Chapter 1633: Chapter 1633: Time for the First Round of Testing

"Thank you, Mom." Mia Lane flashed a sweet smile, then looked happily at the man beside her.

"Let’s go." Justin Kingston wrapped his arm around her shoulder and led her outside.

"Be careful!" Kristina Kingston advised, "Walk steadily, step by step!"

In the large courtyard, in front of the limited edition Lamborghini, Justin Kingston gallantly opened the car door for her.

Mia bent down to sit in the passenger seat, and he closed the door for her, then walked back to the driver’s seat.

Whenever Justin Kingston was with Mia, he usually drove himself. He enjoyed this private time together.

"Do you remember the medical book my uncle gave me?" Mia Lane turned her gaze towards the man’s handsome profile, "The one given to me at the welfare institute."

"Of course I remember, the one you were just reading."

"It has detailed descriptions of various silent poisoning methods and antidote formulations, all related to plants." Mia continued to explain—

"The content Ian Shelby described on the note is remarkably similar to one of the situations in the book, but I can’t be a hundred percent sure it’s that method of poisoning."

Upon hearing this, Justin Kingston seemed to see hope, "What a coincidence?"

"But there’s at least a ninety percent chance that my guess is correct." Mia Lane said, "I’ll first identify the poison and then try formulating an antidote."

Justin Kingston sighed with a smile, turning his gaze to her, "Now you’re Ian Shelby’s strongest ally. If an antidote can be swiftly developed, I can take it there; that would be a good option."

"That’s fairly easy, but finding the culprit will be much harder." Mia Lane asked softly, "Do you have a better way to find him?"

"As a prince who just returned to the palace, he is highly likely being monitored, so I haven’t directly communicated with him. In the eyes of outsiders, we’re seen as strangers, which is quite frustrating."

"Then take a phone to him, one that’s anti-surveillance." Mia Lane suggested, "Store my number in it. I think researching the drug here is much more convenient than it would be for him over there."

"Sure." Then Justin Kingston told her, Ian Shelby had gone to the flower market and bought many plants, among which were some traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, and he was over there continuously researching.

Mia Lane listened in silence, but her thoughts drifted far away, "What if the poisoning method used by the culprit matches the one described in the book exactly? If it’s the same poison, then... is it just a coincidence? Or has the culprit also read this book?"

Her words finished, she turned her gaze toward him.

Justin Kingston glanced slightly at her, meeting his wife’s gaze, and he also felt the profound fear.

Soon, the Lamborghini stopped in Ian Shelby’s villa courtyard, and the conversation came to an end.

Let’s examine it first.

They got out of the car, treading through the snow towards the living room. Along the way, Justin Kingston held her waist, ensuring her safety, "Are you cold?"

"Not at all, what about you?" She turned her gaze to him.

He said to her, "With you by my side, how could I be cold?"

Going up the steps, Justin Kingston inputted the fingerprint code, and the door opened.

They entered the living room and directly went upstairs, arriving straight at the entrance of the medicine research room full of advanced technology.

Inputting the code, the door opened, and the room instantly became brightly lit. The curtains that were originally open automatically closed, like a graceful dancer.

Justin Kingston handed a box to Mia Lane, she took it and gently placed it on the table.

Then she removed her down jacket, proficiently took an aseptic garment from the cabinet and put it on, weaving her long black hair into a simple bun, ready to start working.
