Chapter 128: Willem O Ayura
It was the Patriarch.
The supreme leader of the entire Ayura family! Willem O. Ayura.
He strolled into the room wearing a perfectly tailored, high-end business suit that practically screamed corporate dominance under the heavens.
Instantly, the Matriarch and Hina stood up from their chairs like their seats had just been electrified.
Every single servant in the room, including Lily, dropped their trays and bowed deeply, maintaining a perfectly rigid position.
The sudden, high-voltage commotion made Leo kun and the other two to look up.
The second they saw the man’s terrifying presence, they immediately stood up from the breakfast table as well.
"We salute the Patriarch!"
The servants shouted in unison, not daring to stand straight, their heads glued toward the floorboards.
Willem didn’t even slow down his pace, his polished leather shoes clicking sharply against the marble.
The Matriarch offered a polite, graceful bow, trying to regain her composure.
"Good morning, Patriarch..."
He completely ignored her.
He didn’t even give his own wife a single glance, treating the peak S-rank boss like an invisible piece of castle furniture.
Instead, he walked straight past her and casually ruffled Hina’s hair with a rare, faint smile.
Hina instantly giggled, completely melting from her usual sharp persona, and pointed toward the table.
"Father, these are my friends staying with us."
Willem stopped for a fraction of a second, his cold eyes sweeping over Leo, Sera, and Kaito like he was inspecting a batch of low-tier vegetables at a discount market.
"Friends? Hina, a future leader of this family does not have spare time to waste greeting random, nameless children who have accomplished absolutely nothing under the heavens. Do not include such useless social gatherings in my schedule again."
The entire room instantly fell into a freezing, awkward silence.
Leo kun’s bright protagonist smile completely jammed, while Sera’s fork nearly snapped from her sudden grip.
This guy was instantly the most dislikeable entity to ever enter the province.
"Father, wait! This is Leo!"
Hina quickly blurted out, her finger pointing straight at the blonde hero.
She knew this was looking incredibly bad in front of her friends.
Her father was being a total public embarrassment, but she was absolutely sure of one thing.
’He will definitely know Leo. Everyone under the heavens knows Leo!’
I mean, let’s be completely real for a second.
Leo wasn’t just some random kid from the block; he was the literal future of humanity, a chosen protagonist so famous that even toddlers in diapers knew his entire stat sheet.
He was the golden boy of the Righteous Alliance.
There wasn’t a single person on the planet who hadn’t seen his face on a billboard.
Leo himself was getting pretty annoyed by now.
’Wow, how rude can you get? Is every single aristocrat in this family born without a politeness gene?’
First it was Kaizen, though he actually turned out to be a cool bro after some physical training.
’Now it’s this corporate suit guy? I’ve never even met this man before, even though I’ve shared tea with the Matriarch.’
But then, Leo’s internal protagonist ego took over, a tiny, confident smirk forming on his face.
’Hina just dropped my government name. Watch this. He is instantly going to change his attitude and try to curry favor with me. Hehe.’
Leo was 100% sure of it.
Everyone at the higher levels of society acted exactly like that.
They all desperately wanted his supreme influence and political backing.
Even the Matriarch did it, even though she always claimed her friendly attitude was purely out of a mother’s love for Hina’s romantic future.
Sera, meanwhile, was currently suppressing the urge to throw a high-tier punch straight into the Patriarch’s expensive corporate teeth.
’I don’t care if he’s the king of the castle, if he opens his mouth one more time, I’m launching a flying kick at his business suit.’
Kaito, on the other hand, literally did not exist for this entire scene.
He was just a dark silhouette in the corner, thoroughly enjoying his brooding invisibility privilege.
All eyes in the grand hall were now completely locked onto Willem, waiting for the massive shift in his expression.
The tension was thick enough to cut with a dagger.
He didn’t even bother to turn his whole body around, merely glancing over his tailored shoulder with a massive, soul-crushing scoff.
"Leo? Who the hell is that?"
And just like that, without a single second of hesitation, he turned on his heels and walked straight out of the grand dining hall.
Silence.
Every single person at the breakfast table stood there with their mouths wide open, completely catching flies.
It was an absolute critical hit to their collective sanity.
Well, except for Kaito, because as previously mentioned, he simply did not exist for this part of the script.
Even the Matriarch was suddenly sweating bullets, her S-rank heart doing a violent flip in her chest.
’Oh no... this is a total disaster! Willem you absolute idiot!’
’Leo is going to take this as a massive, unforgivable offense and completely break the marriage pact with our clan!’
The Matriarch opened her mouth to fix the situation.
She desperately needed to say something to salvage her family’s political relationship with the future of humanity before the entire alliance fell apart under the heavens.
But Hina beat her to it.
"Don’t mind him, guys! My father is just like that! He thinks acting like a flamboyant, unbothered corporate billionaire makes him look cool, but he’s really just a massive boomer who doesn’t check social media trends!"
"Wow, your dad is seriously on a whole different level of delusion."
Sera snorted, crossing her arms and shaking her head with supreme disdain.
"He must be living under a literal rock if he doesn’t know the guy who saved the eastern province last month."
"Yeah, that was completely uncalled for."
Leo kun added, his protagonist pride thoroughly bruised as he aggressively stabbed a piece of pancake.
"I don’t care how much money his company makes, treating people like low-tier NPCs is just bad manners."
"Honestly, he looks like a classic mid-boss who gets deleted in Chapter three. With that kind of attitude, it’s a miracle your family business hasn’t gone completely bankrupt yet."
Hina felt a sudden, sharp sting in her chest.
She was already incredibly sad and angry at her father for humiliating her in front of her social circle, but hearing her friends casually roast her family line like a bunch of cheap internet trolls made her blood boil with pure, unadulterated fury.
"Shut up! All of you! You don’t know anything about him!"
Hina slammed her hands against the table, her eyes tearing up as she threw her napkin directly into her juice glass.
Without waiting for a single response from the stunned friends, she turned around and ran away from the dining hall at supersonic speeds.
