Chapter 119: Mafia / 1.6 : Spoiled brat
A-Xuan looked at Atlas in anger and went back to take his seat after comforting the maid a little longer. He asked:
"Brother where are you been?"
"At my hotel."
A-Xuan and Kuang felt like Atlas calling the Yao hotel his was dig at them and so did the staff. A-Xuan’s hands tightened into fists but he put on a smile and inquired:
"What were you doing there all week?"
Atlas met his eyes.
"My heat was somehow triggered at my lunch with Han and I left for the presidential suite with him."
A-Xuan and Kuang felt happy hearing that. They started to have doubts when Atlas came in.
Kuang asked:
"Does that mean you like Han since you spent the week with him?"
"He’s not the one I spent the week with."
Kuang frowned.
"Didn’t you go back with him to the suite?"
"I did but I was alert enough to remember I didn’t have my cellular and had to go back."
Kuang and A-Xuan looked at each other with a bad presentiment. Atlas continued:
"While I was about to join him again I met an Alpha who was more to my taste and stayed in his room instead."
The entire room was speechless. A-Xuan gaped at Atlas, how could he act like such a whore? He and his fiance decided to preserve themselves for each other so he’ll never understand how Atlas can just sleep with some random person he never met. Furthermore, because he is such slut he ruined their plan.
He asked in anger as his eyes flashed with disgust:
"Atlas how could you spend a week with some random person you just met? What is wrong with you?"
Atlas raised an eyebrow.
"Wouldn’t it have been the same if I had stayed with Han? I don’t know anything about him either but in this case, at least I could look at something pretty while I was having fun."
Kuang banged his fist on the table and yelled:
"Atlas how can you speak like that?"
Atlas laughed.
"I’m twenty years old father I’m an adult. I can do and say whatever I want."
He finds it hilarious that they’re acting this way when they sent him to get raped by an alpha who killed two of his previous wives. Now they dare act like he is being crass? Is this a fucking joke? They’re used to omega being shy and introverted but Atlas won’t hide who he is now that he is free.
Kuang took a breath calming down. There’s no need to speak to Altas since he’s going to get rid of him anyway. He asked:
"Does that mean you don’t like Han?"
They both looked at Atlas when he answered:
"Actually I did like him, at the lunch I realized that I misjudged him."
A-Xuan asked:
"So you’re interested in marrying him?"
They both held their breath when Atlas seemed to think.
"I am."
Kuang and A-Xuan finally relaxed. Kuang smiled and said:
"How about we schedule your wedding for next week?"
Atlas shook his head and said looking at A-Xuan with a gentle smile:
"I want to get married on the same day as brother."
A-Xuan’s happy face fell and he said:
"What are you talking about Atlas?"
"I thought that we could have a double wedding, like that we would be together on the best day of our life. We’ve missed so many times together while I was away so I want us to do this together. What do you think?"
Kuang’s eyes flashed in anger but he said calmly:
"Atlas your brother has been preparing his wedding for two years already and it’s in a couple of weeks it’s best if you marry next week and come to his wedding as a guest."
Atlas said determinedly:
"If brother and I can’t marry together on the same day then I don’t ever want to get married."
After saying that Atlas ran away to his room upset.
When he was out of earshot A-Xuan yelled:
"Father I’m not going to share my only day with that selfish brat. Everything is always about him and now he wants my wedding to be too. His wedding is a farce while mine is real!"
Kuang sighed and said:
"You know how stubborn he is he won’t marry unless you have a double wedding."
A-Xuan stood up and said crying:
"I don’t want to share my day with him. Why does he get everything and I nothing? How is it fair?"
Kuang felt heartbroken seeing his son like that. He hugged him and said patting his back:
"As soon as he is married he’ll be out of our life then we’ll have another wedding without him I promise."
A-Xuan cursed:
"I hate him father, I hate him so fucking much. I want him to die now."
"I do too but you know that we would lose everything if something were to happen to him. Gaozong that paranoid old freak thought that someone might go after him so he added an appendix saying that you would forfeit everything if Atlas were to die."
A-Xuan held onto his father crying more. Since he has to share his day then he’ll make Atlas’ life a living hell until then. Ever since they were little he could tell how desperate he was to get close to him but A-Xuan has always hated him. Just because he was cuter and smarter everyone always preferred him.
It seems like even after all these years Atlas is still desperate to get close to him so he’ll torture him while acting like a loving brother. He pulled back and said:
"I’ll make his life a nightmare until the wedding."
Kuang smiled ruthlessly and said:
"You can do whatever you want, you know I’ll always support you."
A-Xuan smiled darkly. All the pain he caused Atlas when they were younger will be a walk in the park compared to now.
Before all he could do is physically hurt him but it didn’t last long since his mother found out but now that he’s been running the clan with his father for so long he has more than enough contacts. Atlas is gonna rue the day he wanted him to share his wedding.
