Chapter 146: 2.23 Filling In The Blanks
Sora appeared and Brie gave him a big hug and kiss.
"Well, how did it go?" Brie asked with a large smile.
"That’s a unique race. I don’t get the feeling they’re going to work together and I’m sure we’ll end up seeing them soon." Sora admitted while wrapping his arms around Brie.
"Anyway, I suppose we should head back. It’s getting late." Sora said while Xander ran up to them.
"Nana Fena, can I go with Mama and Dada tonight?" Xander asked politely.
"Of course you can sweetie. Whenever you want to see them, just ask!" Athena said while giving him a hug.
Xander sprinted over to Skylar and petted her head. "Thanks for being such a good friend."
Skylar nuzzled him and he scratched her before he sprinted back.
"That was very kind of you Xander," Brie said excitedly while pinching his cheeks.
Skylar flew and perched on Athena’s shoulders.
"Skylar says don’t slack on your training and come back in about a month. She said you’re a great friend and you deserve to spend some time with your parents. I agree with her, you’ve been with me for a few months now. Go enjoy your birthday and show your parents all the amazing stuff you’re able to do," Athena kissed Xander on the forehead and smiled at Brie and Sora.
She created a unique portal near the back of her home, hidden by a large garden.
"Well, let us know if you need us. You know where to find us!" Brie smiled as the three waved and walked through the portal.
’Now Skylar, you’re certain that’s the location of Lox’s hidden ally and where Hades’ visits frequently. Eris has been there several times and has new eyes? Please catch me up on all of this. What’s this about a new realm?’
Athena didn’t want to burden Sora’s family more than she already felt she had. She was glad they couldn’t see the realm she saw a few miles from Solstice.
’I think it’s time I paid Chronos a visit. Skylar, please notify me if I need to return immediately. I’ll be back as quickly as I can.’ she thought before she disappeared.
"Lady Athena! What a pleasant surprise. I’m guessing you’ve seen someone’s doing their best to impersonate my abilities as well. This is quite troublesome. What shall we do?"
"I was hoping you had a good answer for that. The good news is Xander and the Lockhearts are progressing at a much faster rate than I ever imagined. Hopefully they continue to grow and are able to stop Helen and Azazel from taking over Exteria."
"More importantly, let’s hope they’re able to fulfil the Savior prophecy so their power doesn’t fall into the enemies hands," Chronos said with a reluctant smile. "Although, if they’re growing at the rate they’re growing and Eris is no longer with Helen and Azazel, that future seems more bright."
"Yes, Eris... it seems she’s committed to Hades. The only question is, where is she?"
"The last time I saw her she was using her new power in the Geminian Universe. She returned to Hades and vanished. Perhaps she’s lurking in the Underworld?" Chronos suggested.
"The only place we can’t see. Is this something I need to worry about right now Chronos?"
"I think the more pressing issue is to ensure Sora continues on the correct path. We cannot control what Hades does with Eris so we must hope she does not return to Azazel and Helen. That weakens them significantly. The titans will follow Helen’s orders, but it will not be with the same love and passion as when they fight for Eris. Consider this a minor hiccup in our current timeline." Chronos said with a smile.
"Thanks Chronos. Remember, I stand by my promise. As soon as things on Exteria are over, you can relax in Paradise for a while. I thought Sora and Brie might be good replacements. They owe you that much, don’t you agree?" Athena asked kindly.
"A break from all of this would be nice and yes, those two would make a fine team." Chronos said while nodding cheerfully.
"It was nice seeing you Chronos, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you need anything." Athena said before she returned to her realm.
"Well Skylar, it’s up to the Lockhearts. Nothing’s changed aside from Eris leaving the titans behind. I cannot understand what my Uncle is doing. He must plan on returning Eris to the titans for the fight on Exteria... there’s simply too much for him to lose if he doesn’t."
Skylar agreed with her companion and said, "Eris will return for the fight on Exteria. There is no doubt in my mind and it will be a great motivation for the titans to see their beloved goddess and Queen again."

"Well Xander, what do you want to do for your birthday buddy?" Sora asked while he tucked Xander in. Brie was on the other side of the bed, ready to tell him a bedtime story.
"I’m not sure yet! I’m sure we’ll think of something. How do you think Levi, Sasha and the others are doing? I try not to watch them too much. It makes me sad." Xander said with a frown.
"I know sweetie," Brie said as she kissed his forehead. "It makes us sad too."
"I’m sure they’re doing what we’d normally be doing. It’s strange to think only two days have passed for them while we’ve lived for two years, isn’t it?" Sora asked Xander.
"I always knew I’d be leaving and returning as an adult, I just didn’t realize how long it would take to turn 18. I’m only turning 4!" Xander said while laughing.
"We don’t want you growing up too fast!" Sora pleaded.
"Your Father’s right! We missed you so much when you were with your Nana Athena! You’ll have to show us tomorrow all the cool new stuff you can do." Brie said excitedly.
"Can I show you something now?" Xander begged.
"Sure, go ahead." Sora said, encouraging Xander.
"Ok, this one’s really cool, I promise. I want you and Mom to walk out to the front yard and count to 10." Xander explained.
Sora and Brie laughed and held hands as they walked to the front yard.
"What do you think he could possibly be doing?" Sora asked with a smile.
Xander concentrated deeply, and when he guessed it was around 10 seconds outside, he whispered, "Lockheart Unleashed: 1 minute rewind."
"We don’t want you growing up too fast!" Sora pleaded...
"Wait, didn’t we already have this conversation?"
