Chapter 720: Chapter 720 - Really Missing You
Arnold Simmons lifted his hand to hold his young lady’s cheek gently, delivering a kiss as he indulged her with a hoarse voice, "Don’t tease."
Hannah pouted, "I’m not."
Her delicate hand gently moved downwards, until it was effortlessly captured by Arnold.
He lowered his head to kiss the back of her hand, "It’s already very late."
Hannah nodded, "Indeed, late at night when all is quiet is the best time for naughty things. Be it the windowsill, balcony, couch, or floor, I can do it all."
She said it as if she was completely serious.
Arnold could not help but chuckle, carrying her in his arms as he walked towards the room, "You have a lot of appointments tomorrow. Shall I have Taylor cancel a few for you?"
Even though he was "dead", it didn’t affect the power Arnold held in his hand at all. In fact, it was even greater now. The Simmons Clan was now merely a toy in his hands.
His methods had always been merciless and ruthless. Now that he was behind the scenes, he was only more so ruthless. Many people had already come to understand this on a personal level.
Only when he was facing his girl, would the man show his gentleness and indulgence.
"No." Hannah clung to Arnold’s neck, her whole body lying on him, insisting that she did not want to get off the bed, "If I don’t go, my center position will be taken by someone else."
She lay on the man’s shoulder, her breath warm. She was already tired, her voice soft and lazy.
Arnold had to indulge her, carrying her in his arms as he sat on the bed himself, "Even if you don’t go, no one will dare to replace you."
Hannah shook her head, nuzzling the man’s shoulder. She changed her posture to snuggle herself completely in his arms, her voice lazy and slightly blurred.
Arnold had no choice but to lower his head, bringing his lips to hers.
Her soft voice was as light as a cloud. And when the cloud dispersed, it turned into a pool that could warm people’s hearts.
She said, "Arnold, I really miss you."
One sentence, took away all the man’s breath.
Even this ferocious beast seemed to retract his sharp claws at this moment. His gaze was filled with deep affection and obsession, as if he wanted to imprint every bit of her in his mind.
Those red lips were like the only colorful flower blooming in his heart.
Even amidst the desolation, he held her as his precious gem.
"Yes, I miss you too."
How much he missed her, every minute and every second, nearly driving him mad when he couldn’t see her.
The man bowed his head and delivered a kiss devoutly, ignoring any personal desire, filled only with boundless love.
The warmth filled the room.
An endless dream.
The war was fierce, and the rolling black smoke seemed to tear the stellar veil apart. Mountains of corpses and seas of blood, mech armors were everywhere, long losing their usual shine.
The cold wind was desolate.
Hannah struggled to open her eyes. All she saw was endless blood. The cold spread through her body along with the blood, the gnawing pain swept over her like huge waves, devouring her repeatedly.
Someone stopped beside her, her white dress spotlessly clean.
Her vision filled with a beautiful face, noble and elegant. She was like a worldly saint, beautiful like a lotus.
Yet the long sword she held above her gave away the jealousy in her eyes. Like a demented person, she crazily wielded the sword in her hand downward.
"It’s time for you to die!"
The blade was sharp. When it pierced into the chest, it brought an icy chill.
For 600 years in the space era, the third Commander of Stellar continuously led armies to resist foreign invasions. Whether in talent or ability, he had no equal.
