Chapter 1732: I Do
"I do."
"I do."
"I do."
No matter how many times Nathan said it, the happiness in his heart never decreased.
He couldn’t help but remember the time before he transmigrated to this world. Looking back, being able to marry all these amazing women was something he could only dream of back then.
He managed to turn it into reality this time.
Selena gave him a taste of boldness and stability. When she stood in front of him, he felt he could achieve anything in this world.
Sera, on the other hand, had an innocent but supportive atmosphere around her. When he first met her, Sera was a rather gullible person who did things without even understanding why she had to do them.
A single sentence was more than enough to sway her opinion. However, even after being scrutinized by her people with that mentality, Sera never broke.
She continued to smile and do her best to help other people. She understood the darkness in people’s hearts, but she also believed in the brightness in their lives.
That was why Nathan didn’t speak too many words. For her, a smile could convey everything he wanted.
Alavenya represented boldness. They might have had some ’misunderstandings’ when they first met. It was something that Alavenya could never forget, but as she matured, her boldness became more concentrated.
When she stood in front of him, Nathan received her firm grip. It was a message that told him that she would never let him go.
No matter the problem they had to face in the future, she was confident she could stand by his side. Nathan, of course, vowed to continue to protect her.
Noelle was slightly different from Alavenya. Despite both of them being their close combatants, Noelle was much more embarrassed and awkward.
In the past, she used to pursue the ultimate path of a sword to the point she might even marry her sword.
However, she had experienced a lot of things, from the correction of her path to her grandfather’s death.
Noelle didn’t have a big wish. She just hoped that Nathan would never abandon her and that she could stay by his side as his sword.
Nathan kissed her, as if he wanted to tell her that he would always keep her close forever.
Flora, on the other hand, had been swaying left and right between her path as royalty and a normal person.
Even though she had been trying to cut her path off, she was still royalty. She could never be freed from it. Even in her divine rule, the dignity of the ruler remained.
What she could do was to differentiate how she was going to rule her kingdom, her relationships, and her life.
Nathan knew the burden she carried, but he was also glad that Flora had finally gotten the answer she was looking for.
Vivian was quite different. She was the one who had the most complex relationship with him.
She used to be his teacher. The dignity from that fact could be torn but never forgotten.
From time to time, she felt awkward because the person in front of her used to be her student.
At the same time, she couldn’t deny her feelings anymore. If she hadn’t taken this step, she would regret it for the rest of her life.
Standing in front of him, Vivian didn’t show her relief or her awkwardness. There was only pure happiness.
Before being able to stand here, she had been wondering what kind of face she would make. But when she arrived at this place, the thoughts vanished.
The only thought in her mind was, ’Ah... I finally marry him, my love.’
Nathan responded to her with sincerity and confidence. No matter what people said, he would make sure that Vivian didn’t have to endure it alone.
Bella often thought of herself as inferior. Even though she didn’t show it, she knew that she didn’t have Selena’s leadership, Sera’s innocence, Flora’s dignity, Alavenya’s boldness, Noelle’s resolve, or even Vivian’s feelings.
She thought she would become a burden in this family.
After all, she came here because she was with Evelyn.
Nathan never thought of her that way. No matter how many times Bella denied herself, he would be there to tell her how important she was to him.
Even if the world denied her, he would deny the world.
Bella didn’t know how much she mattered, not only to him but to the whole group. She brought a cheerful atmosphere to the group with her playfulness. She was reliable and could assist everyone, no matter the task.
If anyone needed something, they would probably come to her.
He felt comfortable with her. Just standing beside her would let his worry go. That was why Nathan could never stop telling her how important she was.
Evelyn, on the other hand, had the confidence not only as the most beautiful woman on this continent or in this world, but also as a capable person.
She had to endure a lot of hardship to reach this point, but she finally made it. Rather than thinking she was undeserved or that people overestimated her, she preferred to show that she was living well because of everything she had done.
Nathan could feel the confidence in her eyes. Both of them just looked at each other to know that they would elevate each other. There was nothing that could stand in their way.
Luna might have little to no emotion, but it didn’t diminish her sincerity.
A smile could tell a thousand words, but Luna chose to show it with her actions. The others could tell Nathan that she was wrong, but Luna was the only person who would stop him before they gave a warning.
She never looked down on the others, even though she was the oldest. For her, the only thing that mattered was the fact that they had finally become a family. The family would be there for each other.
She wouldn’t allow anyone to break this family.
Nathan knew he didn’t have to look back because Luna would always be there.
He loved all of them. They had their own strengths and flaws, but that was what made them unique.
That was why he could say these two words.
"I do."
