Chapter 732: Chapter 733: Will Not Regret

"Shilin, how about I go with him instead? You can handle things here, and I’ll be responsible for investigating the situation over there. Besides, Lin Kuang isn’t very familiar with the situation there, and he’d be on his own."

At that moment, Lin Guo’er spoke up.

After all, Lin Guo’er is very familiar with the company’s business. It would be a huge disadvantage if someone knowledgeable didn’t go with him.

Hearing Lin Guo’er’s words, Liu Shilin couldn’t help but nod. "That’s a good idea. Lin Kuang, let Guo’er accompany you. I’ll feel more at ease with her there."

As she spoke, both Liu Shilin’s and Lin Guo’er’s gazes fell on Lin Kuang.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded. "Alright, Guo’er will come with me then."

"Okay, it’s settled then," Liu Shilin said, finalizing the personnel for the trip to America.

"Alright, tell me everything about the situation over there," Lin Kuang asked, sitting on the sofa with Xinxin in his lap.

"Yes, I just gave you a brief overview, but in my opinion, it’s not that simple. Our Yashi Company’s market share in the United States has always been excellent. Even with a behemoth like the Fan Family attacking us, it shouldn’t be collapsing this quickly. I feel like there’s something fishy going on here. When you get there, remember to investigate the senior management. I’m worried the Fan Family has bought an insider!"

By the end, Liu Shilin’s tone had become grave, and her expression turned grim.

Hearing Liu Shilin’s words, Lin Kuang nodded solemnly. "Understood. Don’t worry. Once I’m there, I’ll investigate thoroughly and get to the bottom of it."

"Well then, I’ll leave it in your hands. You two be careful," Liu Shilin said, looking at Lin Kuang and Lin Guo’er.

"Don’t worry, we’ll be fine. Why don’t you go start dinner? Guo’er and I will leave tomorrow morning," Lin Kuang said with a smile.

Since I’m heading into the Fan Family’s stronghold, I should probably do some digging. After all, they’ve gone too far.

Hearing Lin Kuang’s words, Liu Shilin nodded and went with Yang Ruotong to change their clothes and start cooking.

The atmosphere in the living room was somewhat tense. The well-behaved little Xinxin sat quietly in Lin Kuang’s arms, saying nothing, as she too seemed to sense that the atmosphere was different from usual.

"Alright, everyone, don’t worry. Guo’er and I will be fine. Yingzi, Wan’er, I need you two to protect Shilin and the others here in East Sea, understand?" Lin Kuang said with a smile.

At his words, Xiao Yingzi and Mu Wan nodded, speaking almost in unison. "Yes, we understand. You have to be careful when you get to America, too."

"Yeah, don’t worry, we’ll be careful," Lin Kuang replied with a smile.

Afterward, thanks to Lin Kuang’s reassurance, the women gradually began to relax. With the adorable little Xinxin chiming in, the atmosphere immediately became livelier and less oppressive.

Once the meal was ready, everyone sat together to eat, and the mood warmed up significantly.

After dinner, poor Lin Kuang was stuck washing the dishes when Xiao Yingzi came in again.

Seeing Xiao Yingzi arrive, Lin Kuang knew what she was there for.

"Do you really not regret this?" Lin Kuang asked seriously, looking at Xiao Yingzi standing beside him.

Hearing this, Xiao Yingzi was slightly startled before nodding firmly. "Yes, I have no regrets."

"Alright. I’ll come to your room tonight. If you change your mind, you still have time," Lin Kuang said again, looking at Xiao Yingzi’s blushing face.

Xiao Yingzi shook her head. "I won’t. I won’t regret it."

"Alright then. You said it yourself, so no backing out later," Lin Kuang reiterated.

"I definitely won’t," Xiao Yingzi said, her pretty face flushed, but her tone was incredibly firm.

"Okay. Go chat with them. I’ll handle this," Lin Kuang finally said with a smile, hearing her confirm it repeatedly.

"Oh, okay, I’ll go then," Xiao Yingzi said, her face red, before turning to leave.

Watching her go, Lin Kuang gave a wry smile and went back to washing the dishes.

After he finished cleaning up all the dishes and utensils, Lin Kuang returned to the living room.

There, the women were teasing little Xinxin. The little girl was so adorable, her presence kept the atmosphere pleasant.

"Uncle, save me! The aunties are bullying me!" Xinxin cried out as soon as she saw Lin Kuang, as if he were her lifeline.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang laughed and walked over, scooping the little girl into his arms.

"Don’t worry. As long as your uncle is here, no one can hurt you," Lin Kuang said with a smile.

"Mm-hmm, my uncle is the best!" Xinxin said, planting a big kiss on Lin Kuang’s cheek.

The other women were green with envy at the sight. They never received such treatment, yet Xinxin adored clinging to Lin Kuang. If you didn’t know better, you might think she was his biological daughter.

After all the playing, Xinxin grew tired and fell asleep in Lin Kuang’s arms. He carried her back to her room and gently placed her on the bed. Once that was done, Lin Kuang turned off the light and left the room.

By now, the women had started washing up and preparing for bed.

After everyone was finished, Lin Kuang took a shower. Afterward, wearing only a pair of boxers with his torso bare, he walked into Xiao Yingzi’s room.

After all, this was Xiao Yingzi’s first time
