would be upset if they went in at this time to place the wedding photo.

As Wendy hesitated, Michael said, "Come on in."

When she heard Michael’s voice, Wendy looked back and saw him leaning against the door with his long legs folded and his expression still unhappy, but at least he had taken the initiative to talk.

That was a good sign.

"Mommy, you and daddy both look gorgeous." Lynn pointed to the wedding photo and said, "Leah is going to take such beautiful pictures too."

Wendy smiled, stroked her head, and said, "Wait a little while until Daddy and Mommy take you to take pictures together."

Last time, Michael also said he wanted to take a family photo with the two children.

The staff carefully placed the wedding photos at the head of the bed. Wendy and Michael stood at the end of the bed and watched as they were positioned little by little and finally fixed.

After hanging the wedding photos, the staff asked, "Mr. Lucas, Mrs. Lucas, do you think this is okay?"

Wendy nodded her head in satisfaction.

After so many years in marriage, they finally had a wedding photo.

However, Michael frowned and shook his head in dissatisfaction.

"Let’s hang it in another place. It’s not appropriate to hang it over the bed." Michael said.

"It’s quite good." Wendy turned her head to look at Michael and said with a tone of puzzlement, "Many people’s wedding photos are hung above the bed."

"If I say it’s not appropriate, it’s not appropriate." Michael said to the staff, "Hang it in other locations and just don’t hang it over the bed."

When Wendy heard Michael’s words, her expression became a little unsightly.

Michael was angry with her for going to Rheinsville City, so he wouldn’t even display the wedding photos?

She had obviously explained many times, so why did he have to do this?

Slightly lowering her eyes, Wendy did not speak again.

When the staff saw that Wendy and Michael had a difference of opinion, they awkwardly didn’t know whether it was better to take down the wedding photos or just leave them like that.

When Michael saw that they did not move, he said in a harsher tone, "I told you to change the location of the wedding photos. Don’t you understand?"

"We will change it immediately." The staff laughed and immediately took the photos down to ask, "Mr. Lucas, where would you like to hang them?"

"This way." Michael pointed to the left wall, where there was a large vacancy, suitable for hanging a wedding photo.

The main thing was that there was a cabinet there, so if the wedding photo were to drop, it wouldn’t hit anyone.

Although many people hang their wedding photos on the bed, Michael just stood at the end of the bed and looked at it as the wedding photo hung overhead.

The position below the wedding photo was exactly where Wendy often sleeps.

What if the wedding photo fell in the middle of the night and hit someone?

To be on the safe side, it was better to change the place where no one would come.

The staff immediately hung the wedding photo on the spot Michael designated and said, "Is this okay?"

This time, Michael nodded his head.

Wendy looked at the photo hanging on the left and there was no longer a smile on her face.

Forget it, he could do whatever he wanted.

The staff also brought a lot of other wedding photo ornaments and accessories.

In addition to the wedding photos hanging in the bedroom, Michael told them to put the rest in any place they saw fit.

After a while, the staff finished handling the wedding photos, and finally handed the wedding album to Wendy and said, "According to the requirements, we chose a total of ninety-nine photos and here is the album."

"Thank you." Wendy nodded politely.

The staff had sensed that Mr. Lucas and Mrs. Lucas were not in the right mood, and they said immediately with a smile, "Then if there is nothing else, we will leave now and wish Mr. Lucas and Mrs. Lucas a happy marriage."

After the staff left, Leah and Jake, two little ones, were each holding a photo album and flipping through it.

"Grandma, come and see Mommy and Daddy’s wedding photos. They’re so beautiful." Leah immediately handed a photo album to Mary.

There were five albums in total, and Wendy looked at Michael, who still looked heavy, smiled, picked up one and handed it to him as she said, "Don’t you want to see it?" 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

Michael actually wanted to look at it, and his eyes were fixed on the album.

The cover of the album was a picture of Michael and Wendy kissing.

When this picture was taken, Wendy was a bit bashful.
