Chapter 199: Chapter 199: Fighting Is Forbidden
The air inside the small, dim bedding was hot and ambiguous.
Wen Shu pressed against Yining’s lips, biting lightly with a mischievous thought, only to feel the person in front of her, his breathing suddenly becoming a few degrees heavier.
The pair of pale eyes close at hand were tinted with a deep darkness, and a heavy kiss fell.
The large hand, covered in thin calluses at the waist, also became increasingly hot with the urgent movements, until it fell unhindred onto her delicate skin.
"Mm..."
The sensitive lips felt a tingling itch between the rubbing and crushing, unexpectedly, lightly knocking against the teeth.
"Ashu, not yet..."
The stinging sensation called back Yining’s rationality. He restrained his breaths and gently pressed his palm against Wen Shu’s lower abdomen.
Lowering his gaze, he saw her eyes looking dazed, the sweat-soaked Adam’s apple rolling a few times, his body almost bursting with heat.
The kiss stopped abruptly, and Wen Shu, still in a daze, before she could understand the situation, the bedding was gently lifted, brightening her view.
Yining awkwardly got out of bed, thoughtfully tucked in the bedding, and hoarsely said, "I, I’ll take a shower..."
"Hmm?"
...
The next morning.
Wen Shu, with dark circles under her eyes, crawled out of the bedding, glanced at the scattered clothes on the floor, and rubbed her temples while washing up.
All that was in her mind were Yining’s long, pale fingers.
She did enjoy it, but that’s it, no further steps were taken.
He clearly was uncomfortable holding back himself, ended up pulling up his pants and went into the bathroom, then came out to lie next to her for a few seconds, and directly left... left!
She understood Yining’s concerns, but it was really uncomfortable being stuck in the middle.
"Sigh..."
Wen Shu patted her face, trying to perk herself up a bit. Yining still had to take her out; it was her first date, and not expecting anything was impossible!
Thinking so, she pinned up her long hair, put on a soft ankle-length dress, and walked lightly towards the dining room.
From several meters away, she saw the busy figures of the males.
She quickly ran over to help, just taking the plate from Wu Xuan’s hand, she noticed his heavily swollen cheekbones and was stunned.
"Wu Xuan, how come..."
Wen Shu murmured, her gaze sweeping over to the others.
She found out that not only Wu Xuan got beaten, but Luo Fei, Mious, and even Nan weren’t spared.
However, the most severely injured was Rah, his handsome face swollen high, looking just like that widely circulated bee dog from the age of the internet.
Seeing her looking at him, Rah felt ashamed and silently turned his face, trying to use the chair back to shield himself.
Wen Shu had an inkling of the reason, these punches were really heavy, specifically targeting the face.
Noticing her silence, Nan, the least injured, with two symmetrical black eyes, pulled her to sit on a chair, "Ashu, come have breakfast."
Wen Shu held her breath, not daring to look at him, these small injuries to the males were like scratching an itch, but the damage was permanent... to her!
She would never forget their current appearance today.
"Hmm."
Wen Shu tightened her trembling lips, scooped a spoonful of soup, and before it could reach her mouth, she spilled it all.
Luo Fei sat directly across from her, seeing that she was about to cry, grumbled, "Ashu, if you want to laugh, just laugh."
He hadn’t said anything, but once he did, Wen Shu saw him covering his swollen cheek, looking pitiful, and she couldn’t hold back anymore.
"Pfft..."
She let out a laugh, then felt it was inappropriate, bit her lip hard, and whispered, "I, I haven’t recovered yet, you might have to stay like this for a few days."
Opposite, Luo Fei looked dejected, Wen Shu stopped her laughter, looked at Rah. He was indeed injured yesterday, his broad body shrunk behind the chair back, making him look pitiful.
She held her food, placed her palm on the chair back, and looked at him from the side, "Rah, are you okay, how’s the injury? The female next door seems to have a healing system, should I take you there?"
Hearing her gentle voice softly speaking by his ear, Rah raised his head, covering his face.
Looking closely, the blue-purple bruises on his face were much more serious than the others, even the lip corners were slightly split.
"I... hiss."
He opened his lips, grimacing with pain, his deep blue eyes reflecting her face, the hostility around him quietly dispersed a bit.
"I don’t like being touched by other females..."
Seeing Wen Shu stunned, a hint of amusement flashed in his eyes, lightly hooking her soft pinky, the rough pad causing a slight tingling itch.
"Except you."
The sneaky confession halted the clattering sounds in the restaurant.
The males all turned to look at them in unison, Luo Fei’s gaze particularly unfriendly, seeing the two eye to eye, Wen Shu’s gaze also blurred.
Ignoring his own face, pulling Wen Shu behind him, "Rah, you hit the hardest, what big pretentious show are you putting on here!"
What he said is true, concerning the males’ dignity, they didn’t use superpower last night.
But this guy, learning some sly tricks from somewhere, hitting without leaving a mark, even now the ribs still hurt faintly!
But Wen Shu didn’t know this, her sleeve was tugged by Rah.
She lowered her gaze, glancing at him, although Rah might be feigning misery, her intuition said it was Luo Fei and the others who stirred up trouble.
"From now on, no bullying, or you’ll be banned from the room for a month."
She brushed off Rah’s hand, seeing Luo Fei’s unpleasant expression, felt the words were harsh, but she needed to establish rules, lest the house remain chaotic.
Seeing no sign of her relenting, Luo Fei gave Rah a cold look, grabbed Wen Shu, bit her lip, and sulkily said, "Got it."
He returned to his seat, eating sullenly, looking obviously dissatisfied, his thoughts equally unwilling.
He didn’t want a house full of males vying for favor, even if Wen Shu prohibited fights, he still had other ways...
Wen Shu didn’t know what he was plotting, thinking he had understood, she also returned to sit beside Nan.
After breakfast, Mious went back to work, the others went out to tend to the small vegetable garden, and until noon, Yining still hadn’t shown up.
Wen Shu, feeling bored, played with the cub in Wu Xuan’s arms, feeling a bit sleepy.
Just then, Yining’s clear and pleasant voice came from outside the castle, "Ashu, let’s go."
As the light shifted at the door, a tall and upright figure slowly entered.
Yining, dressed in a sleek, pure white suit, highlighted his long limbs, broad shoulders, and narrow waist, his hair styled neatly, casually and smoothly hanging down.
From afar, with a bouquet of white flowers in hand, he looked just like a handsome groom about to attend a wedding.
"Ashu, let’s go."
He stood in front of Wen Shu, slightly bent down, offering the bouquet.
The fresh and clean scent wafted into her nose, Wen Shu looked at his face, seeing his playful smile, she blushingly came back to her senses, "Hmm."
She lowered her head, sniffed the fragrant bouquet, and looked at Wu Xuan, "We’re going out for a bit, probably..."
Yining’s smile widened, following her words to add, "Tomorrow evening, we’ll be back by tomorrow evening."
The two of them, both with striking looks, wore light white elegant clothes, standing side by side, looking perfectly matched.
Wu Xuan’s hands, holding the cub, stiffened, yet his face remained unchanged, reminding, "Be safe, do you want dinner prepared?"
Noticing his subtle difference, Yining hesitated for a moment, wrapped his arm around Wen Shu’s shoulders, silently blocking her view.
"No need."
With a slightly apologetic expression, he exchanged a glance with Wu Xuan.
Everyone noticed Wu Xuan’s feelings for Wen Shu, sometimes he even felt that if Wu Xuan wanted to monopolize her, just a word, and Wen Shu would comply.
In love, everyone is selfish, and he is no exception.
"Let’s go."
Seeing the two leave, Wu Xuan’s golden eyes brimmed with deep loss, making even breathing feel difficult.
He blinked, lowered his gaze to the cub, looking into the dark eyes reminiscent of Wen Shu and Yini, raised his hand to wipe the wet corner of his eye.
Outside the castle, Wen Shu followed closely behind Yining’s steps, unaware of the slight ripple between the two.
Leaving Yudong City, Yining transformed into a lynx, taking her all the way towards the coast.
