Chapter 14: Chapter 14 Eastern Church
The knight closed the door, and the carriage continued forward. Soon, the church was in view, but something Aiden didn’t expect was the row of priestesses waiting for him outside the church.
The Eastern Church wasn’t grand, but it was still an impressive building. It was built from smooth white stone, with tall glass windows on both sides and a large cross fixed at the top of the roof.
Wide stone steps led to the entrance, and since the destruction of the Head Church, it had become the largest church left in the capital and was located in the capital’s noble district.
Standing neatly on both sides of the entrance were around twenty priestesses, all dressed in black robes with white along the sleeves, looking just like nuns.
Some looked no older than eighteen, while others appeared to be in their thirties. All of them stood quietly with their hands resting on their sides in front of them.
The moment the carriage came to a stop, and Aiden stepped outside, coming into view as the carriage strode away, every priestess bowed at the same time.
"Welcome, Your Holiness," they greeted in unison.
Aiden froze for a brief moment. Even if he was now the Head Priest, he still wasn’t expecting this type of welcome, but of course, he liked it.
Aiden walked slowly towards the church entrance, carefully scanning the priestesses in front of him. All twenty of them were beautiful, but one thing was different: out of all twenty of them, only a handful of them had small tits.
Even the priestesses he saw at the palace had slightly bigger tits, making Aiden wonder if the goddess of light was purposefully choosing girls with bigger tits as her priestesses.
Aiden continued forward into the church, inside it resembled a real church auditorium with chairs arranged neatly and a raised platform in front with a wooden pulpit, behind it were huge glass windows that reflected the sunlight, giving it an otherworldly feel.
"Your Holiness, may I escort you to your chambers?" One of the priestesses asked. She was probably in her late thirties, but still, she was beautiful and one of the few with smaller breasts not poking out of her clothes.
"Of course," Aiden replied, and she walked in front with Aiden behind her.
The rest of the girls watched them walk away, with some of them making unpleasant faces as he walked away. Aiden understood what this meant; the body he currently occupied was rather young, probably around 19 or at most 20.
Aiden knew this wasn’t the age at which a priest usually becomes Head Priest, and since this was a magic world, mana and training were defining factors, but still, some of the priestesses wouldn’t be happy. The woman in front of him maintained a smile all the way.
They walked towards the raised platform, and to the side, there was a closed door which she pushed open, leading to a hallway.
The hallway was lit up by tiny crystals, placed on the ceiling, and after walking for some seconds, they arrived at the living quarters.
"These are the priestesses’ living quarters," the woman explained as she stopped for a moment to show Aiden.
The place was simple but spacious. Rooms were lined up on both sides of the hallway, with each room shared by two priestesses. At the far end was a large kitchen where meals were prepared together, while beside it was a spacious bath built for everyone to use.
The door to the bath was open, so Aiden could see that it was just a single big bath and not separate baths. His mind was already wandering elsewhere as he could see the possibilities of the bath.
A few priestesses walking through the hallway stopped what they were doing and bowed respectfully the moment they noticed Aiden bringing him out of his daydream.
"Your Holiness," They spoke, and bowed before walking away.
"The priestesses spend most of their time here whenever they aren’t praying, studying, or carrying out their duties," she explained as they continued walking.
Soon they reached another hallway on the opposite side; unlike the first one, this hallway was much shorter, and they quickly arrived at the other end.
"This area is reserved for the leading priest of the Eastern Church, due to the unfortunate incidents, Your Holiness will be staying here till the Head Church is rebuilt," She spoke as Aiden looked around.
They stepped into another large section of the church. It was much more private than the priestesses’ quarters. At the very end was a large room prepared for him, while beside it was a private bathroom, and a small kitchen to the side, so there were three rooms.
There was also an open space with a table and chairs that could be used for reading, meetings, or simply relaxing.
At the far end of the area was a modest training ground. Wooden training dummies, weapon racks, and simple exercise equipment had been placed there.
"Although priests specialize in holy magic, they still train their bodies," the priestess explained. "Many priests fight alongside the Knights during battles, so physical strength is just as important as mana."
She stopped in front of the large wooden door at the end of the hallway and smiled.
"Your Holiness, these are your chambers."
"Thank you, I really appreciate it," Aiden replied.
"It’s my pleasure, get settled in, and I’ll have one of the priestesses prepare your bath and bring you a meal," She replied as she turned around.

Aiden pushed the door open and walked inside the room. It was really spacious but practically empty, except for a bed and a wardrobe.
