L clenched his fist; he must make Evelyn give up on Caden Lockwood completely!
"Remember, you are Yvonne Rhodes now," L instructed, "It’s up to you to create conflict between Evelyn and Caden Lockwood."
"The more I think about it, the luckier I feel!" Jessica Rhodes softened her tone, "I actually met someone as considerate as you!"
L lowered his eyes, looking at Yvonne Rhodes, and repeated blandly, "Considerate?"
"Aren’t you?" Yvonne Rhodes teased coyly, "L, once we’ve done everything, let’s find a small town, buy a little house, and have a few kids, okay?"
L didn’t respond, his gaze fixed on the cross he had worn for so long, his mind clearly wandering far away.
"You’re always staring at that cross!" Yvonne Rhodes complained, "Even if your old lover gave it to you, there’s no need to act so attached in front of me! Remember, I’m the one who’s here for you, giving you my all! Forget about all those aimless women!"
