Chapter 427: The Glowing Sanctum.

The Mana-Lord-shaped warship spent 5 minutes before it ferried the 6 companions for the last test of the Induction Ceremony to the Glowing Sanctum.

When Sebastian first heard that the name of the core of this Manapedia was called the Glowing Sanctum, he already had an idea of it, and he was not disappointed as he was presented with vaguely what he expected.

Apart from the fact that the Glowing Sanctum was in the very middle of this Manapedia, another fact that became evident to Sebastian immediately was that the mana here was 2 times thicker than in other locations of the Manapedia.

Putting the fact that the normal mana in Manapedia was already thicker than the outside world, this meant that on entering the Glowing Sanctum, Sebastian became exposed to mana that was 6 times thicker than the outside expanse.

Still, inside the warship, Sebastian moaned instinctively as he basked in the feeling of bathing in mana of such thickness.

In this environment, Sebastian felt his mana sensitivity rising to an unprecedented level that he had never experienced before.

If entering Manapedia from the outside world left him feeling like he entered a bathtub, entering the territory of the Glowing Sanctum left him feeling like he was in his mother’s embrace.

For the first time in over a decade, he experienced a feeling similar to when he was a baby, without a care in the world, only concerned about the milk that was always available for him to suck from his mom’s breasts.

The feeling of satisfaction, relaxation, and contentment was worth dying for.

Unknowing to Sebastian, immediately after he entered the Glowing Sanctum and was exposed to mana 6 times thicker than the outside world, he already entered a peculiar state that he could not understand.

The Glowing Sanctum was another forest in the massive Manapedia.

The only difference between it and the other forests in this Manapedia was even though it was allowed to grow randomly and wildly, this forest seemed groomed and had a unique wild nature to it.

Another major difference was that the Glowing Sanctum was filled with trees dominated by white leaves, the grasses and weeds were mostly white also.

The occasional colorful flowers that grew in this forest did not diminish the white background; the Glowing Sanctum was a glowing world of white.

Just from a look, Sebastian already understood the inspiration for its name. This forest was the sanctum of the revered Celestial Beasts, and the fact that the white background glowed and pulsed randomly justified the glowing in the name.

The massive warship that ferried the 6 predators was extremely silent as its only 6 inhabitants admired the beautiful world that presented itself before them.

All 5 Mana Lords had seen the Glowing Sanctum before, but it was all through the virtual projection that they watched the previous Induction Ceremony’s acknowledgment tests.

At this moment, the spectating Mana Lords were also watching the progress and eventual performance of the 6 lucky predators who entered this sacred place.

Whoosh!

The warship moved through the covers of the massive trees, through the grass covers, the wild-growing weed, and the world of white as a whole 2 minutes later, it finally arrived at the middle of the Glowing Sanctum.

The warship finally arrived at the resting ground of the Celestial Beasts.

The resting ground of the Celestial Beasts was a massive honeycomb-like structure that was erected at the middle of the Glowing Sanctum.

This massive structure was made out of a material that looked like the silks of a spider, but on closer observation through his Combined Super Sensing, Sebastian discovered that the silks were actually mana threads.

Sebastian was amazed at the discovery.

The glowing white silk was actually a result of the extreme thickness of the mana here. In the middle of the Glowing Sanctum here, the mana was even thicker.

The thickness became so much that the mana solidified in the air, and through this, Sebastian guessed that the Celestial Beasts manipulated and weaved them together to form the mana silk which formed the honeycomb-like structure.

After getting there, the warship’s engines switched off, automatically switching to a state of hibernation according to the programs that were inputted in it since it wasn’t piloted by any Mana Lord pilot.

Before the engines could switch off completely though, Sebastian could already detect the powerful wills that were radiating out of the structure.

These wills were extremely powerful as they seemed to invade Sebastian and the 5 other’s minds, it was like these wills were performing a personality test.

Sebastian could not resist it even if he wanted to, so he simply gave up as the wills did what they wanted with his mind. It was when the wills finally seemed to have observed to their satisfaction that a change was detected.

A cool wind suddenly seemed to start blowing through the water as the melodic sounds of a flute perforated the air, invading the 6 predator’s ears.

In this state, Sebastian and the 5 others seemed to become intoxicated again.

Sebastian fought back hard but he was not strong enough to resist, he could only delay the inevitable as he quickly became intoxicated. His eyes turned hazy, his vision now turning into a white and black shaky one.

In this state, Sebastian finally saw them coming out. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

All of a sudden, dozens of incorporeal existences started swimming out of the honeycomb-like structure through the holes that were all over its surface as they fixated their glowing eyes on the 6 predators before them.

The Celestial Beasts were of different types and sizes, ranging from Phoenixes to Dragons, to Golden Crows, to Rocs, Vermillion Birds, and a host of other historical and mythical beasts.

As soon as they all came outside, the 6 predators became pushed to the verge of losing consciousness. This was a non-deliberate act of the Celestial Beasts; the 6 predators were too weak to withstand their auras nonchalantly.

Sebastian fought hard, but he was too weak, he lost consciousness the next moment. Sebastian lost consciousness only to wake up in another world.

He was now in a world that was dominated by white, and before him was a mighty Black Dragon that looked extremely similar to the Celestial Beasts before.

Before Sebastian could think or talk, the Dragon spoke.

"My name is Draconous, what is your name?"
