Jeremy Night looked for the corrupted beasts. It didn’t take long for him to find them. He killed the Tier-5 corrupted beasts and collected their corpses.

When the number of corrupted beasts reached ten, he made the return journey. On the way, he used his eye power to scan the area.

He avoided the corrupted beasts and made his way towards the special base. Jeremy was vigilant. He thought he could come across other killers.

He was going through a slightly barren land when he felt a tremor beneath his feet. Jeremy Night was stunned.

The ground before him split open. The cracks extended further. In the blink of an eye, he saw the head of a beast in the crack.

Upon seeing that, Jeremy Night moved backward.

The ground exploded. The next second, a massive worm beast appeared above the surface. It was an underground worm beast.

The height of the beast was over 5 meters, but the length of the beast was more than 20 meters. The beast was releasing the aura of a Tier-6 Beast.

The shockwave spread across the area. It uprooted the green vegetation around them. But the massive beast, with its razor-sharp, wide-open mouth, targeted the human prey in front of it.

Jeremy Night unsheathed his blade and covered it in starlight power. A starlight thread was added to the blade’s edge.

At the same time, he moved backward. He wanted to analyze the beast. He didn’t plan on leaving the place.

His eye power scanned the worm beast. His eyes picked up the details of the texture and the vicious liquid covering the worm beast.

The next second, he evaded the attack. He shifted his body weight. Then, he attacked the worm beast with his sharp blade.

The blade came into contact with the beast’s body. The skin split open. Then, the blade sliced through the body of the beast.

The vicious liquid came into contact with the starlight power. It was instantly erased by the starlight power.

He swiftly reached the other end. Blood spurted from the wound of the beast. Blood splattered across the ground.

The worm beast made a roaring sound. It was deeply hurtful.

Jeremy Night didn’t stop. He made a reverse strike and continued attacking the beast.

The Tier-6 Worm Beast was riddled with blade injuries in the blink of an eye. A vicious blood flowed out from the injuries.

During his stay here so far, he had found out that the mastermind of the beast tide was a Tier-9 Worm King.

It was not dead, but it was gravely injured and had disappeared into the depths of the unknown land.

Could it be revenge? Jeremy Night thought it was possible.

He had thought he needed to be wary of killers from his own side, but he didn’t expect to come across killers from the worm beast side.

He was sure that he was not the only target. Others might be under attack as well. He then sheathed his blade and resumed his journey.

That night, he reached the area closer to the base. His eye power spotted the returning Beast Tamers from the wilderness.

All of them were Beast Taming Teams. He didn’t see anyone walking alone. Just as he swept his gaze across the place, he found a few Beast Tamers looking at the forest here and there.

As if they were looking for someone. Jeremy Night was alert. He had a feeling that he was the person they were looking for.

Since he had come back to the base, he was not afraid of anyone. He emerged from the forest and went toward the building.

It didn’t take long for others to notice his Tier-3 strength. They recognized Jeremy Night. Seeing that he was alone and returning to the base, they were taken aback.

They were stronger than him and had higher tiers. Still, they did team missions. They never took the risk to enter solo.

While their eyes were on Jeremy Night, there was another Beast Taming Team who saw Jeremy Night as well.

They were killers and Tier-6 Beast Tamers from the second year. They had been waiting for the target all along.

Now that they had seen him, they didn’t feel happy. They couldn’t take action here.
