Chapter 147: 2.27 Xander’s Proposition
"Xander, that’s amazing! How can your dada and I remember though?" Brie asked in amazement. "You literally turned back time and it just brought us back from the front yard like nothing changed."
"Nana Fena thinks you can remember because you share a soul and I came from you so I share both of your souls too!" Xander bragged, a huge smile forming across his face.
"Well, I know you want to get back home, so please don’t go fast forwarding 14 years on us." Brie said, tears falling from her eyes. "We want to watch you grow up."
Sora walked over and wiped Brie’s tears and kissed her on the cheek.
"Aw, don’t worry Mama and Dada. I don’t want to miss growing up either. What’s the point in living life if you don’t get to experience any of it?" Xander asked.
Shocked at their son’s level of emotional and mental capacity at such a young age, they both smiled and tucked him back in.
"Xander, you’re going to be really, really special when you grow up. I love you sweetheart. I’m glad you’re home, get some sleep," Brie said as she kissed him on the forehead.
"You’re mama’s right. You are already the best thing to happen to us and when we get back to Exteria, everyone’s going to be so excited to see how much you’ve grown!" Sora boasted while he kissed Xander on the forehead. "Sleep good buddy, I love you."
Sora and Brie held hands as they turned off his light and went to close the door.
"Thanks mama and dada! I love you too." Xander said cheerfully.
"Will I ever have a brother or a sister?"
Sora and Brie looked at each other, smiled, and turned to Xander.
"Wouldn’t you rather have one on Exteria?" Brie asked.
"Well, I’d be 18 then and I wouldn’t have anyone to grow up with. That’d be kind of a bummer. I don’t have anyone my age here to play with." Xander said, putting on his best pouting face.
"We’ll talk about it with your Nana Athena, ok?"
"Promise?"
"We promise." Brie and Sora said in unison while they closed the door.

They made sure he was asleep before they went into their room and talked about the idea.
"Athena said it was up to us when we originally asked her to prevent us from having kids in Paradise. We’re already bringing back an 18 year old to a party that knew him as a toddler, do you think they’d be mad if they didn’t get to see our other child grow up?" Brie asked while cuddling Sora.
"I don’t think anything we do could really upset them at this point unless I destroy Exteria. They forgave me when I was at my absolute worst, and it’s really not their decision if you think about it. Sure, they’re our closest friends and Levi and Sasha are basically family, but our family decisions are ours to make and no one else’s." Sora said while he kissed his beautiful wife.
"I wonder what having a baby up here would be like..." Brie wondered.
"I’m sure it’d be like having it on Exteria, just with Athena instead of Celeste to help you out. I’m sure there are plenty of other gods and goddesses Athena trusts and it’d be nice for all of your ancestors and my parents to be able to spend time with another grandchild. It’s not the worst idea."
"Should we talk to Athena about it? Maybe leave it up to chance again like we did with Xander?" Brie said as she slowly kissed Sora.
Sora returned the kiss and slowly pulled away and stared Brie in the eyes, while brushing his hand through her blue hair.
"I think that would be fair to Xander and I wouldn’t mind sharing another child with you. It’s up to you though, you’re the one who has to carry the baby, give birth to the baby, feed the baby and everything else."
"I don’t have a problem with any of that. What if our child does something else super extraordinary and Xander feels jealous and like he is competing for our attention and love?"
They both jumped out of bed as someone walked through the portal in their room.
"Sorry to scare you. I just left Chronos’ realm. It seems Eris is hiding in the Underworld and no longer with her titans. I didn’t want Xander to hear, but Skylar located the secret realm Lox’s hidden ally calls home. Eris fully committed to Hades after Lox’s soul shattered and has new eyes that hold a new power. Hades plans on creating another realm and Eris will likely rejoin Azazel and Helen when you return to Exteria for a final showdown," Athena said calmly.
Brie and Sora sat back down on their bed and gestured for Athena to take a seat wherever she’d like.
"Is Hades trying to mimic the power Chronos instilled in me or something? Why would he create new eyes for Eris and why would she leave her titans?" Sora asked while shaking his head. "This doesn’t make sense."
"Skylar believes it’s so that the titans will miss their Queen and when they’re reunited, they’ll rejoice and be extra motivated to ensure Exteria falls and they take your powers. As for her powers, well, from what Chronos gathered, she’s able to erase people’s memories and fully control them. It’s nothing like your eyes," Athena said with a frown.
"But the good news is your eyes are much more powerful, Brie has her own abilities and Xander has his own abilities as well. We are certain you will stay on the path of Savior Sora, please do not worry." Athena said confidently.
"Sora, do you think Xander knew Athena would be coming to see us tonight?" Brie asked and giggled.
"Your giggle will never get old. No, I don’t think he knew. He doesn’t have foresight although he could have possibly rewound time," Sora said and laughed.
"He said we’d know because of what his Nana Athena told him about our souls. He’s fast asleep, there’s no way he had anything to do with this." Brie smiled and exhaled deeply.
Athena smiled, although she wasn’t entirely sure what was going on. "Am I missing something?" she asked while laughing.
"Xander asked if he was ever going to have a brother or sister and we promised him we’d talk to you about it. You said it was our choice, so I guess we’re asking you to lift the hold on us having a child while in Paradise," Sora explained joyously.
"Brie, you’re certain?" Athena said gleefully. "I know we cannot control if it will happen or not, but the thought of another god or goddess born in Paradise is exciting. It has not happened in a long time!"
Brie took a moment, but couldn’t deny she missed the attention and affection a newborn and small toddler gave her. She loved being a Mother and she knew Sora was a great father.
"Yes, I’m sure. Please bless us with the ability to have children again." Brie exclaimed.
Athena’s gold and white magic flew effortlessly from her fingertips and went right through Sora, then Brie’s hearts. They could both feel the warm sensation relaxing their entire bodies.
"You have my blessing. Now I’ll let you get some rest, Xander’s birthday is soon!"
Athena quickly left and Sora and Brie wasted no time getting busy.
