"Isn’t it because of your unbending ability of attracting troubles over to yourself like a magnet?" Daisy jutted her chin upwards.
’’Me? What did I do?" Ryle’s lips twitched, ’’I can tell you this loud and clear. If you are being jealous of me talking to other men as well, then you should remember very well that I am completely straight.’’

He leaned in towards her, his lips grazing her ear as he spoke in a softer voice, ’’The weakness in your legs is the evidence.’’

’’Shut up,’’ Daisy pressed her palm on his chest and pushed him back gently.
’’How did he offend you?" Ryle asked, chuckling.
At his question, Daisy looked in the direction Caleb had left in before she glanced at Ryle, ’’He...’’
’’Boss, we have a news...’’ Benjamin rushed in, the urgency in his voice drowning the words that Daisy was about to say.
’’What is it?" Ryle did not turn to look at the man, slightly miffed at the interruption.
In his mind, he was already planning to draft a set of rules for his men, clearly highlighting that unless the world was falling apart or they were hanging on their last breath with no rescue in sight, they should not interrupt his time with Daisy and Angel.
Why was it like this that all their important news came whenever he was with his pair of big and little sweethearts? Could they be any more annoying?
Apparently, they could be.
Even after Ryle spoke, Benjamin stood there wordlessly, simply panting and stuttering like a mess without having any intentions to elaborate on what was happening.
Ryle turned around only to find him sneaking glances at Daisy and his lips curled down.
Before he could say a word, however, Daisy spoke up, ’’You guys can talk. I will be in my office,’’ she said to Ryle.
Benjamin smiled and nodded, relieved.
Ryle was about to say something when she grabbed his arm, tugged him down and kissed him on his cheek, unbothered by the horde of people who nearly dropped to their knees at the sight of their demoness CEO asserting her rights on her man.
’’Find me after you finish discussing the things,’’ Daisy whispered in his ear.
’Thump thump thump’
Finish what? Discuss what?
Ryle wanted to drop everything and flutter after her right there and then.
They had done everything but just the simple act of kissing his cheek in public by her made his heart race, almost as if she was staking her claim on him like this.
Clueless to his thoughts, Daisy turned to Secretary Han who had just arrived at the scene, attracted by the chaos, ’’Lead them to a private area.’’
’’Yes, President.’’

’’You do realize that you are not supposed to behave as if she is an outsider, right?" Ryle turned to Benjamin the moment Secretary Han led them to a more private space, locked the door.
Not to mention the fact that Daisy was a part of the organization in the past and she was in on every secret of theirs, but she was his girlfriend now. And no matter what, be it when she had disguised herself as Dexter and was playing his secretary or now when she was Daisy, Ryle never had any intention of hiding anything from her.
’’B-Boss...’’ Benjamin almost kneeled over when Ryle approached him with that fierce glint in his eyes, ’’This... didn’t you tell me?"
’’I told you to keep secrets from my girl? Do you want her to misunderstand me and think that I am keeping things from her? You, Benjamin, you don’t come across as it but you are a sly one, aren’t you?" Ryle’s voice dipped, ’’You are jealous of my happiness and you want her to abandon me so I end up alone, is that it?"
Benjamin’s jaw dropped. Him? J-jealous? What in the world?
’’B-Boss...’’ He found his voice with utmost difficulty, ’’It is not like that. This matter has something to do with what you had asked me to look into. You told me we were keeping it under wraps. It is... about Si Yena.’’
The room sunk into silence and Benjamin could hear the sound of his own breathing.
Hesitantly, he tilted his chin and glanced at Ryle. Seeing the faint frown on his face, he gulped and continued, ’’But I do understand your point and I will fix it. I can go to Miss Chen now and tell her about this matter.’’
Ryle’s eyes narrowed.

Benjamin nearly fell on his butt. What now?
"What, you can’t tolerate that we are getting along well?" Ryle looked at the man suspiciously, ’’You don’t have a life of your own and you cannot help but be jealous of people who have it?"
Boss! Benjamin wanted to scream. Sob Sob! Can you not be so personal? Is my soul something you can trample on as you wish?
"You just want to sabotage our relationship by mentioning that woman and triggering my Daze’s unpleasant memories, don’t you?"

Boss, I don’t know about your Daze but I am here going in a daze. Can you stop acting like a woman in her luteal phase? Must you do this to me?
"N-No...’’ Under Ryle’s pressing gaze, Benjamin uttered, slowly, calmly and calculatingly, ’’Boss, Miss Chen is too much into you to be affected by such trivial matters or people. Whether you tell her about it or not is all the same to her as long as you are doing good.’’
Benjamin held his breath by the end of his sentence and waited.
He did not have to wait for long as the glacier melted and a warm smile formed on Ryle’s face.
’’Now that you say it, I feel the same. She is just too much into me.’’

’’Yes... Yes... Yes...’’ Benjamin nodded blindly, ’’So, Boss, about Si Yena...’’
’’Did you find that woman?"
Benjamin went silent, his face tensing as he nodded.
