Chapter 833: Three Slave Masters.
In their black cocoons, the devouring force field was tearing away at their bodies with a power of 9(Cultivation Rank) × 9(Mind) × 8(Fenrir), which is 648 units of divine power.
This level of power is very weak and pitiful for a divine being. But compared to the power of a mortal, it is overwhelming. After all, one unit of divine power is easily 1,000,000 units of power for mortals. So, even though he can’t use the power of his Cave Heaven right now, he can still crush a mortal easily.
In comparison, the best power that Forced Exchange and Money Speed can summon is 6(Cultivation Rank) × 6(Stat) × 6(Divine Metac), which is 216 units of divine power. This is why he can subdue the two of them so easily.
Clearly, he had been pretending to be weak when he allowed Money Speed to tackle him to the ground. He had done that so that Forced Exchange wouldn’t be scared away. Once Forced Exchange got close enough, he unleashed the power of the Devouring Ability on them.
He is a rank 9 being, but he is weaker than most divine beings. This is because he doesn’t have a lot of Divine Metacs to use, his Cave Heaven is not as big as it should be, and the amplification from his law fragments is subpar.
But after he entered the second heaven, the power of his Cave Heaven and the amplification of his law fragments became mute. So these two weaknesses disappeared.
It is why he was able to easily defeat two divine beings who had a bigger Cave Heaven and a higher amplification from their law fragments than he did. If they had fought anywhere else, they would have surely defeated him.
The only problem is that without the amplification of the law fragments from his Cave Heaven, the rate at which he was devouring their lifespan is slower than usual. So they will leave a long, painful life before they run out of lifespan and die.
Now, his only weakness is not having enough Divine Metacs. He already has a plan to fix this.
The two bound captives were cursing and struggling within the cocoon of darkness. Loki had a feeling that they were not happy with their situation. This made him angry because he wasn’t happy with this situation either.
He kicked Forced Exchange in the face through the cocoon and said, "Shut up. Do you think I wanted to meet you two useless fools?"
He wanted targets that he could kill and rob of their Divine Metacs when he came in this direction. Unfortunately, he ran into two fellows who wouldn’t give him what he wanted even if he killed them.
So he was unsatisfied with this situation. But for some reason, Forced Exchange and Money Speed believe that they are the ones suffering. This made him angry, so he kicked them again and again to vent.
Fortunately, he ran into someone better. In fact, it was a group of people. They were cultivators from the Four Directions Sect. The three of them were enslavement cultivators, and they didn’t belong to an alliance.
They had come to it with hopes of catching and enslaving the dragon. So when they saw him, they were very excited. The looks of joy on their faces were exactly the same as those Forced Exchange and Money Speed had a few seconds ago.
When he saw the smile on their faces, he also smiled. The smiles of both parties made it look as if the two parties were cordial with each other. But in reality, they were predator and prey.
As for who was the prey and who was the predator, that was something that power could easily determine. Since both parties were quick to attack each other, the identity of predator and prey would be determined very quickly.
The three of them were Wood Tyrant, Crane Master, and Wolf Emperor. All three came riding their enslaved divine beasts.
Monarch Wood Tyrant was riding a humanoid tree. This tree was a tall oak tree that could walk across the ground with wooden stumps for feet. It also had many arms formed with its branches that it could use to tear foes apart.
Monarch Crane Master was on the back of a yellow crane. This crane was large enough to cover a house with its wind span. But what made it even more dangerous was its ability to manipulate the wind with its wings and create wind blades with its talons.
Monarch Wolf Tyrant was riding a giant black wolf. His enslaved beast was a beast as tall as a house, but it was the smallest of the three. However, he made up for the difference in size with quantity.
Apart from the giant wolf that he was sitting on, there were four other wolves. These four wolves flanked him with two on both sides. So he had five giant wolves in total.
Because of their identity as enslavement cultivators, these three weren’t actually three enemies. The three of them actually represented 10 enemies. This was because of the seven enslaved divine beasts that they brought with them.
These enslaved divine beasts are like divine artifacts, so they are weaker than divine beings of the same rank. But with the amplification of their masters, they can easily become stronger than a divine being of the same rank due to the combination of the power of their masters with their own power.
If they enslave a dragon, they would convert the dragon into a wood dragon, a crane dragon, or a wolf dragon. And since the dragon is more powerful than a divine being of the same rank, their power will increase compared to enslaving divine beasts.
This is the benefit they stand to gain if they decide not to kill the dragon and eat its heart. In order to achieve this, the three of them spurred on their divine beasts to approach the dragon.
