"Really? Then I can do whatever I want?" Lin Kuang asked with a wide smile.

"Mhm," Xiao Yingzi murmured, her face flushing. She still couldn’t bring herself to look at him, her body tense and ramrod straight. It was clear how nervous she was.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang chuckled and lay down opposite her. He placed his hands on her back and pulled her into his embrace.

In an instant, Xiao Yingzi’s body trembled.

Lin Kuang couldn’t help but laugh. "Yingzi, what’s the matter? I haven’t even done anything yet. What are you so nervous about?"

"I don’t know, you big jerk," Xiao Yingzi replied irritably. She was upset that he was still teasing her at a time like this.

"You really don’t know, huh?" Lin Kuang asked with a mischievous grin as his wandering hand came to rest on her body. "Beautiful Yingzi, what’s the next step?" he asked curiously, as if he had never done this before.

"Jerk! Either get on with it or get out!" Xiao Yingzi snapped, her face crimson. She was so exasperated with him she could grind her teeth.

"Alright, then I’ll get out," Lin Kuang said with an all-too-happy smile.

"Jerk, you’re not allowed to leave!" Hearing that he was about to go, Xiao Yingzi grew anxious. She quickly flipped over, pressing him down beneath her.

"Wh-what are you doing? I’m not that kind of person! Don’t you dare try anything funny!" Lin Kuang said with feigned fear, causing Xiao Yingzi to huff in frustration.

"Jerk, if you won’t make a move, then I will!" Xiao Yingzi said, unable to hold back any longer.

The next moment, under Lin Kuang’s incredulous gaze, Xiao Yingzi took the initiative. She lowered her head, pressing her red lips against the corner of his mouth.

Am I falling into a pit of fire? Lin Kuang wondered.

Gradually, the two became entwined.

Seeing her smile, Lin Kuang kissed her lips before turning to leave. After he left, Xiao Yingzi couldn’t hold on any longer. She collapsed onto the bed and immediately fell asleep.

Lin Kuang washed up in the bathroom before returning to his own room. Someone was already there—it was Liu Shilin. A backpack was sitting on his bed.

"This backpack is full of clothes for you. If you don’t want to wash them, just throw them away and buy new ones. Remember to stay safe," Liu Shilin said with a smile when she saw him return.

Hearing her words and seeing the scene in the room, Lin Kuang was deeply moved.

"Shilin, thank you," he said tenderly, opening his arms to embrace her.

"Honestly, you. Why are you being so mushy so early in the morning?" Liu Shilin said with a touch of exasperation, but she still returned the hug, wrapping her arms around his back.

"This is a genuine expression of my feelings, not mushiness," Lin Kuang said with a grin.

"Alright, alright. I’ve prepared enough clothes for you. Guo’er is probably almost done packing too," Liu Shilin said with a smile.

"Okay, then we should be going. Take good care of yourself while we’re gone," Lin Kuang said, patting her head with a smile.

"Don’t worry, I’ll be fine here. Okay, I’m going to make breakfast now. You two should leave after that," Liu Shilin said, smiling as she stepped out of his embrace.

"Okay, go on," Lin Kuang replied with a smile.

Liu Shilin nodded and left his room.

Looking at the backpack on the bed and the set of clothes and shoes laid out for him, Lin Kuang’s heart swelled with emotion.

In this life, I will never fail any of you. I will cherish you all until the very last moment of my life! Lin Kuang vowed to himself. This was his pledge to all the women in his life.

With that thought, Lin Kuang changed into the clothes and shoes and headed to the living room.

Lin Guo’er was already changed and sitting in the living room. Next to the sofa was a travel bag, which obviously held her clothes.

"All packed?" Lin Guo’er asked with a smile as she saw him come downstairs.

"Of course. Are you ready too?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile of his own.

"Absolutely, and much faster than you," Lin Guo’er said cheerfully, clearly in a good mood. After all, this was a chance to be alone with Lin Kuang. How could she not be happy? None of the others were getting this opportunity.

"Guo’er, Lin Kuang, time to eat," Yang Ruotong called out from the kitchen with a smile.

"We’re coming, Ruotong!" Lin Kuang and Lin Guo’er replied in unison. They sat down at the dining table and started their breakfast.

Liu Shilin and Yang Ruotong also took a few bites, but neither had much of an appetite. They were both worried about the upcoming trip to America.

"Alright, Ruotong, Shilin, Guo’er and I should get going now. See you in a few days," Lin Kuang said as he stood up after finishing his meal.

Upon hearing this, Yang Ruotong and Liu Shilin reminded Lin Kuang to be careful as they walked the pair to the front door.
