H-how...how did that inflict so much damage!? Of the humans I eliminated in the other half of the world, two of them attempted to use that ability against me, but it had no effect.
But his is different...the moment those jaws clamped around my arm, it severely infected and broke apart the energy that made up my arm.
He has also stopped using Magic and is now trying various other attacks...he is likely testing out which of his abilities are the most effective against me, which means that he has realized that his Magic is not as effective.
I assumed his Soul Weapon was the only thing I needed to be genuinely concerned about, but that ability he referred to as Magic Eater is an even greater threat.
What should I do? Should I flee? No, that would be pointless...it would take several centuries to recover even a fraction of my energy, and I cannot afford to wait that long, I must eliminate him as quickly as possible.
Yes, that is now my priority...forget wiping out the rest of the intelligent life from the world, he is a far greater threat to the balance of the world than the rest of them combined.
I then teleported away as he shot towards me, sending those jaws shooting out at me, before I teleported behind him and swung my fists inwards at either side of his head.
He quickly ducked in response, my fists crushing the top of his head, but he had turned that spot gelatinous, before I teleported away as those jaws shot out towards my left foot.
I grimaced as I reappeared several meters away, my foot missing...right before I teleported, he managed to snap the jaws shut around my foot.
Still, his reaction appeared to be marginally slower than it was before...which means, my strategy is working, his fatigue is starting to build up.
I cannot let up now, I must keep attacking and wearing him down until I get a clear opening to extinguish his life...

Point-of-View: Larrk Stryker

Damn it...even with how vast my stamina reserves have grown after my Contracts, this is seriously wearing me out.
And even though I’ve stopped using Spells, my Mana is seriously running low now...it’ll be a matter of minutes before I’m no longer able to turn my body into slime and my Soul Weapon Ascension wears off too.
I need to end this quickly...
As he then teleported again, I began swinging my whips across all around, smacking against the ground as I kept my eyes peeled, before turning across to my left as he reappeared in that direction.
He drove his fist towards me as I slashed one of my blades at him while simultaneously extending Magic Eater out towards his head.
My whips struck his fist and forearm several times, slowing his strike down before his fist slammed against the left side of my body as the tip of my dagger grazed his chest and Magic Eater chomped off the top of his head, before I found myself hurtling across to my right at a breakneck speed.
Sh-shit, my body’s not reacting as fast as I need to, I was a hair too slow that time, I-I just barely managed to turn my side into slime before his hit landed...!
I then fired off a pressurized gust of wind to my right to halt myself, before spinning around as he teleported behind me.
I slashed my blades across at his chest and wiped out a chunk of his torso with Magic Eater before he slammed his fist square onto the middle of my body, a devastating shockwave bursting out upon impact as I got blown away, my body slamming onto the barrier in the blink of an eye.
Damn it, I managed to turn myself into slime again, but that took a significant chunk of what’s left of my Mana, and even then, the force of his attack seriously rattled my core, it’s sure to get damaged if he lands another hit like that, I need to-...hm?
Wait, his regeneration has slowed to a crawl...I may be reaching my limit, but it looks like he is too! This isn’t over yet!
I then quickly re-formed my body and leapt off to the right as he teleported in front of me and drove his feet towards me, slamming against the barrier with a crushing impact, triggering a shockwave as I extended Magic Eater and chomped off the top of his left shoulder, before getting sent flying back as the shockwave hit me.
I twisted my body across and slashed my blades back as he teleported behind me, slicing through his stomach before opening a portal above myself as he drove his left fist down towards me.
As his fist plunged into the portal, I snapped the jaws of Magic Eater around his elbow, severing his forearm before he teleported away as I drove one of my blades towards his chest.
I turned my gaze across as he reappeared several meters away, eyeing me warily...at least, I think he is, it’s hard to discern any expressions since he’s only got eyes on his face.
I then grimaced as I lost my grip over my Soul Weapon Ascension, which reverted back to its base form...looks like this is it, I don’t have enough Mana left to maintain it. And I can only turn my body into slime a few more times before the last bit of Mana gets used up.
"Well, now...I see you’ve all but stopped regenerating now. You must be nearing your limit," I called out tauntingly, as I noticed the missing parts of his body no longer growing back.
"It appears the same applies to you. Your Soul Weapon is no longer in its most powerful state, and you appear significantly fatigued."
"Yeah, no way to deny that...looks like this battle isn’t going to last much longer," I remarked, cracking my neck with a tilt of my head as I focused up, mustering the last reserves of my strength...
