Chapter 668: Chapter 626: Mutation!

On one side was the crazed Vampire Norman. On the other was Jeremy, the Werewolf, scared stiff and trembling all over.

As the momentum between them shifted, Jeremy was completely stunned by Norman’s sudden outburst. In the next moment, as Norman’s rapidly elongating fingernails pierced his clothes and embedded themselves in his flesh, the gush of his own blood finally made Jeremy realize Norman had gone insane.

But it was too late. The instant he reacted, Norman’s tusks had already sunk into his carotid artery.

Instantly, dark, blackish-red werewolf blood spurted violently from the artery, splattering all over Norman’s face.

His tusks remained clamped tight. Although Wolf Blood only served to sate a vampire’s hunger and tasted exceedingly foul, Norman, his heart filled with resentment, no longer cared. Even if he were to die at Qin Fan’s hands later, he was determined to bury Jeremy beneath his tusks first.

This line of thinking was, admittedly, pathological. The supposed grudge and betrayal between them hardly warranted such an extreme reaction, but Norman, in the throes of a mental collapse, had completely lost his mind, becoming like a rabid dog, ready to bite anyone.

"Fuck! Damn it, are you insane? Get off! Get off!"

Feeling the life draining from his body, Jeremy roared in a panic. His tusks plunged down, sinking viciously into Norman’s shoulder, while his fists, filled with the ultimate Beast Strength, relentlessly pummeled Norman’s body.

Unfortunately, Norman had become a complete mad dog. No matter how Jeremy battered him, the tusks clamped on his carotid artery refused to loosen in the slightest as he madly sucked the foul-tasting Wolf Blood.

Watching the scene, Qin Fan muttered to himself in bewilderment. Is this a case of dog-eat-dog?

HUFF!

HUFF, HUFF!

HUFF, HUFF, HUFF!

At that moment, the hunched-over werewolf leader began to let out a series of loud, puffing pants, and his bowed head slowly started to rise.

Sensing the change in the werewolf leader, Qin Fan’s eyebrows rose. His Eyes of Golden Flame suddenly flared to life as the True Qi in his body surged frantically into his eyes.

SHIING!

An imperceptible sound erupted from his eyes. In the next breath, a brilliant golden light radiating an aura of destruction burst forth, illuminating the entire quiet bar. Concentrating his energy, he swept his gaze over Jeremy and Norman, who were still tearing into each other.

The instant the golden light swept over the two men, clusters of True Fire erupted from their bodies without warning!

SIZZLE! SIZZLE! SIZZLE!

"AHHH!!!"

"AHHH!!!"

Under the indescribable heat, feeling as if their bodies had been thrown into a cauldron of lava, Jeremy and Norman simultaneously released their bites and began screaming as they rolled on the ground. Their flailing bodies desperately tried to extinguish the flames that had appeared out of nowhere, but how could One-Flavor True Fire, at its peak purity, be so easily extinguished by mere rolling?

As his frown deepened, the True Qi within him surged more violently. Qin Fan kept the gaze of his Eyes of Golden Flame fixed on the two rolling figures, and the trails of golden light ignited ever more ferocious True Fire upon them.

After they had been rolling for several dozen seconds, their horrific screams gradually subsided.

Although Qin Fan’s Eyes of Golden Flame could only produce One-Flavor True Fire, it was more than enough to deal with late-stage practitioners like Jeremy and Norman, who had yet to master their path. As members of the elite generation cultivated by the werewolf lineage and the vampire faction, they were reduced to a fine white ash under the gaze of Qin Fan’s Eyes of Golden Flame.

They could never have imagined their demise would be so sudden. It was supposed to be a simple school club challenge; who could have guessed it would escalate to this?

If he could do it over, Jeremy would never have chosen to drink blood when Qin Fan visited the Martial Arts Club. Taking it a step back, he wouldn’t have gone hunting at such a crucial and volatile time. And if he had no other way out, he would have willingly knelt before Qin Fan and admitted defeat.

But life offers no second chances. There are no do-overs.

Their underestimation and contempt cost them their lives, reducing them to nothing more than a pile of ashes. They had even dragged their entire werewolf lineage and vampire faction down with them.

Gazing at the unsightly pile of ashes, Qin Fan waved his hand, his expression unchanging.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

The wave of his hand stirred a Qi Force from his True Qi, creating a gust of wind that instantly scattered the ashes into oblivion.

"ROAR!!!!"

At the same time, the werewolf leader, who had now fully raised his head, threw it back and let out a howl.

The entire quiet bar shuddered violently from his roar. The ceiling groaned, threatening to collapse. Tables and chairs trembled violently, while bottles on the bar’s shelves rattled and clattered to the floor. Glass shattered everywhere, and spilled liquor seeped across the floorboards, filling the air with the pungent, mingled scent of alcohol. The scene was one of complete chaos, as if the bar had been struck by an earthquake.

"WOOOOOO!!!"

Amidst the tremors, the werewolf leader changed his tone and let out another powerful cry.

At his call, the hearts of the fallen werewolves, whose blood had been rapidly draining away, began to pound violently. A continuous stream of fresh blood was instantly pumped through their bodies, and the vascular wounds inflicted by Qin Fan began to heal at a visible rate.

In the blink of an eye, the werewolves, who had been at death’s door, slowly began to rise.

Simultaneously, their faces began to change rapidly. Their mouths, nasal bridges, jaws, and ears bulged and expanded, while their eyes and cheeks sank inward. Thick fur rapidly sprouted, covering bodies that had long since burst through their clothes. One by one, they hunched their backs, creating a shockingly gruesome tableau.

Previously, in their fight with Qin Fan, these werewolves had only grown in size. But now, following their leader’s transformation and his howl, they had not only been reborn from the brink of death but had also undergone a complete and startling physical mutation.

Only now, at this very moment, had they become true werewolves.

A deep growl in a language Qin Fan could not comprehend rumbled from the werewolf leader’s throat.

The next second, these monsters, now true werewolves, lunged at Qin Fan in a frenzy. Their eyes, glowing with a Green Light, were devoid of all reason. Their sharp tusks glinted with a bone-chilling light, even more terrifying than before.

"WOOOOO!"

"WOOOOO!"

"WOOOOO!"

Their unified howls instantly brought down the ceiling. Yet, the charging werewolves didn’t slow in the slightest amidst the falling debris.

They were immune to pain. They closed the distance to Qin Fan, who stood unmoving with a knit brow, in the blink of an eye.

With resounding howls, their forearms, each as thick as a grown man’s thigh, swung toward Qin Fan like a scythe through an army. They completely ignored the Prison Suppressing Light that had immobilized them just moments before.
