Chapter 955: Going to the Abandoned Valley again

4th Zone - Special Base

Jeremy Night did his daily routine. He was in a good mood. He was finally getting in contact with important people.

He knew it was all thanks to Elder John. He needed to perform well so that no one could question him. He then collected his thoughts and focused on the routine.

He then entered the practice room an hour later. He turned on the switch.

The natural energy flowed out from the inlet. It began to spread across the room. Slowly, the natural energy began to fill the room.

Jeremy came to the middle and sat cross-legged on the ground. He then closed his eyes and began to run the breathing method.

As he circulated the inner healing method, the natural energy in the room entered his body. He began guiding the energy as per the route mentioned in the breathing method.

Natural energy flowed through the route. The cells along the way became activated. They began to devour the natural energy.

As time passed, the unknown beast egg inside the mental zone became active. It began to devour natural energy.

The natural energy appeared above the unknown beast egg like a funnel. It then disappeared into the unknown beast egg.

Time passed.

Jeremy Night continued to repeat the process.

2 hours later,

He felt the burden on his veins, so he ended the practice. He opened his eyes and stood up. He then went to the console and turned off the switch.

The natural energy began to decrease. It didn’t take long for all the natural energy to dry out.

He then exited the room. Jeremy Night then went to take a bath.

2 hours later,

He left his room to pay a visit to Elder John. On the way, he came across the members. They glanced at him before retrieving.

He quickly left the building and went toward the office building. He didn’t have time to wear the armor suit; he almost forgot about it.

Soon, he reached the building. He climbed the stairs and came across other office rooms. He walked past them before stopping in front of Elder John’s room.

He saw that the door was half-open. He then asked for permission. He then heard a voice from inside.

Creak!

He opened the door and walked inside. He saw Elder John sitting behind the desk.

John saw the young man. He observed him for a moment before asking him to sit down.

Jeremy sat on the chair opposite him. He then looked toward him.

"I heard you passed his test. What did he say to you?" John asked.

"Manager Brian wanted me to get a good ranking in the leaderboard rankings," Jeremy replied.

His voice carried a weight. He knew it was a difficult task.

"He is right. But it’s going to be difficult. You have joined here recently. You have to do missions day and night for at least 3 months," John said.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night agreed, and he was willing to put in the effort. Then Elder John asked about the armor suit.

He took out the armor suit from the storage ring. He then placed it on the table.

John picked up the armor suit. He observed the black suit with purple design patterns.

"Use it well. It will help you do more missions," John said.

Jeremy nodded to him. Then their conversation went on for another 15 minutes. He then left the office.

He didn’t go back to his room. He went to the training facility for training. He selected one of the rooms there and started training his techniques.

Time passed.

He practiced until late at night. When he exited the training room, only a few members were there. Jeremy Night then left the training room and went back to his room.

The following day,

He came to the administration building after getting ready. He saw Elder Smith behind the mission desk. He walked up to him. He then started talking.

Elder Smith knew about his visit to City A, but he didn’t ask much about it. Then he gave him the device to select a mission.

Jeremy Night didn’t browse. He simply selected a hunting mission which required ten corpses of Tier-5 Beasts.

Such missions were for the first-year students who were Tier-5 Beast Tamers. These types of missions were given to test the combat strength of the Beast Tamers.

But Jeremy Night was picking these types of missions. It was easy for him. After selecting the mission, he left the building.

Jeremy Night then went to the training facility. He then used the changing room to wear the new armor suit. The new armor suit was black in color with purple design patterns.

A few minutes later,

He didn’t wear the helmet, but the rest of the armor suit fit onto his body like a cloth. He then went to the wilderness entrance.

He walked past other teams. His black armor suit drew attention. A few recognized the new armor product.

Under their astonishing gaze, he walked into the wilderness. He disappeared in front of their eyes. He knew where to find a Tier-5 Corrupted Beast.

He was going in the direction of the Abandoned Valley. Last time, he had come across many beasts. Instead of roaming aimlessly, it was better to go there.

He unsheathed his blade and cut down the entangled vines to make a way for himself. While doing that, he was also using his eye power.

He scanned for any corrupted beasts in the vicinity.

So far, he hadn’t found one. He marked signs on the trees before going deeper.

Hiss!

Just then, he heard a hissing sound. The hissing sound was not loud, but he heard it. There was a snake beast nearby. He immediately used his second eye power to scan the place.

He then saw a beast 100 meters away from him. The snake beast was not in his direction, so he ignored the beast. He continued walking forward.

Time passed.

He was looking for a flat land. He remembered taking a detour close to the place. It didn’t take long for him to find the exact spot.

He took a detour again to reach the familiar place.
