Chapter 91: Change of School Plans

Caelum and Bonjour finally returned to Foundation Division, Dormitory 8.

However, the moment they entered the room, they paused.

The entire gang(?) was somehow gathered inside already.

Paul sat near the table while organizing papers, Ryan and Sénior were loudly arguing over a board game, and Skyler sat near the window with an unusually calm and holy expression.

Even the magical beasts had formed their own gathering.

Paul’s panda, Jojo, and Caelum’s dog, Voomie, were sitting together while arguing with each other as if seriously discussing life.

Caelum’s eyes twitched slightly.

’Do these people seriously not train?’ he thought.

The moment Paul noticed him, his eyes brightened.

"Caelum, you finally returned?" Then he narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

"Wait... don’t tell me you were actually hiding somewhere the entire time?"

Meanwhile, Bonjour immediately walked toward Sénior and began discussing matters related to Elder Gurath.

"I already know child, you will come here at the end of the day..." Skyler said calmly from nearby.

Ever since becoming a Saint, his entire disposition had changed greatly.

Caelum immediately pointed toward him.

"What happened to this guy?"

"He’s hopeless now," Ryan replied instantly while shaking his head dramatically.

"This future Mercenary King has officially declared him a lost cause."

Skyler merely smiled mysteriously afterward, further proving Ryan’s point.

Eventually, Caelum sat down near the group.

"Anyways, I heard a lot of insane things happened while I was gone?"

"Damn! You went home?!" Sénior suddenly shouted loudly.

His voice attracted everyone’s attention again.

"By home, do he mean the Kalar Mountains?"" Ryan added slowly while staring at Bonjour and Caelum suspiciously.

Meanwhile, Paul ignored them entirely and focused directly on Caelum.

"What exactly happened to you?"

Caelum exchanged a brief look with Bonjour before sighing.

"...Let’s just exchange information properly."

And thus, the storytelling session began once again.

For quite some time, the group shared everything that had happened during the single day Caelum and Bonjour had disappeared.

Caelum also briefly explained parts of their absurd adventure within the frozen lands.

"Damn! A dragon?!" Skyler suddenly interrupted excitedly.

"I saw one too!"

His loud interruption immediately ruined Caelum’s storytelling flow.

That statement reminded Caelum of something important once again.

At this point, he no longer even needed to search for adventures.

As long as he remained inside this school, strange events would naturally arrive at him on their own.

"So after graduating from the school, you’ll eventually depart toward the Holy Land of the Summoning Goddess?" Caelum repeated while looking toward Skyler.

"That’s right," Skyler replied proudly.

"Even the position within my family will increase tremendously now that I am a Saint."

"Wait, your family actually has influence?" Ryan immediately looked interested.

"You never mentioned this before."

Skyler coughed lightly before answering with a dignified expression.

"My family runs merchant businesses."

Then his serious expression immediately collapsed into excitement.

"And now that I’m officially a Saint, just imagine how much money I’ll make in the future! Hahahaha!"

He laughed hysterically.

Deep within his heart, Skyler still remembered the pure sincerity he once held toward the Summoning Goddess.

And now, he planned to sincerely collect donations in her name.

Then sincerely donate a small portion to her.

Meanwhile, Caelum silently calculated several things mentally.

According to the him, there were still roughly three years remaining before all of them completed their schooling.

Initially, Caelum had confidently told his family that he would finish school within only two years.

However, now he honestly no longer minded staying for three.

After all, he was still only seven years old.

He had plenty of time available to waste.

Suddenly, another thought crossed his mind.

"By the way, where are your summons?" Caelum asked while looking around.

"I only see mine and Paul’s."

The moment he asked that question, Paul immediately made an awkward expression while the others desperately tried suppressing their laughter.

"Uh... about that... It seems my summon cannot return anymore." Paul muttered awkwardly.

Then he sighed deeply.

"He’s apparently permanently bound to me now."

Paul still vividly remembered how sincerely he had prayed to the Goddess for a budget-friendly summon.

Unfortunately, reality had betrayed him completely.

At that moment, Jojo the panda patted Paul’s shoulder proudly.

"My master, one day you shall fully realize my greatness." Jojo declared confidently.

Meanwhile, Caelum slowly looked toward Voomie.

The small dog somehow appeared to be smiling sinisterly.

"Woof! What are you staring at, owner?" Voomie barked confidently.

Then she gave Caelum what looked like a strangely happy smile.

At this point, Voomie had already learned several survival techniques from the Power Panda.

After discovering that her contractor possessed surprisingly high status within the Earthly Plane, she had decisively chosen to behave obediently for the time being.

After all, luxury life was comfortable.

Her contractor was rich.

She also had a lot of time to practice her abilities, like she was practicing yesterday.

The school food tasted amazing and nobody here attempted to fight her.

Voomie felt extremely satisfied with her current lifestyle.

"I’m absolutely not leaving anywhere, woof!" she declared proudly.

Caelum narrowed his eyes, he felt that ’not leaving anywhere’ was slightly personal.

Then silently, he attempted to cancel the summoning once.

A summoning circle briefly shone upon his palm before dimming again.

"...Interesting,"

"Oh right," Paul suddenly said while snapping his fingers.

"I almost forgot something important, the Headmaster requested both you and Bonjour to meet him immediately."

Caelum frowned.

"Why the Headmaster specifically? Shouldn’t we first report to our class teacher?"

Ryan answered instead.

"There are rumors that our class teacher got injured recently."

The moment Caelum heard that, he groaned.

It seemed, he would once again need to visit that troublesome old man.

"What?! We are meeting the Headmaster? Didn’t we just meet the Principal of the Sky school? Caelum answer me seriously do you have other intentions?" Bonjour asked with wide eyes.

"WHAT?! You met the Principal of Sky School!" Ryan suddenly grabbed Caelum’s shoulder shaking him violently. Because who did not know the most beautiful women in the Empire?

Bonjour too was greatly startled by the intensity at which Skyler spoke.

Caelum had only told them what had happened, till they visited the Yeti’s.

Bonjour did not know what kind of expression Ryan will make, after knowing the talks between Caelum and Catherine Valor.
