Chapter 608: The Violet Haired Professor
Third Person’s POV
Instead, she resembled a rabid beast baring its fangs, perfectly living up to the nickname countless students had secretly given her over the years—The Fearsome Shrew.
Meanwhile, the timid girl sitting beside her friend had become even more nervous, fearing that this would end up involving her and she would also have to face the consequences of her friend’s foolishness.
Cold sweat trickled down her forehead as she lowered her head helplessly.
She secretly glanced sideways at her friend, hoping she would apologize and end the matter before it escalated any further.
Instead, she nearly fainted from disbelief as the black-haired girl somehow looked even lazier than before.
Covering her mouth politely, she let out a long yawn directly in Sharon’s face before lazily rubbing one sleepy eye.
The meaning behind that gesture couldn’t have been clearer.
She wasn’t taking Sharon seriously at all.
Several nearby students immediately sucked in cold breaths as even some teachers would have hesitated before provoking Sharon like this.
Sharon herself almost exploded from rage as blue veins bulged across her forehead.
Her body trembled violently as her patience snapped completely.

Without another word, she suddenly raised her hand high into the air, intending to slap the black-haired girl across the face with all her strength.
However...
Before her palm could descend, a soft hand suddenly caught her wrist firmly in midair.
Sharon froze.
"...Who?"
She spun around furiously, only to find Aurelia standing directly behind her.
Her face was completely expressionless.
She neither looked angry nor emotional, yet somehow, that complete absence of emotion made her appear even more frightening.
Her dull green eyes remained fixed upon Sharon without blinking even once.
For the briefest moment, Sharon instinctively felt a chill run down her spine.
Before she could process what was happening—
Slap!
Aurelia’s hand moved like a bolt of lightning, and the crisp sound echoed throughout the entire classroom.
The force behind that slap was so overwhelming that Sharon’s entire body spun sideways before she was sent tumbling several meters across the stone floor.
Students hurriedly stepped away to avoid being struck by her falling body.
For several seconds, complete silence filled the classroom.
When Sharon finally managed to push herself up from the floor, every student present stared at her in stunned disbelief.
Blood slowly trickled from the corner of her lips before dripping onto the polished stone floor.
A bright crimson handprint had appeared across one side of her pale face.
Her carefully arranged blonde hair had become completely disheveled as many strands stuck to her cheeks, while dust covered her expensive academy robes.

Feeling dozens of gazes falling upon her—some shocked, some sympathetic, some secretly delighted, and many barely suppressing laughter, Sharon’s humiliation instantly reached its limit.
Her entire body trembled uncontrollably.
And then...
A shrill scream erupted from her throat.
"I’LL KILL YOU, YOU BITCH!!"
She practically shrieked those words while glaring at Aurelia with bloodshot eyes filled with madness.
Aurelia, however, remained perfectly still.
Her expression had turned cold, and her unwavering green eyes calmly watched the disheveled Sharon as though she were looking at someone completely beneath her notice.
Sharon’s hand flashed, and a beautifully crafted blue magic staff immediately appeared within her grasp.
Without caring about the academy rules or the consequences, she began gathering mana, clearly intending to attack Aurelia on the spot.
But just as the atmosphere became explosive and everyone instinctively retreated in alarm...
A sweet yet authoritative woman’s voice suddenly echoed throughout the classroom.
"What exactly is going on here?"
Everyone instinctively turned towards the classroom entrance and saw a beautiful violet-haired woman walking inside with calm, measured steps.
She appeared to be in her mid-twenties, not much older than many of the academy’s senior students, yet the elegant professor’s robes draped over her graceful figure immediately distinguished her from everyone present.
The long black robes, embroidered with intricate silver runes and subtle ice-blue patterns near the sleeves, swayed gently with every step she took.
Her long violet hair flowed freely down her back in soft, natural curls that shimmered faintly under the mana lamps hanging from the classroom ceiling, giving her an ethereal appearance, almost as though she had stepped out of an old fairy tale.
Her eyes were the exact same shade as her hair, deep violet with a quiet beauty hidden within them, but at this moment, those beautiful eyes were as cold as frozen lakes in the dead of winter.
The moment she entered the room, almost every male student instinctively straightened his back.
Several hurriedly adjusted their robes while others sat upright and tried to compose serious, refined, or indifferent expressions as they tried to appear like refined young masters with calm and mature demeanours.
Some even quietly brushed their hair back or adjusted their collars, subconsciously attempting to leave a favorable impression upon the beautiful professor.

However, to their dismay, the professor herself paid no attention to any of them, like always.
Her indifferent gaze immediately settled upon Sharon, whose magic staff was still raised while mana continued gathering around its crystal tip.
The entire classroom became silent, and even the air seemed to grow heavier.
Seeing the professor’s cold gaze resting upon her, Sharon’s boiling rage cooled slightly.
The mana surrounding her staff gradually dispersed before she silently returned the magic staff to her storage ring.
Although the murderous fury in her eyes had not disappeared, the ugly expression twisting her beautiful face gradually smoothed out, leaving behind only unconcealed resentment and humiliation.
Using the back of her hand, she wiped away the blood trickling from the corner of her lips before turning around.
Without saying a single word, and without even acknowledging the professor’s question, she simply walked out of the classroom.
As she reached the doorway, however, she stopped for the briefest moment.
Her head tilted slightly as she cast Aurelia an incomparably venomous glare overflowing with hatred and malice.
Immediately afterward, that same hateful gaze shifted towards the lazy black-haired girl.
It was obvious that she had engraved both of their faces deep within her heart.
