Chapter 104: Convergence In The Land of Yomi
"Well, it looks like I get to kill a few birds with one stone," Akasha muttered under his breath.
With a single trip, several goals would align perfectly.
He found it quietly fascinating that he had already earned the chance to establish a second Domain so early.
Though it made logical sense — if he truly intended for his influence to cover the entire world, it would need roots both on the topside and underside.
The trio flew gracefully through the skies toward the nearest awakened ocean.
The wind whispered past them, carrying the fresh, charged scent of newly revived waters.
Luna stayed close at his left, her purple and pink hair swaying in the breeze, while Yume kept to his right with calm grace.
"Love, I must say... you never stop surprising me," Luna teased, her voice soft and affectionate.
"I thought you’d be far more reckless... yet here you are, still so careful, even with all this newfound power."
Her words flowed straight from the swirling thoughts in his mind, as he pondered how best to align himself with the situation unfolding beneath the surface.
Akasha offered a small, graceful smile, his movements fluid and composed as he drifted forward.
"Well... as you can see, I’m not entirely sure how to proceed until I can assess the true strength of these Pantheons and get a real sense of what the Underside is like.
So... I think the first step is to secure a suitable location to anchor the second Domain and start gathering reliable intel from the inside."
Luna let out a soft, knowing chuckle
. "There he is—the ever cautious one."
Yume inclined her head in quiet agreement, her cool voice gentling just for them.
"What a wise Master~"
After some time, they approached one of the many Guardian Clans stationed by the ocean.
The Amazonian-like women stood outside the shimmering waters in visible awe, their weapons lowered as they overheard fragments of the trio’s conversation.
As they drew closer, the whispers rippled through the group.
"Is this the day we finally learn what we’re meant to guard?"
"I’m not sure... we’ll have to wait for the Ancestors."
"But it has to mean something, right?"
As mentioned before... none of them truly knew where these oceans led—only that their ancient duty had been passed down through the times.
Akasha, Luna, and Yume simply flew past them with graceful ease and disappeared into the swirling portal of the Underside without a word.
Gasps and murmurs broke out immediately.
Several warriors stepped forward instinctively, eyes wide with disbelief and awe.
One older guardian gripped her spear tighter, voice low and reverent.
"They... they just walked in. Like it was nothing."
"They didn’t even hesitate," another whispered, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and excitement.
"Could they possibly... know something?"
The group stood frozen for a long moment, staring at the churning portal where the three had vanished.
As a heavy, electric tension settled over them — the weight of eras of duty suddenly feeling very real, and possibly on the verge of... something.

Elsewhere, others were also drawn to the newly opened pathways.
High above the clouds, Sunya sat elegantly on her flying carpet, long blond braid resting over her shoulder, her green jacket fluttering gently. She stared down at one of the awakened oceans with calm, calculating eyes.
’This cannot be a coincidence,’ she thought, her regal composure hiding the sharp determination burning beneath.
Knowing exactly what these oceans represented, she whispered softly to herself.
"I only hope the Celestial Sun Pantheon still stands."
With graceful resolve, she urged her carpet forward and dove straight into the portal.
-----
Not far away, Jovian Savant stood with his companions, Melissa and Jack, near another ocean.
His long flowing white hair shifted in the wind beneath his pure white blindfold. The two were trying to talk him out of entering the unknown.
"Come on, Jovian, this is reckless even for you," Melissa urged.
Jovian laughed casually, a fun-loving smile spreading across his face.
"Relax. I won’t be gone long."
Inwardly though... excitement stirred — this was exactly the kind of opportunity he had been waiting for, a chance to step away from the endless games and schemes of the Academies.
"Just make sure the Old Dean doesn’t throw a fit while I’m gone," he told them lightly before hopping into the portal with playful confidence.

BOOOOOOM!!!!!!
BOOOOOOM!!!!!
After journeying through the ocean, Akasha now drifted effortlessly in the skies of the Underside, the awakened ocean portal having carried them into what seemed like a mirrored version of Kalpa’s brilliance.
Here, the seven suns burned dim and muted, casting a somber, blood-tinged twilight over everything.
The once-lush landscapes below were drenched in darkness — vast forests twisted into shadowy silhouettes, mountains cloaked in perpetual gloom, and rivers flowing thick with dark crimson blood that carried a metallic, coppery scent on the wind.
And... this was no place for idle sightseeing.
The atmosphere pressed down with a heavy, oppressive weight that made even breathing feel deliberate.
Akasha hovered motionless, his starry wings spread wide as he took it all in.
’Hmm... are these rivers always like this... or are they stained by the war still raging?’
The thought lingered only briefly before the reality unfolded before him.
Chaos reigned in every direction.
For light years in all directions, the lands and skies were consumed by brutal, unrelenting warfare.
Dark races — Demons with burning black flames, Vampires moving like lethal shadows, and Dead Kami wreathed in necrotic energy — clashed savagely against Sun Kami radiating fading light, majestic Dragons roaring through the air, and determined Human forces fighting with desperate resolve.
Explosions of divine power lit up the darkness in violent bursts.
The screams of the dying, the clash of weapons, and the roar of unleashed abilities created a deafening, endless symphony of violence.
BOOOOOOM!!!!!
And... before Akasha could even think of his next move, a spear of pure darkness erupted from the chaos below, slamming into his back with crushing force.
Though.... It had no effect at all.
The attack simply vanished into the endless void of his Abyssal nature, leaving not even a ripple on his iridescent skin.
A slow, maddening smile crept across Akasha’s lips, graceful yet dangerously sharp, his black-and-grey slit eyes gleaming with quiet amusement.
Luna chuckled softly beside him, the sound warm and affectionate.
"Well... this is about to be a good show."
With a shared glance, both Luna and Yume stepped gracefully into the safety of his Dream Land, vanishing from the physical battlefield while remaining closely linked to him.
