Chapter 255: Enough On Our Own
"Who?" I asked, lust clouding my brain as all I could see and feel was the giant male that was holding me.
"Silver Is The Moon," sighed Jun Li, clearly put out. I didn’t know what his problem was, but clearly, it had something to do with me.
"I have no idea who that is," I admitted, pulling Raguk down further. Stretching up as far as I could, I licked one of his tusks, causing him to tighten his muscles around me.
"It’s a friend," grunted Midnight, clearly as happy about the interruption as I was. "And my second in command. He should have some information on where to find a Hive ship."
Fuck, forgot about that. Ah well, duty called. I will climb this tree later.
Placing a gentle kiss on Raguk’s lower lip, I dropped down. The Uugazt slowly relaxed his grip, watching me the entire time just in case I lost my balance. Happy to have his attention, I smiled up at him.
"Hold that thought," I assured him as his arms dropped, and I was able to take a step back. "We’ll pick it up as soon as I am done."
"The Hive?" asked Raguk, a look of concern on his face. "I can provide you with all the warriors you need. You don’t need the Hive."
I petted his chest as I spun around and started to walk toward the lift that would take me to the command bridge. "I don’t need warriors," I said as we all piled into the lift. It was a tight squeeze, but since I was in the middle, I really wasn’t going to complain about it. "I need assassins."

I sat down in the captain’s chair and crossed my right leg over my left. My leg was fully exposed, the skirt parting like a curtain to show off my smooth, creamy skin. I would have to be extra careful about moving from this position if I didn’t want to flash the universe.
I heard a few groans from behind me as my males shifted, trying to relieve the pressure between their legs. They didn’t have to worry, though; I would be more than happy to do that after I had accomplished what I needed to do.
GA took the black fur blanket and draped it over my lap. I didn’t know if he did it for his own sake or mine, but he deserved a kiss for it.
Or maybe I just wanted to kiss him.
Yeah, apparently, I was more than a little horny still, even after having some of my males a little over an hour ago.
I shifted to get comfortable before turning my attention to the camera lens in the corner of the bridge. "I’m good. You can put him through."
"Greetings," said a silver wolfman as he appeared on the screen in front of me. He quickly bowed his head before looking around. "Is Midnight not there?"
"I am," growled the male in question, leaving his position and coming to stand beside me. "And you will address her as Luna."
Silver looked stunned for a second before turning his attention back to me. "My apologies, Luna, I did not know."
I nodded my head as if I knew what was going on and waited for him to get to the point.
"My contact requested that I speak to an individual called The Hunter in order to find a Hive ship in the area," started Silver, and I could feel both Ye’tab and Tha’juen stiffen at his words. "Unfortunately, almost as soon as I had put in my request, The Hunter went dark, and I have yet to hear from him since. It is the same with my informant."
I felt the tension in the room increase significantly at his words, but I wouldn’t call them out and ask what was going on. At least, not until I got off the metaphorical phone.
"—And that is why it took me so long to meet back up with you." Silver Is The Moon continued to speak, but unfortunately for me, I didn’t actually hear what he had to say.
"Did you find them?" demanded Midnight. It was funny to see him like this, as a true Alpha male. To me, he was always the joker, the clown that could make me smile. The Midnight standing beside me right now could cause a grown man to wet his pants. However, I was getting wet for an entirely different reason.
"The Hunter or the Hive?" asked the other male, cocking his head to the side.
"The Hive," snarled Midnight, clearly not impressed with his friend at the moment. I laid a hand on his forearm and watched the tension leak out of his body.
"It doesn’t matter," I reassured him. "We now have the names of two people who could help us look."
"I can get even more," grunted Raguk from where he stood beside Da’kea. "My ships span every section of the universe. Nothing and no one can hide without us knowing about it."
A smile burst across my face at his statement. How on Earth could the Alliance be so stupid as to not bring him in their hold the first chance they got? Oh well, their loss was definitely my gain.
"How far away are you?" asked Midnight, his tone no longer as abrasive as it once was.
"Still a few catawrs," came the immediate response.
Midnight grunted and nodded his head. "When you arrive, I want you to take point."
"I have two ships currently flying on either side of this vessel and another 28 behind it," interjected Raguk, clearly not happy with Midnight’s command. "We are enough to protect her."
"Not to mention we have Sha Shou," added Jun Li from the speakers. "That makes 31 ships, not including us."
"Silver can take point," I said, putting any argument to rest. The ships didn’t matter to me. It could be just us or 100 of them; all that mattered was that the Alliance was destroyed.
Silver nodded his head before the communication between our two ships cut out.
Tension continued to wound its way around us, and I let out a sigh. "I don’t think that any of you are stronger or weaker than the others," I said, wondering if that was the reason everyone was stressed. "Technically, with all of the stolen equipment and contraband on Jun Li, we are enough on our own to take out any threat."
