Chapter 27: The Love-Love Effect
Yeon Soohi, after getting kicked out of the house by her brother, was now trudging to the only place that would welcome her on a holiday.
Han Yohan’s place.
Yohan lived right in the next building than theirs and that was also how he came over to drink with her brother so often.
Soohi rang the doorbell of the apartment. She had come to the place so much that she didn’t even need to look up at apartment number anymore.
A clatter happened inside. Then someone yelled and click!
The door opened revealing Yohan who looked like he just woke up.
"Soohi? Yeon Soohi?" He asked more himself because he didn’t seem sure what he was seeing.
"Oppa~ Doha oppa kicked me out and now I have no where...," Soohi began her performance to might as well use this chance to get Yohan to live with him.
"Okay, you can stay here for a while. You can go back in the evening," Yohan said as if he was used to such situations.
And again, Yeon Soohi had failed to trick Yohan.
How does he see right through me?!
Yohan looked at her face.
Because it’s all written on your face in capital letters.
"Thanks, oppa," Soohi pouted, being so little disappointed.
"Come on in, what do you wanna eat?"
Soohi comes in and the door clacks close. They move to the kitchen.
"I already ate but I can’t pass on your delicious cooking, oppa!"
"Pfft!"
Yohan almost laughed out as Soohi said that.
Delicious my ass! I’m the worst person to be cooking. It’s more like an insult to the ingredients to make me cook them.
But...
He looked at Soohi’s enthusiastic eyes waiting for him to serve her.
"Well, as you wish."
And the process of creating the most inedible omelet and bread began.
Doha opened the closet door. A wave of chocolatey scent was released right into face. He sniffed as if it burned through his nose. That’s how strong it was.
And it was embarrassed kind.
"I guess someone’s finally sober," Doha crouched down beside the wardrobe right at Song-rik’s level and smiled.
"..."
"Hyung," Doha got a mischievous look on his face as he noti the red face and neck hiding in his clothes.
Song-rik couldn’t even look up at him.
"If you’re not coming out, should I join you in there?" Doha offered, teasingly.
"..." *nods shyly.
Doha blinked in surprise. Ah, there it was. The Jang Song-rik he fell in love with. Always shy but never lying about what he wanted.
Doha leaned inside the wardrobe and crawled in slowly. Song-rik crouched further into the corner to make space for Doha.
Doha was... well... quite big in size and the wardrobe wasn’t exactly large. The two of them barely fit in the wardrobe together.
Doha looked at the pile clothes that the omega was hiding.
"Do you remember everything, hyung?"
"..."
"..."
"Y... Yeah."
"Pfft!"
"D... Do ... Don’t laugh!!!"
"I was thinking of showing you the video I took if you forgot."
"Ah!! Delete that!! Please!!"
"But you’re so cute in that!"
"N... no... you’re teasing me, aren’t you? You’re so mean!!"
Doha slowly started taking away the clothes Song-rik was using to hide himself. For a moment, Doha had forgotten that this omega was completely naked.
He reached for and pulled the shirt Song-rik was using for covering his face. Song-rik tried to hold it tighter and but, in the end, he decided to let go.
Song-rik was so red on the cheeks that Doha thought he had changed colors because of the heat.
"You know what, I thought about it on our first date but... red really does suit you," Doha thought as he touched the blushing cheeks of the omega, cupping them in his hands.
"I... I can wear red more," Song-rik looked down shyly as his cheeks squished in Doha’s hands and his eyes became little under his lashes.
Doha noticed Song-rik’s eyelashes for the first time. They weren’t long. They were just beautiful like the omega. A shape he couldn’t describe but only love.
"Promise me, that you’ll wear red for me," Doha said as he focused on those eyes. "For the rest of your life."
"Aren’t you mad at me?" Song-rik asked as he looked up pleadingly.
"Never mind, I’ll make sure that you do."
Doha pecked on Song-rik’s lips. Then his nose. Then those beautifully lashed eyes. The sharp eyebrows. The red cheeks. Then the prett forehead.
I can do this for the rest of my life.
Doha looked at the face of the omega and he looked so beautiful and pretty to him that he felt like he could do anything for this person.
Leaving Jang Song-rik was no longer an option.
He won’t be teaching him to love any longer. Because he won’t need to love anyone else anymore. Doha would love him enough to make up for any lack that he might have in love.
Doha made a million promises in his heart to make this person the happiest man alive.
"Hyung," he said. "I’m going to get my high school diploma and apply for college."
Song-rik looked at him in shock.
"Yes, I’m changing myself to love you. But it’s a good change. You’re good to me. You’re the best thing that has happened to me. Even my mom says that."
Doha smiled as he put Song-rik’s bangs away.
"You’re doing me good. It’s your love-love effect that’s making me change for the better. Have some pride."
Song-rik looked plenty surprised and embarrassed and then he nodded with a face that couldn’t bound it’s happiness with in a smile.
"..."
"..."
"Doha-ya, um, can I now put my clothes on, maybe?" Song-rik asked at last after finally overcoming the embarrassment.
But Doha’s sadist nature took over him. He yanked up Song-rik’s left leg and put it on his shoulder.
"Why would you, hyung? We still haven’t finished what we were doing before."
Doha said with a mischievous smile.
Song-rik became even redder and hid his face with his hands.
"I... I mean... we can ..... but ... mom is home...," Song-rik said as he looked down at his butt touching Doha’s thigh.
Fuck! That’s so fucking hot!
Doha thought as he looked at the omega now releasing erotic pheromones despite telling him they can’t.
"You’re mean too, hyung."
