Chapter 1350: Chapter 1365: The Wolf King Strikes
"Honey, you should really help Gao Ji. After all, he used to be my classmate. If this keeps up, he’ll get killed." Haihua stood by, watching Gao Ji get kicked for a long time, feeling unsettled. Girls are inherently soft-hearted, and Gao Ji had been kind to her.
"Alright, since you said something, I’ll help him out. Besides, what just happened should be enough of a lesson for him. Hopefully, he’ll act more responsibly in the future. Look at the mess he’s in now." Lin Mu nodded. Even though Gao Ji was a drinking buddy, despite being fond of showing off, a lesson was enough. No need to be too harsh—just let him understand his limits.
"Hey, you guys, stop right now." Lin Mu said lazily.
Those guys had been venting their anger on Gao Ji, and Lin Mu and his friends hadn’t really paid attention. But this shout got their attention.
The big guy leading the group turned around, and Lin Mu noticed how hideous he looked: a face full of fat, a bald head with tattoos, and a thick gold chain hanging around his neck—it was truly thick enough to tie up a dog! Most striking were the tattoos on his arms—a Cyan Dragon on the left and a White Tiger on the right!
Cyan Dragon and White Tiger glanced at Lin Mu and then at Haihua, his eyes lighting up as if displaying a greedy smile, clearly mesmerized by Haihua’s beauty.
"Haha, didn’t expect there’d be a pretty lady here." Cyan Dragon and White Tiger laughed, though the sound was downright disgusting. He then moved closer, "Little beauty, free tonight to have a drink with me?"
"Sure, I’ll drink with you right now!" Haihua said, somehow now holding a bottle, which she smashed towards Cyan Dragon and White Tiger’s head.
Bam! Then came the sound of a watermelon splitting, whoosh...
The bottle shattered directly on Cyan Dragon and White Tiger’s head, and the beer inside spilled out, quickly making him look completely disheveled.

"How’s the taste of this drink?" Haihua said with a smile.
To be honest, this guy was remarkably resilient. The same bottle that knocked Gao Ji to the ground didn’t even break this man’s head. It was clear this guy was trained, and his skills weren’t bad.
"Damn, you nasty b*tch, you need to be taught a lesson. Brothers, take care of her for me." The man touched his head, speaking to the people behind him.
As soon as he finished speaking, the guys behind him shouted and lunged towards Haihua, though they couldn’t touch her at all because Lin Mu stepped forward to block her, like an immovable mountain.
Not only was Lin Mu an impassable mountain, but he was highly mobile with incredible attack power. Facing the guys charging at him, Lin Mu swiftly struck back, punching and kicking without any hesitation—for these ruffians, there was no need for politeness.
"Ah..."
"Whoa..."
Screams rang out, as the guys were immediately knocked backwards, yes indeed, Lin Mu had sent them flying.
"Uh..." Cyan Dragon and White Tiger paused, looking at this monstrous opponent. Realizing he stood no chance against Lin Mu, he quickly turned and bolted away—the smartest move for anyone. Knowing his crew was down, he’d be next, so running was the only sane choice!
Watching the guys fleeing, the couples in the room finally sighed in relief. Clearly, they weren’t a match for those ruffians, not even on the same level. If Gao Ji was barely considered a hooligan, then Cyan Dragon and White Tiger’s group could be deemed a gang! Fortunately, Lin Mu was there tonight, or they would’ve suffered greatly.
Seeing Lin Mu in action amazed them—the force he had to send them flying was unlike any ordinary person’s strength. Thankfully, Gao Ji hadn’t tried his luck against him.
Thinking of Gao Ji, the group quickly turned their gaze to the ground, where Gao Ji lay miserably, and they rushed to help him up.
"Brother Ji, are you okay?" They said as they helped Gao Ji up.
Gao Ji, with his head covered in blood, remained silent.
"You guys, hurry and take him to the hospital. Also, tell him that if he sees me or Haihua again, he’d better steer clear. Understand?" Lin Mu said to the couple.
"Got it, got it." They responded quickly. Though neither Lin Mu nor Haihua had fought with them, the outcome was obvious, and it was Lin Mu who intervened to help. Otherwise, Gao Ji might have been beaten so badly he wouldn’t recognize his own parents!
They responded a few more times, then quickly carried Gao Ji out of the room.
This little fiasco provided Lin Mu with some amusement.
"Haihua, let’s go." Lin Mu said.
"Yes, let’s go." Haihua replied, wrapping her arm around Lin Mu’s and heading out.
Just as they stepped outside, a group of security guards, led by a bald man in a suit, approached. The bald man was clearly in charge, and he blocked Lin Mu’s path. Although the recent incident wasn’t major, it did cause quite a stir.
"Excuse me, could you both stop for a moment?" The bald man said to Lin Mu and Haihua.
"What’s up? Need something?" Lin Mu asked, looking at the bald man.
"Hello, I’m the manager here. Just checking if you two were injured during the recent events?" The bald man inquired.

"We’re fine." Lin Mu waved his hand dismissively, thinking the manager was decent to even ask if they got hurt.
"Since you weren’t injured, good. However, the staff has reported damage to the room’s facilities. As per regulations, you’ll need to compensate." The bald man said to Lin Mu.
"Damn." Lin Mu felt a pang, initially thinking the manager’s attitude and service were good for asking about injuries, but turns out, he had an agenda after all.
Of course, Lin Mu wouldn’t pay—whether the whole bar burned down, he wouldn’t compensate.
Lin Mu was used to collecting money, never paying others, regardless of their prowess. Except for one exception—Lin Mu’s woman.
Faced with his woman’s persuasions and demands, Lin Mu wouldn’t dare hold back money, unless he wanted to sleep alone.
"Heh, go ask them for compensation, why ask me?" Lin Mu said with a smile.
"The involved parties have all left, so you’re the only option." The bald man replied.
"Oh, then sorry, if they’ve left, call the police and have them arrest them." Lin Mu suggested.
"According to our knowledge, you were involved in the fight, so you’re also responsible." The bald man stated.
