Chapter 328: Titan’s Heart Vial [ 2 ]
At first, nothing seemed too strange. It was like drinking one of those drinks that had chunks of chocolate in them. I had no idea where the chunks in this one came from, but it didn’t matter much since they did kind of taste good.
But by the time the last chunk entered my mouth, I was surprised to see my body suddenly acting on its own. My energy activated, covering my whole body without any trouble. Not to mention, even my Telekinetic Control Field shrunk to the point where its potency increased severalfold.
I knew for a fact that if it came down to it, I would be able to survive any attack in this state. The only thing that honestly threw me off was the fact that I couldn’t actually control anything I was doing at the moment. In fact, it was like I was a passenger in my own body.
Yet Clementine didn’t really judge me. In fact, she just smiled down at me and then waved, as if realizing what I was going through. After all, she had gone through the same thing just minutes ago.
But alas, it seemed like this sensation was only the tip of the iceberg, as before I knew it, her figure turned blurry, and the consciousness I thought I had hold of vanished.
I found myself in darkness, floating aimlessly. I could still vaguely feel my senses, but it was all so very distant. The only thing that kept me going at the moment was this strange sense of connection I felt to whatever energy I had.
But... was it supposed to be this way? Glancing around, all I could see was darkness, but also distant thunder. Every now and again, lightning would strike and I would see the outline of flames in the distance.
Black flames.
Much like the flames I had absorbed back in the Titan’s Realm. Was that a coincidence? Maybe I was overthinking it...? Yeah, that must be it. The most likely explanation was that my Telekinesis produced flames and my black lightning morphed them.
Yeah...
There’s no way those flames were actually related to me, right?
Wrong.
I was very, very wrong.
With every passing moment, those flames inched closer and closer to me. Before long, they were right in front of me. Yet instead of burning me, those flames actually felt comfortable. More importantly, those flames slowly compressed and began making their way into my abdomen, automatically forming the Aura Core that Clementine had formed as well.
I was kind of curious how it looked from the outside. She had bits of her Aura fling out of her body too. It wasn’t as volatile as mine. Obviously not. But still, I really hope I’m not accidentally burning down her home or something.
That’d be... very bad.
Gulping down my uneasiness, I decided to just relax and allow the flames to do whatever they wanted. Yet in the brief moment that I closed my eyes, I managed to spot something in the distance. It was a light, a light that I hadn’t noticed earlier.
But my senses were telling me that light had existed since the moment I had entered this realm. It was just that until I got access to some Aura, I wasn’t able to feel it.
I was drawn to that light, so much so that without meaning to, I had begun inching ever so closely to it. Within just a few minutes, I was right in front of the light, staring deep into it and seeing some form of vision within.
And then came something my body did on its own.
My hand extended forward and reached for the light. Before I could stop it, it was already too late. And as expected, something I couldn’t have even imagined happened.
I felt like I was pulled through space, as after just a few brief moments, every single one of my senses returned. My ears were ringing, almost as though I had just been in the middle of an explosion. Not to mention, I felt pain all over my body.
Yet my body... it felt strange. It was very familiar. I opened my eyes and then noticed a large battlefield around me. I was in the very middle, and as it so happened, a dragon suddenly flew over me, spewing out purple flames and disintegrating every single person who was unfortunate enough to be caught up in those flames.
That wasn’t the only dragon, however. There were tens more dragons, all of which were equally as powerful. They were killing humans, from the looks of things, and every time my eyes locked with the dragons’, they gave me a subtle nod and continued.
I was very confused by this whole spectacle, but by the time I actually regained my senses and my hearing, I realized that although this body was familiar, it didn’t belong to Amon. It was a little shorter, but the muscles and the strength were far greater.
It was like the body of a Grade 80... maybe even higher.
Wait...
Since I was here, could I...?

"..."
So it wasn’t me.
Gulping yet again out of sheer shock, I looked at the name as well as the stats. It was... Gabriel Edware. According to everyone I had met so far, this was me. Except it was the Divine Beast me, before whatever happened, happened.
Glancing around, I figured that this might be the fight that led to my sealing and whatever else happened afterward.
But...
Why was I suddenly getting a memory of the past?
