Chapter 26: An Addiction
Noona started writing to cope up with her breakup and losing her mind over the weird dreams.
At first, it seemed like a vain advice she read online. It was hard to write daily and she always felt drained and tired after writing.
She wrote just whatever that came into her mind in the beginning. But then, as she became more and more invested in the strory, she started projecting her own struggles onto the characters.
Yeon Doha was Fuckhead. Jang Song-rik was a gauge that showed Noona that things could still go worse.
Song-rik always needed to be suffering more than Noona, so that she could feel better about her own situation.
Oh Ryujin was Noona’s own reflection. The stronger self she wanted to be.
And Cha Jihwan... he was... the ideal man Noona imagined. From personality to character, Noona made Jihwan exactly to her tastes.
But there was one thing that she didn’t know...
’Once a writer, always a writer.’
Yoon Sarang became addicted to writing. If she didn’t write everyday, she would feel withdrawal symptoms similar to an addiction.
So even after transmigrating to her novel as Oh Ryujin, she couldn’t let go of her habit of writing daily.
But what would Oh Ryujin write about?
About him and Cha Jihwan, of course.
No matter how much of an imaginary character Cha Jihwan was, he was still Noona... Oh Ryujin’s idead type. So there was no way he didn’t imagine any scenarios with him.
Ryujin thought often that if the two of them started dating, who would be the bottom and who would be the top, since they were both alphas?
Ryujin didn’t mind being the bottom as he was a girl in the original world and while writing, Noona didn’t make Jihwan any lacking in that matter.
But having Jihwan cry under him was also equally tempting and feasible with Oh Ryujin’s body and pheromones.
So he decided to make them a switch couple in the smut novel he wrote about himself and Secretary Cha.
The same novel, that Cha Jihwan had read last night. Not that Oh Ryujin knew.
His fingers slightly pressed on the letter ’S’ as he wrote about the secretary getting caught while kissing the vampire.
A slight blush crept up Ryujin’s face as he wrote in detail what after that.
OR What he would do if it happened actually...
Ryujin shut his laptop after writing another whopping five Chapters of him getting it on with the secretary.
Little joys~
He stood up and looked at the time. It was almost it for going to the office.
Ryujin went to see Jihwan before he left.
He loomed over the guy beside the bed. His complexion looked a lot better now.
It’s only a matter of time before I’ve to let him go...
Ryujin adjusted the blanket onto Jihwan.
"Get used to it," he muttered. "Or you’ll free in winters."
Oh Ryujin experienced it first hand when he came into the novel and went through the first winter as Oh Ryujin. It just gets cold so easily!
Ryujin then went to work. And came back in the evening. His day was pretty boring other than the man he was holding hostage.
Ryujin asked the housekeeper about what Jihwan did all day.
The housekeeper handed him a report like an office worker, which it seemed like he was.
Ryujin read the repo as he changed his clothes.
"Woke up, ate, stared out the balcony, arranged the bed sheets, read seven books, damn seven!, ate and then now is sleeping," Ryujin left the report outside the room where he was keeping Jihwan. It was promptly dealt with.
He looked at the alpha and newborn vampire peacefully sleeping on the bed. He took a closer look on his face and then... grinned lewdly as weird fantasies fruited inside his head.
It’s best to write when your inspiration is right in front of you!
Ryujin quickly skipped away and fetched his beloved laptop.
He then landed right on the spot where he was last night. And began fantasi... writing.
He looked so focused as if he was developing some cure for a new disease. Maybe he was in his fanta... novel. Who knows a madman’s thoughts...
After thoroughly exhausting himself mentally and physically, Oh Ryujin had reached his record eleven Chapters in one sitting.
It comes out best when you’re pent up!
He tiredly gazed at the sleeping alpha. He stood up and walked over to him and laid beside him on the bed.
Honestly when Noona wrote that Jihwan’s pheromones would be rainlike, she didn’t have a clean smell in mind. So when Ryujin first saw Jihwan, he was curious how he would smell.
But Secretary Cha was so thorough in covering up his pheromones that he couldn’t even get a wiff. But after returning against his will after three years, he at least wanted to make it worthwhile for himself by sniffing him out.
He was honestly surprised.
Cha Jihwan really smelled like rain. Not a particular smell but the feeling of aniticipation and joy that rain and cloudy season bring with itself, that’s how it felt when he smelled Jihwan’s pheromones.
It was different that it resembled more of a thunderstorm approaching as Jihwan was pinned under Ryujin during this inside his car in the parking the day Ryujin abducted(?) Jihwan. They were angry pheromones.
Ryujin nuzzled closer to Jihwan and took a wiff of his nape. The same scent. It made him drowsy.
Ryujin was knocked out within two minutes.
And... Jihwan opened his eyes. He looked at the alpha sleeping beside him momentarily.
Handsome bastard...
Jihwan stood up and went to the table where the laptop rested. But it was closed today.
But Cha Jihwan was also a capable secretary that managed many such occasions where opening phones (?!) were necessary.
And he guessed the password in the second try. It was...
HWANJIN
Jihwan paused for a bit, cringing and then went right to the file he was interested in.
You see, there are few things that interest someone like Cha Jihwan. Amd he really wasn’t interested in what Oh Ryujin wrote in his dirty novel.
But... BUT....
Curiosity was killing him before he even walked down to hell.
Was it the writing style?! Or the story?! Was it really the... sex....?
He didn’t know what it was but the entire day he was dying of curiosity to know what would happen next. And now he could finally read ahead.
Cha Jihwan opened the file with sparkling eyes and began reading.
