Chapter 1290: Chapter 1289: I’ll Listen to You
"If he’s not home, we’ll wait for him to come back."
Easton Holmes isn’t sure if Ryan Taylor is at home right now, but he has already decided in his heart that he will accompany his wife at the Taylor Family home, waiting until Ryan Taylor returns.
Hearing this, Lily Turner suddenly stopped and turned to look at the man beside her, "Then let’s go home for dinner first, and then take Ann with us later. That way, our visit won’t seem so abrupt."
Rushing to someone’s house without even a phone call would definitely feel odd. She didn’t want to go just like that.
"That’s true! I’ll listen to you."
Easton Holmes thought Lily Turner made a lot of sense, so he took her back to their home.
After dinner, the two of them said they would take Ann out for a walk to help digest the food. Amelia Linton and Callix Linton didn’t doubt their excuse one bit, and they happily left the house with their son.
"Ann! Shall we visit Great Grandma’s house and have some fun?" Just as they walked out of the yard, Lily Turner lowered her head to ask her lovely son.
"Sure!"
Little Ann is often taken by Aiden Taylor and Harriet White to the Taylor Family home. So when he heard his mom suggest going to Great Grandma’s house, he immediately agreed.
Seeing their son’s happy face, Lily Turner and Easton Holmes knew they were taking the right approach. One on each side, they led little Ann straight to the Taylor Family home.
The Taylor Family and Linton Family homes aren’t very far apart. After walking for about ten minutes, the three of them were already standing at the Taylor Family’s door.
"Great Grandma! Open the door! Ann is here!"
Without waiting for Easton Holmes and Lily Turner to knock, little Ann had already started shouting at the door. As he yelled, he pulled his little hand from his parents’ grip and approached the door, banging on it vigorously with both hands, "Great Grandma! Open the door!"
Ann kept banging on the door energetically while shouting inside.
Creak!
Soon, hearing the commotion, someone inside opened the door. It was none other than Harriet White herself, who was delighted to see the family standing at the entrance.
"Sweetie! You’re here!" Harriet White first bent down to hold the hand of little Ann, who had been banging on the door, and then stepped aside, allowing Easton Holmes and Lily Turner to enter, "Come on in."
After they entered, she took little Ann’s hand and followed them inside.
"Sweetie! Have you eaten?" As Harriet White took little Ann towards the living room, she asked, lowering her head.
"Yes." Little Ann freed his hand from Harriet White’s grip and ran ahead inside, shouting as he went, "Great Grandpa! Ann is here!"
Ann shouted as he dodged his parents walking in front, racing into the living room.
Harriet White wanted to tell Ann that Great Grandpa hadn’t returned yet, but she had already lost sight of little Ann.
After running into the living room, little Ann didn’t see Aiden Taylor; instead, he noticed Evelyn Taylor sitting on the sofa, playing with her phone. Seeing Evelyn, he blurted out, "Auntie."
Not seeing Great Grandpa, little Ann seemed a bit disappointed.
Upon hearing little Ann’s voice, Evelyn Taylor looked up towards him, "Ann is here!"
As soon as she spoke, she noticed Easton Holmes and Lily Turner following inside, and her expression wasn’t as relaxed as before.
"Daddy! Mommy! Great Grandpa isn’t here." Little Ann sadly remarked as he saw his parents walking in.
At this moment, Harriet White walked in, having heard little Ann’s words, and quickly responded, "Your Great Grandpa has some things to do and will be back later."
