Chapter 485: A Proposal For Cooperation.

"Wait, wait, please wait!"

"HAHAHAHAHA!"

"Wait!!!"

"HUH?"

On finally getting the attention of this massive beast, Sebastian heaved a sigh of relief as he could finally speak in peace to the hearing of the beast.

"I’m sorry but please start all over, who are you? And please, your voice is a little too loud, I can’t hear what you’re saying". It took all the balls that Sebastian had across his 3 bodies to muster the courage to say this.

The Leviathon who was almost 2 times bigger than Sebastian’s current body showed a confused expression on his face after Sebastian spoke.

When he just met this predator, Sebastian felt trepidations in his heart initially but these all stopped due to the way that the Leviathon behaved around him which made way for it to be followed by an extreme curiosity.

The first time that he met a Leviathon, they had no choice but to fight to determine who lived and who died. Then though, he met the Leviathon as a Megalodon but Sebastian was meeting this Leviathon as a Leviathon himself.

He already guessed why this beast did not kill him immediately already, but he still wanted to hear what he had to say to not misjudge.

After he asked, and seeing the confused expression on the Leviathon’s face, Sebastian almost felt like facepalming if he could.

He repeated it, this time in a slow manner. "Who..., are..., you?"

"OH!" The Leviathon suddenly jerked like it finally understood what Sebastian meant. "HAHAHAHA, YOU’RE MY BROTHER!"

"..."

In the end, Sebastian had to do it the hard way to get what he wanted.

To his relief, the information that he got aligned with what he already guessed. Leviathons like every other Space Beast mostly lived in seclusion since the quest to find others of their race was a steep one.

This was the reason why they seldom spoke when they encountered other predators, this was because they were already used to the life of a recluse.

This lack of a social life meant that they were bad at communicating with others too. In a normal Leviathon’s life, all that they mostly ever had to say was hauling curses at their enemies and mocking them for their weaker strength.

The only time when this monotonic lifestyle of theirs changed was when they chanced upon the low probability encounter of meeting another of their race.

This Red tier Leviathon during all his life in the Dungeon of Souls never met another Leviathon, so his excitement at meeting Sebastian could be understood.

At first, he was just taking a nap like usual, thinking of the variety of prey that he would eat for dinner that evening before a stray beast suddenly entered the range of his consciousness vision.

Consciousness vision was a skill that was exclusive to Red tier and above predators. When they grew strong enough and developed their origin law comprehension enough, powerful predators randomly awaken this ability.

Once his consciousness vision swept past Sebastian, he was stoked.

He was in doubt at first, but on rushing closer to Sebastian, he was both extremely excited and a little disappointed. He was excited because he finally met his brother, and he was disappointed because Sebastian was male!

Once Sebastian got a hang over the personality of this huge fellow who was of the same race as him, getting along with him became as easy as pie.

Once again, Sebastian was grateful for the primordial origin essence of generalizing language or he would have been stuck with this predator.

Once Sebastian agreed, the overenthusiastic predator took him home. Well, he just took him inside since this place was the Leviathon’s home.

This was an unexpected encounter that Sebastian did not envision, but it was a welcome one since he felt that meeting a Red tier Leviathon in a friendly manner was going to be beneficial to his cause.

Due to the muddy green leaking glow of the primordial origin essence that obstructed vision previously, Sebastian was unable to see deep enough.

When the Red tier Leviathon took him deeper though, Sebastian saw that underneath this place of the sea was a huge rock and underneath the huge rock was the Leviathon’s massive home.

The entrance to the Leviathon’s home was hidden, the only key to enter was space magic which the Leviathon helped Sebastian with.

Bzzz!

In no time, he disappeared only to reappear in a new world.

The Leviathon’s home seemed like an entirely different place from other parts of the Dungeon of Souls. In here, the gloomy green glow of the primordial origin essence was still leaking but everything else was so different.

This was a massive world that was built inside a giant rock. There were trees and plants forming a wonderful ecosystem and a huge catalog of different beasts all living here that ranged from the purple tier realm down.

This was a world that this Leviathon separated from the outside world with his space domain magic, making it similar to a Manapedia but a scaled-down version of it. This was the Leviathon’s home.

In here, the Leviathon was King.

Sebastian was amazed as he was escorted through the city by the King. In no time, he was led to the massive rock the Leviathon called his throne.

Once they arrived, the massive Leviathon sat on his throne before turning his eyes affectionately to this younger one of his race.

"My name is Trinidad".

"My name is Sebastian". Sebastian replied instinctively.

The conversation started awkwardly at first, but the massive Leviathon soon set it on a smooth rolling motion as they both started speaking extensively about themselves and the lives that they’ve lived.

This was when Sebastian confirmed that this Leviathon was at the peak of the Red tier realm, similar to Eliana which was an extremely impressive feat.

With such strength, Sebastian had no chance of defeating the Leviathon if they fought. The fact that he got so close to such a powerful predator without knowing horrified him, he was glad that they didn’t have to fight.

The Leviathon lived in the Dungeon of Souls all his life. After coming to life as a purple tier predator, it took no time for him to learn about the cruelty of the world as he slowly learned how to fend for and take care of himself.

Throughout the story, Sebastian felt that the Leviathon’s life was eventful enough to be documented and created as an adventure monster movie.

After the Leviathon gave his story, Sebastian finally gave his. Of course, it was a fabricated truth since he only recently created his ultimate war vessel.

By the time he was done, Trinidad was more confused than thrilled. "Your life is so abnormal".

"I know". Sebastian laughed.

"For a Leviathon, you are really a special breed, I wonder how you managed to not access all the knowledge of the elders and lived your own life".

Sebastian laughed awkwardly. At this moment, the sincerity being displayed by this predator was already affecting him, he felt guilty.

Against a fellow Leviathon, Trinidad let his guard so down that he simply told every single truth about his life without excluding any details.

It felt nonsensical, but even if it was just a sign of mutual respect, Sebastian at least wanted to replicate a bit of this trust to Trinidad.

"Actually, I’m not a normal Leviathon".

"Don’t worry, I knew since the first time that I saw you through my consciousness vision, you’re so different in some ways".

"Thanks for not pointing it out".

"No worries".

Surprisingly, Trinidad had a talent for controlling conversations which became more apparent the more he spoke with Sebastian.

During their short life story, they told every basic thing about themselves which enabled Trinidad to have a basic idea of Sebastian’s strength.

"You said you can fight toe to toe against normal Red tier predators?"

"Yeah!"

"Damn, I always knew my race had much more potential than this". Trinidad flapped one of his heavy powerful limbs in emphasis. "And if I remember correctly, you said that you’re looking for earth domain magicians, right?"

"Yes".

"What if we struck a deal? I have this enemy of mine, ok, it’s better to call him a rival of mine. I’ve been trying to defeat him in a battle for a long time, but each time we fought, we always ended up in a draw".

"At the Red tier realm, to improve entails more than just killing beasts. Your psychological state and a lot of other things also affect evolution at this stage".

"If I can believe that I’m superior to him, I think it’ll boost my chances of evolution into the next tier a lot which is why I need your help".

"You are not his match, but you can support me to fight him. With your strength, I stand a much higher chance of winning against him in battle".

"As for your reward, I know a certain beast clan that has survived the storm of the Orca Revolution till now. Their survival is entirely due to the presence of their numerous powerful earth domain magicians".

"They are masters at hiding underground and sneaking underground".

"If you help me, I can help you get them to work for you".

Now, Sebastian was speechless. Due to how excited he was before, Trinidad always felt like a gullible powerful predator to Sebastian but with this, Trinidad successfully showed his shrewder side to him.

The proposal was too good to be true though, it didn’t matter if they could not defeat Trinidad’s rival, so long as he helped, Trinidad would help him.

Sebastian had no reason to refuse, he easily accepted.

"Haha, welcome to the club Sebastian".

Sebastian laughed while the main thing that dominated his mind was relief that Trinidad was able to agree and lower his extremely loud voice.
