The following day,

Jeremy Night woke up early. He began his morning routine. He did his morning routine for an hour, including some basic exercise.

He then entered the practice room. He shut the door and turned on the switch. Natural energy began to fill the room.

Slowly, it spread across the room. Pure natural energy filled the entire space. Jeremy then sat cross-legged on the ground.

He closed his eyes and began to run the breathing method. The natural energy entered his body. He guided the natural energy along the route mentioned in the method.

As the energy flowed across his body, he felt a craving from his greedy cells. The greedy cells became activated.

As the natural energy passed through the route, the cells began absorbing the energy. He felt the cells becoming active.

Not long after, the unknown beast egg inside his mental zone activated. The beast egg also sucked in the natural energy in the room.

It directly entered his body before appearing inside the mental zone. The natural energy moved like a funnel before disappearing into the beast egg.

Seeing that, Jeremy Night was happy. He continued to repeat the process.

2 hours later,

He ended the practice. He left the room and went to the bath. He spent 20 minutes in the bath before coming out.

He began to get ready. He then wore a black shirt and a pair of jeans.

A few minutes later,

He left the hotel. Once again, he saw the Beast Taming Store in front of him. Just as he was about to look for a cab,

he saw someone walking out of the Beast Taming Store. The person walked out and called him directly.

Seeing that, Jeremy Night was stunned. The person was none other than Manager Brian. He was not dreaming; Manager Brian was indeed calling him.

He then crossed the road and went to see him.

When he arrived in front of him, Manager Brian looked at Jeremy Night. This time, he saw him in a new light.

"Kid, I heard from John that you are a powerful STRIKER?" Brian asked.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night was taken aback because he didn’t expect the question. He carefully thought of his answer.

He then said, "Yes, I can fight across Tiers. So far, I have been able to slay Tier-5 Beasts."

Brian nodded his head, but he decided to evaluate the boy himself. Then he would be more assured.

"You know I’m from the Beast Taming Association as well. Though I was temporarily posted as a manager here, I didn’t forget my main job."

"If you are as good as John is saying, then I will help you like John did," Brian said.

Jeremy Night’s expression became serious. He realized that it was a rare opportunity.

"What do I need to do?" Jeremy asked, looking straight into his face.

"Well, I’ll take you to the wilderness here. I want to witness your skills. If you are able to slay a Tier-5 beast, then you pass," Brian said.

To that, Jeremy Night agreed. He didn’t want to let go of the rare opportunity. Next, Brian brought out his own four-wheeler.

Jeremy Night sat in the back seat. Manager Brian began to drive the car himself.

Jeremy Night watched the passing scenery through the window. He was not afraid at all. He decided not to use his starlight power.

He was simply going to use a blade move to kill the Tier-5 Beasts.

20 minutes later,

Brian parked the car in front of a massive iron wall. Jeremy Night stepped out. The manager stepped outside as well. He locked the car before bringing Jeremy Night to the main gate.

He showed his badge to the guards. They opened the gate for him.

When the guards turned toward them,

"He is with me," the manager said to them.

The guards nodded their heads. Next, they entered the wilderness. They came across dense forests. There were paths that went into the forests and disappeared within them.

Manager Brian touched Jeremy’s shoulder. The next second, he used a flight ability to cross the forest.

In the blink of an eye, they crossed the massive, crown-like forest canopy. Jeremy Night was thrilled. He understood that Manager Brian was another Tier-8 Beast Tamer.

Now he believed Brian’s words that he was not just a manager of a Beast Taming Store. Actually, he was a strong Tier-8 Beast Tamer.

Jeremy made an assumption that the manager might have offended someone. In the blink of an eye, he saw an open patch of flat land.

There were beasts resting on it. They were Tier-5 four-legged hybrids.

Brian saw the beasts as well. His mouth curved into an arc because there were six beasts on the ground.

Without asking Jeremy Night, he dropped him toward the ground.

Thud!

Jeremy Night landed on the ground.

Roar!

The four-legged beasts let out a series of roars. They didn’t expect a human Beast Tamer to appear there. They were above 4 meters in size.

One after another, the beasts stood up from the ground. They surrounded the human Beast Tamer. The beasts perceived that the human was weak.

They opened their mouths, revealing rows of white, chainsaw-like teeth.

Jeremy Night unsheathed his blade. He held the blade tightly. Next, he used his eye power.

The beasts’ movements appeared slow in his eyes. His senses kicked in; he could feel the exact presence of the beasts.

Brian watched the beasts approach the young man. He wanted to see what the young man would do right now.

Swoosh!

Jeremy Night predicted the beast’s movement. He shifted his body weight. Right then, he used the "Shadow Slash" move.

He swung the blade in a single motion. The blade movement was blindingly fast. The beast’s claw missed him entirely, striking empty air.

Pfff!

The blade cut through the neck of the beast, severing its blood vessels in a flash. He then withdrew the blade.

A torrent of blood gushed forth from the wound of the beast. He immediately attacked the next beasts, the blade dancing in his hand.

It came down striking fast, heavily injuring the beasts.
