Chapter 487: Battle Lesson!

"Due to the extreme modifications to our brain, the elders recorded that our race has the highest chances of breeding telekinesis users".
"Some of the strongest telekinesis users in the world are Leviathons!"

"You may have accessed it through the knowledge of the elders already, but just for emphasis, the strongest and most reputed ancestor of our race is the Ocean King who once lorded over the Origin Peak Sea".
When Trinidad said this last part, he said it with such pride that his head was raised so high that he failed to detect the shock from Sebastian.
Sebastian never knew that the Ocean King was a Leviathon.
"Is this fate?" He was sincerely shocked, everything around him was one way or the other leading to the Ocean King first before others.
The first unique skill that he got was the Ocean King’s, the first magic ability that he inherited was the Telekinesis ability of the Ocean King, now he discovered that his 3rd living doppelganger was also related to this late Sea King.
Sebastian wondered if all these coincidences were hinting at something.
Trinidad did not know what was going through Sebastian’s mind, he guessed that the young Leviathon was probably admiring the Ocean King as he continued his lengthy words of wisdom.
"Young Sebastian, to fight at your body’s fullest potential, you need to develop the ability to harness and channel arrogance in a beneficial way".
"Just begin to imagine yourself as the King of the world".
"Imagine yourself as the strongest predator in all of Oceania, see yourself at the top, and see everything else and every other predator below you".
"For your first swimming lesson, you were tasked to swim with the mentality of a Leviathon. Now, your second battle lesson tasks you to battle with the mentality of a Leviathon".
"To make this lesson more impactful to your growth, all your opponents this time will be Red tier predators".
"Don’t worry about your safety, I am here".
"I never had the privilege to practice my battle lesson this way since there was no senior to take care of me, so cherish this opportunity, Young Sebastian".

Trinidad suddenly raised his head before releasing a breath that was filled with space magic powers at Sebastian. The next moment, Sebastian disappeared.
Bzzz!
When Sebastian opened his eyes, he was in a different territory.
Unlike most parts of the Dungeon of Souls, the gloomy green glow of the primordial origin essence here was a bit dim. The lighting was dim, but with his combined super sensing, Sebastian discovered that he was inside a big hole.
This was a big vertical hole that was dug through the sea’s rock-filled bed floor, and at the bottom of this hole was a blood-red pool.
After getting to the bottom of the hole, the water seemed to undergo a metamorphosis stage that changed it into a blood-red color.
This was a real literal blood pool, not just red-colored water.
Before Sebastian could observe his surroundings carefully and understand what exactly was going on, a deep voice reverberated out of the blood pool.
"INTERESTING, HAHAHAHAHA!"
"ANOTHER LEVIATHON HERE? HMM, I BET TRINIDAD, THAT FOOL ALREADY MET YOU SO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE ALL ALONE?"
"HE SIGNED A TREATY NOT TO KILL MORE OF US, SO WHAT IS ALL THESE?"
"HE WON’T DARE GO AGAINST THE TREATY, SO IS THIS A FORM OF TRAINING?"
"I THINK I GUESSED RIGHT BUT IT ONLY INFURIATES ME MORE".
"TRINIDAD, HOW DARE YOU SEND A PURPLE TIER MEMBER OF YOUR RACE ALONE HERE TO MEET ME???"
"YOU MUST BE TIRED OF SEEING HIM ALIVE!"
"HEY, YOUNG FOOL, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY BEFORE DYING?"
At this point, the massive Toad already emerged out of the blood pool completely. This mutated beast seemed like a zombie toad monster as ugly blisters filled with pus and other gross details covered his body.
By this time, Sebastian already understood the test completely. His first test was against a Toad, a predator with the bloodline disadvantage but the fact that this was a Red tier predator evened everything out.
This was going to be a challenging test but Sebastian was ready for it.
"YOU DARE TO IGNORE ME?"
"I SAID WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY BEFORE DYING?"
Now, Sebastian was irritated. "Would you please shut that big mouth of yours? Sincerely, the ugly sound of your voice is killing me".
"...Wh-what?"
"So you can speak normally, what a pretentious bastard you are..."
Boom!
The mighty Toad leaped out of his blood pool straight at Sebastian.
Having expected this though as he taunted the beast, Sebastian was not caught off guard, rather, he was prepared for it.
Before starting this battle, only one word constantly rang in his mind.
"...Remember, go into battle seeing yourself as an indomitable warlord".
"I am a warlord!"
"I am undefeatable!"

Sebastian in his Leviathon body was still a sound domain magician, but inherently, Leviathons had an affinity for space magic.
So, even without having the magic domain, with his bloodline power alone, Sebastian was able to make this skill work as a mighty space slash materialized before flying at the powerful Toad monster.
The Toad jumped towards Sebastian with his 2 front limbs in a posture similar to that of the legendary boxer, Mike Tyson unleashing a lethal uppercut blow.
"Self-Created Skill: Bloody Uppercut!"
As the Toad attacked, a blood-colored aura covered him which soon empowered the uppercut to turn into a fierce energy attack.
This blood-red energy attack collided against the space slash with a bang.
BOOM!
The walls of the hole shook as these 2 attacks collided, the shockwave momentarily stopped both predators before they quickly overcame the pushing force with their own force.
Sebastian rushed at the Toad as they engaged in a fierce melee battle.

[You have activated skill: Domineering King Kong Physique!]
In his domineering King Kong physique form, Sebastian fought a legendary melee battle against this boxer Toad with legendary boxing techniques.
The Toad was super-fast, strong, and tricky as all his blood empowered lethal punches almost came close to knocking out Sebastian already but Sebastian held on as he bombarded him with everything that he had to offer.
Of course, Sebastian did not make use of his unique skills, but apart from those, he made use of every other thing in his repertoire to fight this beast.
Sound domain skills were spammed like missiles even as he fought this legendary melee battle against the Toad, both of them sustained injuries in no time as blood started flowing, making the hole turn even more creepy.
10 minutes into the battle, the Toad was shocked completely. How on earth was a purple-tier predator fighting equally against him for 10 minutes?
He felt light-headed. "Was the world coming to an end?"
For the first time in Sebastian’s life, due to all the talks and hyping from Trinidad, he fought a battle against a higher-tiered predator without giving that much attention and reverence to his opponent’s tier.
All the time that Sebastian fought against higher-tiered predators, he always had this feeling in his heart that he was fighting an uphill battle.
Though he didn’t pay attention to it then, now, Sebastian discovered that this state of mind made his enemies seem more powerful than they actually were.
Now, for the first time, he fought a real battle against a higher-tiered predator without taking it too important and the effects showed.
Sebastian was able to fight at his full strength and this was enough to hold his ground against the Toad. Before, if he could only fight at 60% of his full power, now he could fight at roughly 75%, this was a huge improvement.
As the battle continued, the more Sebastian’s advantage of a pinnacle bloodline started becoming apparent as the Toad’s defense already cracked completely from the powerful slamming attacks of the Leviathon.
The Toad felt ashamed but he easily decided to save his life. With a quick maneuver, he escaped from Sebastian and dived back into his blood pool.
After doing this, he taunted Sebastian.
"If you think you’re so strong, why not come to fight me in my territory arrogant son of a b*tch!"
"Let me tell you, this blood pool is my only magic gadget, it was created by the greatest weaponsmith of the Dungeon of Souls herself, Esquire".
"Even Trinidad himself can not harm me in my blood pool".
"You can try your luck, bastard..."
[You have activated skill: Supersonic Speed!]
Sebastian was already plunging toward the blood pool. "Remember this Old Toad, I am the predator and you are the prey!"
