Chapter 521: Chapter 521: Forcing Her to Marry, Fall in Love, Sleep Together

Caden Lockwood stared at Evelyn incredulously, his rough breathing like daggers scraping across her face.

If he hadn’t seen the tear stains on her face, if the diary hadn’t been handed over by her, he wouldn’t have believed that Evelyn had written all of this.

Could it be that, all those times he wasn’t home, she was pouring her unwillingness into this diary?

Ha!

It was him who forced her!

Marriage, love, intimacy, all of it, he forced upon her!

Yet, this glaring fact was something he had always overlooked!

He naively thought that she had been touched by him!

Caden slammed the diary down heavily on the table, glaring at Evelyn, like an enraged lion, while Evelyn seemed nothing more than a tiny ant, easily crushed.

Evelyn was startled awake by the loud sound.

Her eyes opened, her sight falling upon Caden Lockwood’s handsome face, stained as if with ink.

Her heart skipped a beat in confusion, not understanding what was happening to him.

Her gaze slowly moved down, seeing the diary, and the words written on it.

The handwriting was hers, but the content, it wasn’t what she wrote.

The content here was about Logan, but her diary was all about big brother!

Evelyn trembled all over, disbelief flashing in her eyes.

Could it be, was all this Cecilia’s doing?

She always thought, no matter what, Cecilia could never fabricate something like this behind her back.

But reality was...

The shock was so overwhelming, it only made Evelyn more flustered.

Evelyn looked again at Caden, fully aware he had seen all the contents.

She could almost foresee what would happen next.

"Is it so unbearable?" Caden’s voice squeezed through his clenched teeth, "Evelyn, hmm? Staying with me makes you feel so aggrieved? You love Logan so much you’d still stay to please me?"

Evelyn clenched her fists, looking at Caden’s raging fury, then at the diary, her heart felt as if it was being torn apart.

If... this is what Cecilia wished...

She opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but no words came out.

She wanted to follow Cecilia’s plan, just let Caden’s rage grow even more, then, divorce her.

But she couldn’t bear it.

She couldn’t bear to leave Caden.

But what about him?

He hid from her the fact that Yvonne Rhodes was alive, secretly meeting with Yvonne, even turning off his phone when she called.

After doing all of this, what right does he have to question her?

Doesn’t he feel even a shred of guilt towards her?

Evelyn looked at Caden, at his seething fury, as she felt like a walking corpse, devoid of thought, devoid of soul.

"Say something!" Caden grasped Evelyn’s shoulders, all the malice in his dark eyes directed at her, as if ready to devour her at any moment, "Tell me this wasn’t written by you."

"Caden, I..."

"Evelyn!" Caden quickly interrupted Evelyn, as if worried she’d say something he didn’t want to hear.

He looked at her intently, the arrogance on his handsome face slowly fading, replaced by deep sorrow.

Thin lips slightly parted, he softly spoke, "Just tell me none of this was written by you, and I’ll pretend I haven’t seen anything!"

His tone was low and hoarse, as if pleading.
