Chapter 200: Chapter 200: Outing
The sunset spilled over the ocean like molten gold.
A perfectly crafted, two-story sailboat unfurled its dove-like white sails and slowly left the coast.
The slightly salty sea breeze brushed past her face, and Wen Shu tucked her long hair behind her ear, quietly gazing at the rippling ocean surface.
Unlike the past darkness, the purified sea was a turquoise blue, with a few colorful jellyfish or schools of fish faintly visible.
Just as she was entranced, a warm, solid chest pressed against her back, and a distinctly jointed hand gently covered her eyes.
"Ashu, dinner’s ready."
In the inky darkness, Wen Shu couldn’t see the way, following Yining’s steps, she slowly moved toward the dining table.
Since they boarded the boat, Yining had been mysteriously arranging her activities, not allowing her to help in the kitchen or even enter the cabin.
Curiosity piqued, she sat down by the table, hearing the bubbling sound of water, she couldn’t help but ask, "What is it?"
A smooth, delicate cheek pressed against hers, Yining chuckled softly, his warm breath teasing her hair, "Ashu, open your mouth."
Wen Shu blinked and obediently opened her lips, expecting food, but found a thin tube placed between her lips instead.
She lightly sucked in, and the rich milk aroma combined with soft, chewy balls filled her long-dulled taste buds.
This taste!
Before she could finish her surprise, Yining released his hand from her eyes, revealing the table lit by a few dimly glowing Glazed Lamps, and a vase in the corner with a beautiful flower branch.
In the center of the round table was a bubbling iron yin-yang pot, surrounded by various slices of meat and vegetables.
Wen Shu’s eyes lit up, not expecting Yining would prepare this.
In her past life, she craved this dish the most, but since the apocalypse, there hadn’t been much free time or the right ingredients and she hadn’t eaten it since.
Almost as if reading her mind, Yining sat beside her, placed several pieces of meat into the pot, "I’ve been working on the flavor, try and see if you like it."
A slender hand, holding a Glazed Plate, brought the cooled food to Wen Shu’s lips.
Rich aromas filled her nostrils, she bit into it and felt her taste buds blossom, though it wasn’t spicy, the flavor was astoundingly delightful.
In the flavor-deprived Beast World, creating such a familiar taste must have taken a long time.
No wonder Yining had been so mysterious lately.
Wen Shu chewed carefully, touched by the thoughtfulness, turning to meet Yining’s anxious gaze, she praised without hesitation, "It’s delicious, even better than what I’ve eaten before!"
Yining’s eyes curved into crescents, smiling with pressed lips, "In the future, I’ll make it for you often."
After dinner, night quietly descended.
Wen Shu was digesting on the deck, and as she approached the cabin door, she saw Yining tensely speaking to the air.
She quietly moved closer, and at that moment he looked up, their eyes met, Yining’s brows arched as he walked toward the deck.
"Ashu, come with me."
Her hand was firmly held, the hem of white clothes fluttered in the moonlight.
His handsome profile was touched with a smile, leading her into the pitch-black cabin at the top of the boat.
Wen Shu couldn’t see clearly, clutching the hand in her palm tightly.
Noticing her unease, Yining’s chest pressed against her slender, soft back, covering her protectively, "Don’t be afraid."
As he spoke, he spread his legs and let Wen Shu sink into a soft chair, taking a darkly glowing wooden box from his sleeve, his finger gently twisted a small pillar next to the armrest.
With his move, the once dark cabin was instantly flooded with white light, Wen Shu looked up and realized that the cabin roof had opened a skylight.
With just a slight lift of her gaze, she could see a sky filled with stars and a bright, luminous crescent moon.
Silvery moonlight poured down, and before she could react, something soft slid down the side of her face, countless snow-white petals falling silently.
Lowering her view, she met Yining’s seemingly smiling eyes.
His hair was peppered with petals, his deep gaze fixed on her, he stood up and slowly bent down, kneeling on one knee before her.
"Yining, you are..."
The scene was all too familiar.
Sure enough, Yining gracefully lifted the wooden box, his light eyes filled with tension, "Ashu, will you become my partner?"
The wooden box slowly opened, revealing a ring set with a light brown gemstone on red velvet, emitting a soft glow in the moonlight.
The solemn atmosphere made Wen Shu feel a tad nervous.
Is this a proposal...
Seeing her silence, Yining’s anxious heart beat heavily a few times, he held his breath, softly calling, "Ashu?"
He told himself that a female had the right to refuse, but deep down flowed a rich unease, yet last night’s kiss filled him with hope.
Two tugging threads of thoughts collided in his mind.
Yining gripped the wooden box, his fingertips aching, but just as he was about to indulge in wild thoughts, a tender fair hand covered the back of his hand.
His pupils trembled, his chin slightly raised, before he could speak, a warm touch lightly pressed on his lips.
Soft glowing eyes hovered before him, rich fragrance along with her words brushed across his face, "Yes."
Yining was stunned for two seconds, the snow-white face withdrew, and with a bright smile, she extended her hand, "Yining, aren’t you going to put it on for me?"
He held his breath, joy flickered through his eyes, seemingly calm as he took her hand, but Wen Shu could feel his fingertips slightly quivering.
A cold sensation slipped onto her finger, Yining slowly stood up.
With brows and eyes overflowing with warmth, his tall figure slowly leaned down, wanting to kiss her but stopped beside her face, whispering, "Ashu, do you want cubs?"
Wen Shu didn’t understand his intent, but recalling that day’s delivery, she shook her head unconsciously.
Afterward, it seemed Yining swallowed something.
Wen Shu was momentarily stunned, but before she could react, his fresh scent softly descended.
In the cabin, the temperature gradually rose.
Yining’s kisses were gentle and restrained, Wen Shu seemed to be infected by them too.
As her back sunk into a bed filled with floral scents, her heart seemed to float on soft clouds, rising and falling with his breaths...
"Ashu, open your mouth..."
A hoarse, muddled voice slid in close to her ear.
Similar words, yet with an entirely different meaning.
Her chin was gently pinched, Wen Shu dizzily opened her eyes, meeting Yining’s gaze of restrained desire, she inexplicably complied.
Her lips slightly parted, and Yining’s breath tightened, his fingerpad sank into a humid softness.
His pupils darkened, his actions gentle as he bowed his head, yet the strength was assertive and irresistible...
...
Clothes scattered.
The firm, full chest before her tensed with movement.
"Ashu, if you don’t like it... you have to tell me..."
A drop of hot sweat fell from Yining’s neck, trickling wet trails over his smoothly muscled abs.
Her waist was gripped tightly, the body almost ready to fly away.
Hearing his raspy inquiry, Wen Shu’s flushed face grew even warmer, she lifted her hand to cover her eyes, unable to suppress soft coquettish moans...
As the morning light streamed through the window cracks, the resounding waves woke Wen Shu up.
She rubbed her eyes and slipped out from a burning embrace, her throat unbearably hoarse.
She pried off the arm draped over her waist, poured a glass of water, and picked up the clothes scattered on the ground to put them on, belatedly realizing something was wrong.
Yining still hadn’t woken up?
She had some understanding of male stamina...
But last night after Yining bathed her, he fell straight to sleep upon returning to bed, and had slept until now.
She sat by the bed, gently pushing the sleeping person, when she finally saw Yining’s face clearly, her heart sank at once.
His lips were dark purple, his neck covered in tiny red rashes like an allergic reaction!
