Chapter 519: Chapter 519: Hoping She Will Leave Caden Lockwood

The issue with Yvonne Rhodes isn’t even resolved yet, and now the diary has resurfaced.
Evelyn Morgan gave a bitter smile, thinking perhaps she and Caden Lockwood really aren’t meant to be together!
Looking at this diary she once considered her life, now, Evelyn Morgan doesn’t even have the desire to open it.

"Then what do we do?" Jessica Rhodes frowns, "Are we really going to let her stay with Caden Lockwood? That’s so dangerous!"
"It’s my fault." L’s voice carries guilt, "I should’ve sorted it out earlier that she didn’t truly love Logan Shaw. Otherwise, I would’ve broken her and Caden Lockwood apart long ago, instead of letting her stay on!"
"It’s not your fault!" Jessica Rhodes quickly says.
Looking at L, her eyes shine with youthful affection, "Everything you’ve done is for Evelyn’s good. She doesn’t know the truth, doesn’t know Caden Lockwood can’t be loved."
Hesitant for a moment, Jessica asks again, "Why don’t you... tell her all the truth, and about your identity?"
"No way!" L’s voice booms, "I want her life to remain as beautiful as ever! As long as we keep pushing her towards Logan Shaw, let her give up on Caden Lockwood, fall in love with Logan, she can leave The Lockwood Family, avoid all disputes, and go abroad with Logan to live a good life."
"Don’t be mad! I’m just curious." Jessica lowers her voice, "I really envy Evelyn Morgan, having so many people cherish and love her."
"But I, Caden Lockwood, or even Cecilia Lynch, more or less, will end up hurting Evelyn." L’s tone is filled with melancholy and helplessness.
"L..."
"Only Logan Shaw." L speaks approvingly, "He could’ve done many things to win Evelyn back, yet he... chooses not to do any, foolishly holding onto the coin she gave him, only wishing for her happiness."
"Logan Shaw is really pitiful!" Jessica Rhodes sits next to L.
She leans on him and whispers, "Evelyn Morgan rushed into the fire to save him, he must’ve been incredibly moved, right then and there, that’s probably when his feelings for her started."
L nods.
Taking everything into account, Logan Shaw is indeed the perfect match for Evelyn Morgan.
If Evelyn could fall in love with Logan Shaw, she would live a life anyone would envy, free of sorrow or grief.
But ironically... she chose the wrong person.
