Chapter 422: Chapter 422 - Counterattack(Part 7)

"N-no, this can’t be...," Stuttered Lavinia shakily, as she tried to activate the moonlight barrier again, before I promptly nullified it again.
"Weren’t you listening? Like I just said, that isn’t going to work anymore," I called out tauntingly.
"Damn it, of all the-...no, there’s a simple solution to this. I just need to destroy that Magic Item!" She exclaimed as she shot towards me rapidly.
As she began to close in, her eyes widened in alarm as Lucifer suddenly teleported to her right and unleashed her Repel ability, striking her right side and sending her hurtling off to the left at a breakneck speed, as Pavorphobus swiftly flew up and unleashed a fierce volley of Negative Energy blasts.
Lavinia quickly formed a dome of blood around herself as she crashed onto the side of a wall, the blasts peppering the dome with immense force before breaking through, a cry of pain ringing out before the dome fell apart as she frantically zipped up into the air, letting out a stifled gasp as one of the blasts slammed against her right leg.
She gritted her teeth as she began to regenerate, before letting out a gutteral roar as she unleashed a fierce barrage of blood needles all around her.
I turned my body to smoke as the bloody projectiles closed in on me, the needles harmlessly whizzing through the smoke as Lucifer teleported to evade the ones shooting towards her, while Pavorphobus fired off several Negative Energy blasts to vaporize the needles aimed at her.
"This is turning out to be a rather sorry display...I seem to remember you being a lot more cool-headed and composed," Remarked Lucifer, as she teleported behind Lavinia and fired out an intense burst of Negative Energy, which collided against the Elder Vampire’s back before she could react and sent her flying forward through the air.
She quickly spread out her wings sharply to halt herself, before I swiftly raced forward and formed a black hole in front of her.
She began flapping her wings frantically as she began to get pulled towards it, doing her best to resist the powerful pulling force of my Spell. She was stuck in place, the force generated by her wings equal to the force exerted from my black hole, leaving her vulnerable.
Lucifer then flew up behind her and took aim, before swinging her arm down and firing out a pressurized, vertical slashing wave of telekinesis towards the Vampire, which struck her body from behind and sliced through, splitting her in half.
A fierce burst of pressurized blood erupted from the right half to launch itself away from the black hole, the left half getting pulled in and swallowed up as she began regenerating from her right half, blood raining down and splattering across the floor.
"D-damn it...damn it, damn it, DAMN IT!!! This isn’t happening...this can’t be happening!" She snapped as she regenerated, before crying out as Lucifer hit her with Repel, sending her zipping away to her left before she crashed onto the side of a wall, cracks spreading out from the point of impact.
I knew that negating the moonlight barrier would make this easier, but I really didn’t think it’d be this easy...I think I might even be able to defeat her by myself. It’d be tough, but far from impossible.
Honestly, this is starting to feel kinda anticlimactic...I mean, not that I’m complaining, it certainly beats getting battered and bloodied. Still though, I expected much more of a challenge. I wonder if the others are having just as easy a time against their opponents?
I then glanced up as Lavinia zipped up into the air as she finished regenerating, before flying away as Pavorphobus fired out a barrage of Negative Energy blasts at her, narrowly evading them before coming to an abrupt halt as Lucifer teleported in front of her, before quickly raising her right arm up defensively as one of the Negative Energy blasts closed in on her, slamming onto her arm and eliciting a sharp cry of pain.
Lucifer then unleashed Repel to send her flying back again, before swiftly teleporting above her and firing Repel straight down at her, hitting her torso with a powerful impact and sending her plunging down towards the floor, a deafening crash ringing out as her back slammed onto the floor with immense force, deep cracks spreading out across the tiles.
She coughed out blood with an agonized wheeze as she shakily tried to get back onto her feet...looks like several of her bones are broken, I should take advantage of that before she regenerates.
I then turned my entire body to smoke and billowed out, flowing towards her and engulfing her. She let out a cough as I sent a large amount of smoke in through her mouth and nostrils, her eyes tearing up before she managed to get back onto her feet, stumbling back as she coughed again.
"I-I...I’m not done yet! If I’m going to go down, I’m taking you all with me!" She snarled viciously.
"No, you won’t. It’s over now," I remarked, my voice echoing out around her across the smoke surrounding her.
"It isn’t over till I say it’s-...!" She began, before shuddering in pain as I compressed and unleashed a mass of smoke inside her body, rupturing the surrounding organs as blood poured out of her mouth.
I then formed several pockets of smoke all throughout her body, compressing them sharply...ah, there it is, I can feel it, a spherical object rapidly moving around her body, she’s keeping her core mobile to try and avoid it being targeted. But it won’t work.
As I felt her core moving near one of the pockets of smoke I’d compressed, I swiftly unleashed it, triggering another sharp burst inside her, a cracking sound echoing out inside her body as she let out an excruciating scream of pain.
I then felt the core stop moving, before I quickly moved the other pockets of smoke towards it and unleashed them, violent spasms of pain erupting across her body as I shattered her core, before the smoke flowed back out of her nostrils and mouth.
She stumbled back and coughed out blood before collapsing onto the floor on her knees as I solidified my body, eyeing her warily as I took a few cautious steps back...looks like there’s nothing to worry about though, seems she’s done.
"D-damn...it...," She uttered weakly as her eyes rolled back, before she fell over and hit the floor with a thud...
