Chapter 669: Chapter 627: Fatal Point! (1)

BANG! BANG! BANG!

BANG! BANG! BANG!

BANG! BANG! BANG!

When the eight forearms—each as thick as an adult’s thigh—slammed into the Prison Suppressing Light, there was no longer the muffled, sucking sound of absorption. Instead, heavy thuds echoed from the azure light. Strangely, the werewolves’ attacks were no longer bound by the Prison Suppressing Light. After landing a punch, they could pull back and strike again!

The heavy bangs echoed continuously as the Prison Suppressing Light fluctuated with each impact. After three waves of Wolf Fist assaults, the light began to dim. Seeing this, Qin Fan couldn’t help but furrow his brow.

He hadn’t counterattacked immediately because he wanted to test his Prison Suppressing Body. This result, however, was completely unexpected. The Prison Suppressing Body can’t bind the transformed werewolves? It even allows them to fight with ease after their transformation?

Qin Fan was stumped. First, Orochi had been immune to his Prison Suppressing Body, and now these transformed werewolves were immune too! Damn it! What the hell is going on?

Filled with deep, unsettling confusion, Qin Fan suddenly shook his body. But this time, the motion did not enhance the fading Prison Suppressing Light. It was as if he was facing a natural predator, an enemy specifically designed to counter it!

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Another volley of lightning-fast punches came hurling in. Amidst this barrage, the Prison Suppressing Body completely dissipated. Not a single trace of the light remained.

"Hahaha! Your death is at hand! Without that protection, let’s see how you’ll defend yourself!" The werewolf leader, who had been hanging back, watched the Prison Suppressing Light on Qin Fan disappear. He let out a sinister, hair-raising laugh that rasped with his heavy Wolf Breath. Apparently afraid Qin Fan wouldn’t understand Russian, he switched to a string of fluent English.

"Is that so?" Qin Fan taunted, glancing at the werewolf leader with a wicked grin. He clasped his hands behind his back and retreated several steps before barking an order, "Staff, come!"

WHOOSH!

The Evil Spirit Zen Staff materialized from thin air, landing firmly in his raised hand. Gripping the staff, Qin Fan let out a cold chuckle and swept his gaze over the slightly stunned werewolves.

He leaped into the air, gripping the Evil Spirit Zen Staff with both hands, and fiercely smashed it down on one of the werewolf’s heads!

BANG!!!

In a flash of lightning, the sound of the staff’s bells clashing erupted as it slammed directly onto the werewolf’s skull! The blow, fueled by True Qi, cracked the werewolf’s head open, sending intersecting gouts of horrifying blood into the air. The massive creature slammed heavily to the ground. However, before much blood could even splash out, the flow stopped as the wound began to repair itself. The cracked skull healed rapidly before his very eyes. The entire process took less than five seconds, and the werewolf climbed back to its feet, completely unharmed.

Seeing this, Qin Fan’s eyes widened. These werewolves are clearly just minions, but even their self-healing ability is this powerful. What about the High Level ones? Or even the Wolf King? The mere thought sent a shiver of dread through him, and his brows furrowed tightly.

"AWOOOO!"

Throwing its head back, the werewolf that had been smashed to the ground howled. It seemed to grow even more courageous with the fight. As its howl faded, its massive body lunged forward again.

In an instant, the eight werewolves surrounded Qin Fan from all sides. Their hill-sized bodies formed an encirclement so tight it seemed airtight. The scene was a live-action spectacle of eight King Kong-sized giants closing in on their prey.

They gave Qin Fan no time to react. Once the encirclement was formed, the eight werewolves—whose intelligence seemed to grow with their size—unleashed a storm of fists, feet, palms, and claws, blocking every possible escape route.

Facing the inescapable, crisscrossing onslaught, Qin Fan calmly closed his eyes. There are a thousand ways to break this encirclement; the simplest would be to just blast my way out. But I won’t do that. ’Know yourself and know your enemy, and you will win a hundred battles.’ Right now, I’m only facing common minions. After this, there’s still a leader, and beyond him, who knows how many more in the werewolf den, not to mention the supreme Wolf King. I know almost nothing about werewolves, so I have to seize this chance to find their fatal weakness! Otherwise, this is all just a waste of effort. I have the devastating Eyes of Golden Flame, but they consume too much focus and True Qi. Facing these werewolves, who are clearly much stronger than Jeremy, it would be foolish to use them.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!

As the full force of the eight werewolves’ attacks landed on the unmoving Qin Fan, his Prison Suppressing Body flared up in a spontaneous defense. Even so, he couldn’t stop his brow from twitching as he let out a soft grunt. Though these minion-level werewolves couldn’t truly injure him, the unrestrained, eight-fold barrage of their Beast Strength still managed to rattle his physical form.

As their volley of attacks subsided, Qin Fan’s eyes snapped open, radiating a golden light. Though his gaze held no aggression, it swept over the eight werewolves and saw straight through them.

Hmm? The vital point is the heart?

As he observed the werewolves’ internal structures, now perfectly clear under his Eyes of Golden Flame, Qin Fan muttered to himself. Among their bones and organs, which were countless times tougher than those of an ordinary Martial Artist, only the heart looked strange. It was incredibly vigorous, beating hundreds of times per second. It also appeared to be heavily encased in a thick layer of tough cardiac muscle—clearly an extra layer of protection for their vital point.

At this, Qin Fan smiled. It was a chillingly cruel and predatory grin. Those who knew him well knew this smile often signified impending destruction.

With that cold smirk still on his face, Qin Fan angrily shot out his hand, fingers clawed, and grabbed fiercely onto a werewolf’s face. He flipped his staff, and its butt shot out with the speed of lightning, precisely stabbing toward the center of the werewolf’s heart!

Infused with True Qi, the Zen Staff was unstoppable, plunging deep into the werewolf’s seemingly indestructible body.

SQUELCH!!!

In the blink of an eye, the werewolf’s eyes bulged wide. Before it could even react, the Zen Staff had pierced clean through its hill-like body.

"Explode!" he commanded, a cold smirk playing on his lips.

Qin Fan released his grip on the Zen Staff and, channeling his True Qi, smote the staff’s shaft with immense force.

BOOM!

An explosive sound erupted from within the werewolf. A gush of dark, almost black blood burst from its mouth. Before the dark blood could hit the ground, the Evil Spirit Zen Staff acted like a vacuum, absorbing every last drop. In an instant, the staff’s already dusky luster deepened, growing even darker.

Wasting no more time, Qin Fan deftly withdrew the Evil Spirit Zen Staff. Without even looking, guided by his preternaturally sharp Divine Sense, he stabbed out again with a backhanded strike.
