Chapter 954: Passing the test!

4th Zone (Wilderness)

Jeremy Night killed the remaining four-legged beasts in quick succession. He didn’t use the starlight power against the beasts.

He had relied on his blade skill and eye power. After slaying the beasts, he stood among the corpses.

Thud!

Next, Brian landed next to him. His gaze swept across the place. He saw the blade injuries on the four-legged beasts’ bodies. He had no doubt right now.

He knew about Jeremy Night’s Supreme Combat Body Talent. He thought Jeremy Night relied on his talent to kill the beasts.

"You pass," Brian said in a solemn tone.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night heaved a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, he had spent time improving his blade techniques. His mastery over the blade skill had long since entered the intermediate stage.

"Let’s go back," Brian said.

He nodded his head. The next second, the manager grabbed his shoulder and took him back to the place.

In the blink of an eye, we crossed several miles. Soon, we returned to the main gate. We landed in front of the gate.

Once again, he revealed his identity before they opened the gate. We then went towards his car.

A few minutes later,

The car departed from the place. Jeremy Night was sitting in the back seat. He watched the outside scenes with some relief.

He didn’t expect to get the opportunity to show his talent. Maybe this was the real reward given by Elder John.

Jeremy smiled. He thought he might go to the Top 3 zones through the door of the Beast Taming Store.

Brian remained quiet. He was driving quietly, but so many things were going on in his mind.

20 minutes later,

He landed the car in front of the Beast Taming Store. He stepped out. Manager Brian exited next.

"Come with me," Brian said.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night followed him to the store. The store was open. The staff were still working inside.

They were surprised upon seeing him. They watched the manager as well. They recognized the Tier-3 Beast Tamer from the special base.

Now they realized that the young man might be related to the manager. Everyone’s eyes were full of surprise.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night entered the manager’s room. Brian sat on his seat behind the desk.

Jeremy Night then sat opposite him.

"You shocked me. You are stronger than I had expected. No wonder John selected you for the special base," Brian said.

"You overpraise me," Jeremy replied.

"You are not worse than the talents in the 4th zone. But there are pros and cons. I heard you cannot use your Lifeline beast outside. So you are a STRIKER," Brian said.

"Yes, I’m a STRIKER," Jeremy replied.

"Then you have to work harder. I’m not the only one in the Beast Taming Association. There are multiple voices. Everyone will recommend their own people."

"If you want to stand out, you have to contribute more to the special base and stand out among the rest of them."

"You have already halfway succeeded by joining the Special Base as a Tier-3 Beast Tamer."

"If you can get good rankings in the Leaderboard Rankings, it will be good," Brian said.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night noted down the points in his mind. They continued to have a good conversation.

20 minutes later,

Jeremy Night left the store. He then returned to the hotel room. After getting inside, he closed the door. He went to take a bath first.

The smell of blood was coming off his body.

The bath lasted for 20 minutes. He then came out and changed into fresh clothes. He decided to take a midnight flight back to the base.

After having that conversation with Manager Brian, he felt motivated. He didn’t want to waste time.

Time passed.

He checked out of the hotel at night. He then went to the airport in a cab. After arriving at the airport, he paid the fare to the driver.

He walked in and went towards the ticket counter. He saw the staff behind the desk. He then bought a ticket to the special base.

The special flight would be leaving at midnight. He then waited in the waiting area.

When it was close to midnight, he and the other passengers went to the flight. One after another, the passengers boarded the flight.

Jeremy Night found his window seat and sat on it. The other passengers continued to arrive. Soon, the seats were all filled.

An hour later,

The special flight departed from the airport. Jeremy Night tried to stay awake. It was nighttime. The flight could draw the attention of the bird beasts.

He recalled the flight incident vividly in his mind.

Time passed.

The flight was now going through the wilderness route.

Jeremy Night tried to use his second eye power. He could see through the window. He saw many living signatures on the ground.

They were corrupted beasts roaming in the nighttime.

They had come out in search of food. He then started to fall asleep. Soon, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

A couple of hours later,

The flight reached the special base. When the flight landed on the ground, the door opened. A few passengers stood up from their seats, ready to depart.

Seeing that, he stood up from his seat as well. He then exited the flight and stepped onto the ground. Then, he started walking towards his accommodation building.

10 minutes later,

He returned to his room. It was already morning. Slowly, everyone would wake up from their sleep.

After going inside the room, he shut the door. He went to the bed and lay down. He didn’t even change.

A few hours later,

He opened his eyes. He got out of bed and began to do his routine. It didn’t take long for him to get a call from Elder John.

He then answered the call and told Elder John that he had arrived early in the morning. He would come to see him later.

John then ended the call. Actually, John had heard from his friend that Jeremy Night had passed his test. If possible, he would recommend Jeremy Night’s name in the future.
