Chapter 714: Chapter 715 Silent Killing
Hearing this, Lin Kuang laughed and nodded. "Good. You’re worthy of the name Blood Asura. Let’s go."
Lin Kuang replied via Sound Transmission, and the two departed, one following the other.
Inside the courtyard of this penultimate level, even more ninjas lay in ambush than before. The previous level had only four ninjas, but here there were a full eight of them. They were split into pairs, hiding in different locations and monitoring everything within the courtyard.
"I’ll take the four in the southeast. You take the four in the northwest. Any problem with that?" Glancing at Blood Asura beside him, Lin Kuang asked via Sound Transmission.
"No problem at all," Blood Asura responded via Sound Transmission.
"Alright, let’s move!"
With that, Lin Kuang’s figure shot out like lightning toward the east. He crushed the two remaining pebbles in his hand into four fragments, instantly firing two of them at the ninjas in the east. As those two were struck, he launched the other two fragments like lightning, targeting the ninjas to the south. Just as he caught the two eastern ninjas, the southern two also fell from their hiding spots. Lin Kuang sprinted over and caught their bodies, too.
He then threw all four of them into a room and squatted beside them. After frisking their bodies, he retrieved dozens of ninja darts. He hefted them in his hand, a slight smile on his face. These will be perfect for dealing with the rest of you.
With that thought, Lin Kuang took the ninja darts and left.
At the same time, Blood Asura had also taken care of the other four men.
"The final courtyard is just ahead," Lin Kuang said to Blood Asura via Sound Transmission. "Let’s each leave one alive to ask about any traps in there."
"Don’t worry, no problem," Blood Asura replied.
"Alright. But there are a lot more people in this courtyard. Looks like there are at least eighteen of them. Damn, these guys are really cautious." Lin Kuang cursed under his breath, annoyed at the number of enemies.
"Fortunately, they aren’t concentrated, so it looks like we still have a chance. However, we need to be careful of that ninja approaching the Skyline level, so he doesn’t spot us," Blood Asura said via Sound Transmission.
"Understood. Tell me, not including that ninja, how many can you take down silently?" Lin Kuang asked again via Sound Transmission.
Hearing this, Blood Asura frowned. "Eight, safely. Nine would be a bit risky."
Blood Asura was being honest. This was no time for bravado, as being overconfident could easily ruin everything.
"Alright. You take the eight on the right, and I’ll take the ten on the left. Be careful. Try to kill them in a single strike without making a sound," Lin Kuang instructed via Sound Transmission.
"Are we still keeping one alive?" Blood Asura asked via Sound Transmission.
"No need. The strongest ninja looks like a minor leader. I’ll capture him alive, and we can pry the information from his mouth," Lin Kuang replied via Sound Transmission.
"Okay, got it," Blood Asura confirmed.
Lin Kuang nodded. "Let’s move!"
He sent the command via Sound Transmission, and then he and Blood Asura rushed out. The two pushed their speed to the absolute limit; in the darkness of the night, their figures were nearly invisible to the naked eye.
However, this attempt was even more perilous than the last. Not only were there more enemies, but they couldn’t make a single sound. Any noise would lead to their discovery, which greatly increased the difficulty.
Lin Kuang struck. Two ninja darts flew out at high speed, instantly killing two ninjas. He moved swiftly to catch their bodies before they fell. Simultaneously, he scanned his surroundings with his senses and struck again. This time, he shot out four ninja darts, instantly felling four more ninjas. Lin Kuang sprang forward at top speed, catching the four bodies.

The remaining ninja seemed to sense something and whipped his head around, only to have the sharp dart pierce his throat. The instant the ninja died, the minor leader clearly sensed it and spun around warily. Just then, Lin Kuang’s lunging figure arrived.
His palm shot out, grabbing the man’s throat and viciously yanking him down from the roof beam.
"Don’t move, or I’ll kill you!" Lin Kuang communicated in a frosty tone through Sound Transmission, having subdued the minor leader.
Just then, Blood Asura arrived. He had clearly dealt with his eight ninjas as well. Seeing that Lin Kuang had killed nine men and captured one alive, Blood Asura was filled with admiration. The previous night, he had felt frustrated about his defeat, but now it didn’t seem so bad. Lin Kuang’s demonstrated strength and combat experience were clearly a cut above his own.
At this thought, Blood Asura relaxed. Perhaps following someone stronger isn’t so disgraceful after all.
Lin Kuang dragged the Japanese man to a vacant room, while Blood Asura stood guard outside, monitoring the area.
"Tell me everything you know, or I’ll kill you!" Lin Kuang said, looking at the man before him.
The Japanese man nodded but glanced downward, signaling for Lin Kuang to loosen his grip so he could speak.
Seeing this, Lin Kuang sneered and tapped several points on the man’s body. In an instant, the man collapsed to the ground, completely paralyzed. His mouth hung open, and while his lips could move, he was unable to make a sound.
"Don’t try to play tricks on me. You can’t move or speak now, but I can read lips. I’ll understand every word you say. Now tell me, how can we find your master? And where exactly are the traps here?" Lin Kuang asked coldly, his words dripping with lethal intent.
The man’s lips moved continuously. Though he made no sound, Lin Kuang understood him perfectly. "I don’t know. If you have the guts, just kill me!"
"Tsk, tsk. So, you want to suffer a bit, do you? Fine. I’ll oblige you," Lin Kuang said with a sinister grin. He then placed his palm on the man’s arm and began to apply the Bone-dislocating Hand!
Instantly, the ninja couldn’t take it anymore. His face flushed a deep red, but his body remained paralyzed, forcing him to silently endure the excruciating, drilling pain.
