Chapter 946: Collecting herbal flower

Jeremy Night is looking for the Grade-6 Flower. He was careful not to expose himself, though the beasts are down at the river stream.

He still didn’t want to take risks. He is using his eye power to scan the place. Once the place was confirmed to be without the herbal flower,

He walks down further. He carefully takes steps forward and moves through the vegetation. Finally, his eyes caught something which stunned him.

It’s the herbal flower. To his surprise, the herbal flower matches the size and description. It’s just that the color of the flower is red wine.

He could smell a special fragrance coming from the flower. He immediately takes out the container box to collect the flower.

He approached the flower slowly. The flower is no ordinary flower; it grows on a vine. He then used his second eye power.

Earlier, a vine beast had managed to evade his probing, so he wanted to be sure this time. But his eyes saw through the vine plant.

It was an ordinary vine plant, not one of the terrifying plant beasts. He sighed in relief. Next, he is ready to pluck the plant.

When his fingertip touched the stem, the herbal flower was disturbed. A sudden surge of a special scent was released from the flower.

Jeremy Night inhales the scent. He immediately felt an improvement in his exhausted body. He quickly plucked the flower and put it away inside the box.

He then closed the box before placing it inside his storage ring.

Roar!

The next second, he heard a terrifying roar. He raised his head and saw a massive flower over 3 meters in size coming towards him.

He was taken aback. He doesn’t know whether it’s a plant beast or another kind. But still, there is a distance between the beast and him.

Swoosh!

So he bolted from the place. In the blink of an eye, he left the dense vegetation.

The flower beast is following him from behind. The beast has been protecting the natural flowers in the abandoned valley.

The flower beast is a Tier-6 Beast. It had kept watch over that flower to get a breakthrough, but it didn’t expect a human to appear all of a sudden.

The flower beast sensed the strength of the human. It was shocked. It didn’t expect a weak human to get this far.

The special scent will attract other beasts from the valley. It wanted to catch the culprit before the others.

Jeremy Night sensed that the beast is not giving up. He immediately used his movement method to flee.

His pace increased all of a sudden. The flower beast was stunned by the sudden burst of speed.

The flower used its full strength. It burst forth with great speed. It generated a shock force that swept across the ground.

It quickly covered most of the distance, just as the beast was ready to catch the culprit.

A group of four-legged Corrupted beasts appeared in the distance. Each of the beasts was over 4 meters tall.

Jeremy Night didn’t recognize the identity of the beasts. He was certain that these beasts are not hybrid dog beasts, nor are they those hyena hybrids.

The four-legged beasts were unusually tall with long bodies. Their faces reminded him of another rare beast that was famous before the mutation era.

"Fox," Jeremy thought.

Now that he recalled, he made a discovery that the face matches an exact fox beast. But he didn’t know what the other part of the hybrid was.

He understands why these beasts are acting way more intelligent. Suddenly, he turned around and noticed that the number of beasts chasing him down had reduced.

There is no flower beast behind him anymore. He could only see the sharp teeth of the four-legged beasts. They were ready to tear apart his flesh.

He turned around and continued to flee. He then reached an area where the ground was not open anymore. He is coming across trees.

He used the trees as cover to widen the gap.

The four-legged beasts had already caught the scent of the human beast tamer. Even if the Human Beast Tamer uses trickery,

They can trace him using his scent. There are eight four-legged beasts-four on each flank. All of them are Tier-6 beasts.

As a group, they can take down Tier-7 beasts. That’s why they are roaming near the Abandoned Valley. It is also a place where battles occur often, so there is no lack of beast corpses.
