Chapter 947: Slaying dangerous beasts

The four-legged beasts swiftly moved around the series of trees. Their speed didn’t slow down because of the trees.

The beasts were now a few steps away from catching their target. Jeremy Night’s legs were hurting. He had already run more than half a mile.

If he continued at the same speed, he could trip. He made a decision. He unsheathed the blade and covered the edge in starlight power.

Swoosh!

Right then, a four-legged beast leaped at him from the right flank. His senses kicked in. He felt the direction.

He paused all of a sudden. The brake didn’t destroy his balance. He had good control over his body due to his close combat technique.

"Blade One"

He executed the Blade One move. The blade cut through the air while carrying a strange momentum.

Pfff!

The blade swept across the left shoulder of the beast. It went further down before reaching the stomach.

The blood vessels in the body were cut down. A long red line appeared.

Pfff!

Blood splattered across the ground.

He then withdrew the blade before moving backward. His senses were in a heightened stage now. The surroundings appeared to be slow in his eyes.

The injured beast made a sound due to the pain. Blood flowed out from the wound and dropped onto the ground.

It couldn’t use its left front leg. The beast went backward, limping. His mouth curved into an arc.

The other seven beasts began to assess him. These beasts had survived attacks from Tier-7 beasts.

Boom!

The beasts enraged. Monstrous pressure set off from their bodies. One by one, the beasts were releasing their coercion.

In the blink of an eye, the pressure was directed in one direction.

Jeremy Night, who was facing them, felt a sense of crisis. He figured it out. Next, he tried to move backward, but the pressure reached him.

A massive coercion struck his body. Both of his feet sank into the ground. His blood vessels were under tremendous pressure.

All of his bones were making a cracking sound. His internal organs were under pressure.

He was experiencing heart-wrenching pain. He had experienced this pain before. His tolerance level was high. He could still maintain consciousness.

He knew he would die if this situation continued. His body might burst open under the pressure.

All eight beasts were enraged. Their eyes were blood-red. They understood that the Human Beast Tamer was slippery.

The best way to attack him would be to lock him down under pressure. Even the injured beast was using its coercion. It was a combined coercion from the eight beasts.

Even if a Tier-7 beast were to be here, it would feel discomfort.

Crack!

Jeremy felt a part of his bone was on the verge of breaking. His blood vessels were slightly hurt. His internal organs started bleeding.

He was on the verge of serious injury. Right then, he communicated with the lifeline beast.

The unknown beast egg showed no reaction for a few seconds. He knew the beast would be exhausted after using that protection.

But he was going back to the base. He would not exit until the unknown beast egg recovered. When he made the decision, it was sensed by the beast egg.

It began to vibrate. The next second, protective layers covered his vital organs, blood vessels, and other parts, including the bones.

His whole internal system was under protection.

While he was doing that, the injured beast took the chance and charged forward. It wanted to kill the despicable human.

Swoosh!

The beast appeared in front of its prey. It lowered its head to take a fast bite. The head of the beast was huge.

The human head was small for its mouth. Right then, Jeremy Night crouched down. But the blade in his hand moved.

Puchak!

He thrust the blade forward. The blade stabbed into the neck area, right in the area of the blood vessels. This time he didn’t withdraw it and thrust the blade even deeper.

Roar!

The beast made a huge sound before collapsing on the ground. It lost control over its body due to the severing of the blood vessels. It also lost a large amount of blood.

Right then, the other beasts reacted. They were dumbfounded. They didn’t expect the human to take down one of them.

Swoosh!

All seven beasts charged at him at the same time.

Jeremy Night’s eyes turned cold. He was pissed off this time. His internals had never been hurt like this before.

Slash!

Before the beasts could get near him, he moved toward them. The beasts’ movements were clear in his eyes.

He used the Shadow Flash move. The starlight-filled blade tore through the skin and flesh of the beast. It didn’t stop there.

The blade went across before sweeping through the internals. The internal organs were cut down and blood spurted from their wounds.

It caused internal bleeding first, before a torrent of blood gushed forth from the wounds.

He then withdrew the blade before striking another beast. His blade came fast at the second beast.

He evaded the front claws and the blade came in contact with the body.

Slash!

The blade cleaved through the side of the body. Blood flowed out from the wound.

As time passed, he swung at the rest of the beasts. The blade in his hand danced. It moved in a wide arc before slashing their bodies.

Thud!

One after another, the beasts collapsed onto the ground. Their lives did not end in one move because of their tier and their size.

But they were crippled and made immobile in one move. Now, the four-legged beasts’ situation was worse than death.

They lay on the ground in a pool of their own blood. It wouldn’t be long before other beasts came here. All eight beasts were reduced to food.

The first beast died due to excessive bleeding. The rest of the beasts were not doing good either.

Jeremy Night watched them die. He was also using the opportunity to consume the healing liquid. He had stored some supplies before taking the mission.

It has become useful now. He then scanned the surroundings with his eye power. He decided to leave before the blood attracted higher-tier beasts.
