Chapter 120: Mafia / 1.7 : Cute cat
Atlas woke up in a good mood. After ordering for food to be made he took a long relaxing shower. He dressed and left for the living room. Atlas sat down and looked at the maid from last night. It only took a glance for him to serve him. He smiled sadistically. They’re all going to learn their place in his house. He can tell that the staff is acting like he is a spoiled brat, he slept in while his father and A-Xuan are at work but he doesn’t care.
Atlas left to check all the businesses and see how far his father’s hand extend. Kuang always knew he and Gaozong would come back so he made sure that he would still live as well as he did once he took back the clan and companies. He made sure he would have the most important people of the clan on his side and he even had money from smaller companies wired directly into his bank account.
Atlas is making a list of all who have to die and those who stayed loyal to his grandfather. He wants to see how the businesses are run and since no one knows his face yet it’s perfect. They haven’t seen him in more than 10 years so it’s not like they’ll recognize him. Atlas went back home an hour before dinner and hopped into the shower.
He put on nice clothes and looked at his reflection. He can’t wait to have dinner with all the people who destroyed his life. But what he looks forward to most is seeing Shen-Ge. After he came for the will he decided to stay on the planet a little longer so he had to go back and pack. He was worried about Atlas when he saw how his father and A-Xuan treated him. He only saw him a day before he had to go back so he’s excited.
Atlas entered the living room and took a seat at the head of the table using his cellular. A few minutes later A-Xuan and Kuang entered the dining room. Kuang stilled when he saw where Atlas was sitting. His eyes darkened, A-Xuan who had noticed said:
"Atlas you know that father seats at the head of the table."
Atlas ignored him using his cellular.
When A-Xuan saw that he was still pouting about last night his hands tightened into fists. His father put a hand on his shoulder and he walked to Atlas. He knelt in front of him and said:
"I thought about what you said last night and I think that it would be great to have a double wedding."
Atlas immediately looked up from his cellphone and asked excitedly with sparkly eyes:
"Really?"
A-Xuan forced himself not to choke him and nodded with a gentle smile.
"Really."
Atlas hugged him with a bright smile and A-Xuan patted his back with disgust. Atlas pulled back and went back to using his cellular. A-Xuan stood up and said:
"Atlas you should let father seat at the head of the table."
Atlas looked up and asked confused:
"Why? Grandfather always said that the leader of the clan should seat at the head of the table so shouldn’t I?"
Kuang was about to curse him when A-Xuan said:
"Father sit here."
When Kuang saw the gentle smile of his darling son he sat at the end of the table. A-Xuan sat on his father’s left. When he thought about Er-Gege and how he might sit between him and Atlas he changed seats. He doesn’t want Atlas to do anything to upset him.
When someone rang A-Xuan’s heartbeat quickened in excitement. He hasn’t seen Er-Gege in more than a week. He doesn’t remember the last time it happened, he is used to seeing him at least three or four times a week. They would have lunch but this week he was swamped at work so he gave him space. When he entered the dining room he immediately stood up and hugged him tightly. He smiled and said:
"How are you?"
"I’m okay what about you?"
When he caressed his cheek A-Xuan blushed and answered:
"I missed you."
He smiled and said:
"Me too."
A-Xuan smiled gently. He grabbed his hand and said:
"Come on I’ll introduce you to my brother."
Once they reached Atlas A-Xuan introduced:
"Er-Gege this is my brother Atlas, Atlas this is my fiance Yixin."
At that name Atlas who was uninterested immediately looked up from his cellular. His brother’s fiance is fucking Yixin? The man who waited until they are married to have sex with A-Xuan because he loved him so much? Is this a fuckin joke? When he received this universe’s information he didn’t try to find out anything about A-Xuan’s fiance because they never met in the OG timeline and he didn’t do anything to him.
He didn’t look up Yixin either when they met since they weren’t going to see each other again. He certainly didn’t think he was his future brother-in-law. Of course, this kind of thing happens to him. He doesn’t care that he slept with his brother’s fiance what bothers him is that he knows Yixin won’t sit idly by as he destroys A-Xuan.
He doesn’t plan on changing his plan so if Yixin gets involved he’ll deal with him too. No wonder he got a big boss vibe from him. Yixin is the most powerful man in this universe and once he and A-Xuan married they became a power couple. Wu Han who had made a deal with his family gained even more power since Yixin started to use his company after A-Xuan asked him to.
It should be fairly easy to turn Yixin against his brother. He only loves him because he thinks he is this pure and innocent creature. He is a better actor than A-Xuan he can certainly make him expose his true face. Atlas looked at Yixin slightly stunned then he said:
"I-It’s nice to meet you Yixin."
After saying that he immediately looked down at his cellular.
Yixin looked at Atlas then at his trembling hand holding the cellular. He said expressionlessly:
"You too."
A-Xuan looked between the two confused. He took a seat when Yixin did. He was about to tell him that he left this seat for him but he was looking at Atlas. That’s exactly what he wanted to avoid. He didn’t want Yixin to seat next to Atlas he knows he’ll do something to offend him at some point.
Kuang who could feel his son’s discomfort asked:
"Leader Zen where were you this week we haven’t seen you?"
Yixin’s eyes were still on Atlas and he answered when Altas looked at him worried.
"My second in command had to leave the planet for a few days so I had more work."
Atlas swallowed and looked down again.
Yixin frowned, he thought he understood what kind of person Atlas was but he was wrong. He believed that he was a desperate omega looking for a rich alpha to trap so he could live well but he was wrong. He knows that Atlas is the heir of the Yao clan since A-Xuan told him. He was upset that his grandfather who’s always hated him wouldn’t even consider him when he’s been working with his father for the clan while Altas was on another planet living his best life.
Before he and A-Xuan got engaged they were friends. He would tell him everything that would happen in his house and vice versa. He told him that Atlas was cherished by everyone while everyone looked down on him. Atlas would constantly accuse him of the most terrible thing and that it caused his grandfather and mother to hate him.
When his grandfather passed away Yixin couldn’t understand why A-Xuan was so heartbroken when he treated him so terribly. He wouldn’t even keep in touch when he left the planet and neither did Atlas. From everything, A-Xuan told him Atlas should be happy that he slept with his fiance but he could tell Atlas was shocked to see him again. Shouldn’t he rejoice that he slept with him when A-Xuan never did?
If Atlas wasn’t looking for someone rich why was he running away from the suite next door? And who was he running from? Why did he accept him and acted like he was the shameless person he thought he was? When Yixin would make comments he would never try to defend himself on the contrary he would play the role to perfection.
He reached out to caress Atlas’ head and he looked up at him stunned. Kuang and A-Xuan were just as startled. They know that Yixin only acts this way with them, his reputation as a ruthless tyrant is well known everywhere. Thinking that A-Xuan thought that he was being nice to Atlas because he is his twin brother. Yixin has always been sweet to him so he’s just treating his brother the same. He’ll tell him when it’s just the two of them that he doesn’t have to.
Atlas looked into Yixin’s grey eyes and tilted his head. What is the big boss doing? Does he think he is a pet? He pushed his hand away annoyed. Yixin’s eyes flashed in amusement and Atlas narrowed his eyes. He doesn’t mind acting but he won’t go as far as to act like a dog. Yixin better keeps his hands to himself or he’ll destroy him too.
Yixin looked into Atlas’ threatening eyes but he didn’t feel the least bit threatened. He only felt like he was looking at a cat showing his paws. That’s how he felt before they left each other and now knowing who he really is he is sure of it.
