Chapter 13: Chapter 13 System
"Your Holiness, I’m going to pass by the Eastern Church, so I can drop you off if you’re ready to leave," Lord Lucian spoke.
"Thank you, I’m ready to leave," Aiden spoke as he rose from the chair.
"This way," Lord Lucian spoke, walking towards the door as Aiden followed.
Soon they arrived outside the palace, and the next moment a carriage pulled up in front of them, and the door was pushed open by a knight inside the carriage.
Lord Lucian stepped inside, and Aiden also stepped inside the carriage.
The carriage was painted white with thin red lines running along the sides. A familiar white cross was on the door, and it was luxurious, certainly befitting of a lord. The inside of the carriage was spacious, with soft red seats facing each other and small curtains covering the windows.
As soon as both of them were settled in, the carriage began moving.
Lord Lucian pushed the curtains aside a little and positioned his body so his eyes were looking outside. Aiden was a little relieved because he thought they were going to be talking all the way, he couldn’t afford to slip up.
The knight on the other hand, bowed his head when Aiden stepped in, and had his eyes closed ever since, a sword lay on his legs.
’System, which of my systems is currently available? That didn’t sound right?’
[The Lust System... Also what didn’t sound right?]
’Do you have a name? I’m sure you don’t. What should I name you?’ Aiden closed his eyes as he thought of a name to give his system.
[This is the first time communicating with someone so of course I don’t have a name, but I have something in mind, how about zero?]
’Ohh, that’s nice... So did you have that at the back of your head or what?’
[This might be a long ride, so we should get something out of the way. I’m sure you have questions, I’m happy to answer them]
’I have a lot of questions but first, I’m tired and fucking hungry, I’ve just been enduring the hunger because I’m in the palace in front of the king’
[You’re going to the Eastern Church, and you’re currently the Head Priest. I’m sure there’ll be food waiting for now, and now that I think about it, you’ll definitely have an assistant, it’ll be a nice idea to start there]

’Most of the stuff here is self-explanatory, but I don’t have a title here. I think I have some in my healing system. Also, how do I level up?’
[You have two titles in your healing system; titles have specific uses, and just so you know, your healing system is pretty much overpowered. I ran through the healing system when it was up, and you literally can’t die]
’What do you mean I can’t die?’
[Unless the system glitches, and the lust system comes up, you’re almost immortal because of your skills, spells and titles.]
’So basically, when my healing system is active, I’m almost immortal, so if let’s say I’m in a battle and then the system switches, that’s game over?’
[In a sense, but I can always bypass the system and switch it back, just that the system would become more unstable, slowly leading to 100% Instability, and you know what comes next]
’So I have to avoid fighting, that’s easy, him the Head Priest, chosen by the goddess herself, I’ll remain at the church and focus on other things. ’ Aiden’s face curled into a smirk as he spoke.
[Only one problem, you’re now the only male priest, do when something like this happens again, you’ll have no choice but to join the battle, but let’s leave that aside for when the system comes up, I’ll explain to you, let’s focus on the lust system]
[You level up by sleeping with girls, the encounter stats count the number of girls and when it’s complete, you level up, leveling up increases something random, either your skill, passive skill, or your attributes]
[Also you’ve seen the hidden quest, right? But the system also has normal quests. There’s no penalty and most times the quest is easy, the reward is random though and not as interesting as hidden quests]
’As long as there’s no penalty, it’s okay’
[But normal quest have time limit, next is your skill, you’ve already seen it in action, it shows how much a person likes you, at 100% affection you can pretty much do anytphing and get away with it, it increases quickly and slowly down around 50%, from there on you’ll have to do something real memorable, also it can go into the negative so be careful]
"Your Holiness, we’ve arrived." The knight spoke just before the carriage came to a halt and Aiden opened his eyes.
"Thank you for the ride, may the goddess be with you," Aiden spoke as he stepped out, and Lord Lucian bowed his head as Aiden walked away.
The knight closed the door and the carriage continued forward and soon the church was in view, but something Aiden didn’t expect was the row of priestesses waiting for him outside the church.
