Sunnie was a bit impressed with some. But Karl still having no improvement was rather expected.

"Ungrateful," she muttered as she came to kneel before them. They all sat there, staring at her as though she was an alien from outer space.

"So how are you feeling? I hope they didn’t hurt you much..?" Sunnie stared at them, carefully observing the bruises on their faces. "It must hurt.."

Sunnie stretched out her fingers to feel the bruise on Luka’s face.

Luka pulled away.

"Why did you do it?" Luka asked, staring at her. "Why did you save us? Wouldn’t you have been happier if they killed us?"

Sunnie hesitated with a sigh. "Why would I? I wouldn’t even benefit from that, so of course I have to come and save my husbands."

"Enough with the marriage excuse. I know you don’t care about that and you don’t want it either. So you could have just let us die so you can finally be free from us," Karl said.

Sunnie stared at him quietly. "Is that what you think? Too bad, I also wish I could think like that..."

Sunnie got out some of the powdered medicine she had gotten from her system on her way. "But I guess I can’t. Someone who doesn’t care about you wouldn’t walk for hours only to risk their lives to save you..." She stared at him as she spoke. "I know you might not like me, you’re mad at me for what happened to Azure, but at least appreciate my effort to make it up to you. My effort to keep you safe..."

She sighed as she added, "I understand how you all may feel; like the whole world is against you all and wants to harm you too. But I want to at least let you know that all I want is the best for you all. Even if you don’t see it now, that’s all I want."

She had a warm smile on her face as she spoke. And she was genuine with each word she said.

"So..." Sunnie sighed as she stared at Luka. "Let me help you apply this. It’ll make the pain go away."

They stared at the powder in her hand and stared at her.

Sunnie shrugged as she looked away. "Or you can apply it yourselves."

The five of them sat there, quiet. They listened and stared at Sunnie without saying anything for a while. Sunnie didn’t know what was running through their minds.

She stared at Azure who sat there at the side; his tail was still out. Sunnie scanned the bruises on his body and on his pale face. He looked really sick.

"I’m sorry for not being careful with my food.. I apologise," Sunnie gave a slight bow. "But we have to get you treated before it gets worse."

"Don’t worry, we’ll handle that. You don’t have to..." Karl explained.

"And what are you going to do?" Sunnie stared at him. "Throw yourselves into another prison?"

"....."

She sighed, staring at his glimmering tail. "He needs water to recover. And the water around isn’t so clean, so I doubt it’ll work for him."

Sunnie then said, "That’s why I’ve decided to take the goddess title here. I’ll use that opportunity and immerse him into the waters when I’m done purifying it."

"....."

"You’re not a goddess?" Luka asked.

"You can purify waters?" Eris asked.

Sunnie stared at the two of them. "Well, I guess a yes could handle the two questions. But don’t you dare run your mouths and say I’m not a goddess, else they’ll take our heads."

Karl scoffed. "No one believes you were a goddess either," he rolled his eyes.

"But you were pretty convinced the previous time..." Eris pointed out.

"Shut up," Karl snapped.

Sunnie smiled. "Whatever you say, but it was what saved your ass from being fried." She stared at Azure. "Now we have to make use of the opportunity to save him."

"And how are we supposed to trust you? I mean, the last time you tried killing him," Karl still wasn’t agreeing.

The five stared at her, seemingly agreeing.

Sunnie sighed. "Well, it’s clear that none of you have a clear solution. And for the fact that I’ve already gotten this far, isn’t it obvious that I know more?"

The five stared at each other and then at her. They had no counterargument.

Sunnie added, "So trust me. Just like I saved him the last time, I’ll save him again." She insisted.

Sunnie opened the can of powdered medicine. "Now, let me apply this..."

Sunnie approached Azure who was sitting at the side.

"What are you doing?" Karl asked, their alert eyes on Sunnie.

"Like I said, this helps take away the pain and also removes the scars the injuries could leave," she explained.

"How are we supposed to trust you with that?" Karl asked.

Eris blinked. "Remove scar..." he ran a hand through his face. One of his biggest worries while getting beaten up in prison was that his pretty face would be scarred.

"I’ll test it," he announced as they all paused and stared at him.

"You will?" Luka asked. "Aren’t you suspicious, you dumb head?"

Eris shrugged. "She’s proved she’s good at medicine the last time, so as long as this can prevent scars on my pretty face, I’m okay."

Sunnie smiled. "Okay then, let’s start with you."

The four of them sat there watching as Sunnie approached Eris.

Eris was sitting on the floor as Sunnie knelt in-between his legs. Sunnie coated the powder on her fingers while she leaned closer to apply it on his face.

Eris, on the other hand, couldn’t resist the temptation of staring at Sunnie’s boobs that were close to his face!
